This family-run hotel offers an experience that is both authentic and deeply memorable. Exceptional Family Hospitality: The owners are the heart of this place—incredibly warm, attentive, and passionate about making every guest feel welcome. Their personal touch truly makes the difference. Outstanding Local Cuisine: We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel every morning, always prepared just as we liked. For dinner one evening, we were treated to a spectacular homemade meal. The wife's cooking is remarkable—we especially loved her Coniglio all'Ischitana (typical Ischian rabbit stew) and a classic local starter. The flavors were unforgettable, and the quality was exceptional. Excellent Value: Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices are very reasonable. Stunning Setting: The hotel boasts one of Ischia's most beautiful sunset views. It's peacefully located yet only a short walk from Forio's center. The private beach access with a wooden pier, sun loungers, and showers is a wonderful bonus. Final Verdict: I highly recommend Hotel Rotonda sul Mare to anyone looking for a true taste of Ischian life—complete with heartfelt hospitality, superb home-cooked food, and breathtaking sunsets. It offers outstanding value and an experience we will cherish.

La Rotonda Sul Mare and its seafront location in walking range from Forio in the beautiful island of Ischia outside of naples. This little paradise is our go to holiday stay in Europe and we are going to come back to Amerigo and his lovely family for many years to come. ||You can enjoy a day at his seaside «porch» with your own set of stairs leading right into the sea - guarded by his helper Danilo. Here you can have great food, a peroni, a bag of chips or some fruits. If you order with breakfast included the cornetto and omelet are my personal recommendations! They have some watertoys like kayaks, canoes and SUP boards that are free to use! ||The hotel owner will gladly drive you to the closest attractions if he has time - even to his familys restaurant if you want more traditional pasta / pizza. ||Its a very safe area with a short 10-15m walk to the city of Forio. You also have great pizzerias and traditional italian restaurants in walking distance if you cant find anything on Amerigos menu. ||Highly recommend eating dinner and watching the sunset from the beautiful scenery that is Rotonda Sul Mare - it truly is a beautiful sight

Great Location, great sunbeds and sea access, super friendly. Had a solo trip here and was very safe and comfortable. Bedrooms/bathrooms a bit jaded but perfectly clean and serviceable. Wold definitely recommend if you are looking for a small friendly family owned place. Easy 15 minute walk into town along the beaches.

La Rotonda is an amazing place on the coast with its own sun terrace and the direct access to the sea. The center of the city of Forio with lots of restaurants and shops is only a 7-minute walk away. The owner, Amerigo, is always friendly and helpfull.

Perfect place to stay in Ischia - Forio. Views are incredible, beachfront - easy access, comfortable sunbeds, have water equipment - SUP, kayaks and etc. Close to the city centre, bus stop, shops. Staff and Amerigo - wonderful hosts. Perfect stay, want to visit again. Very good breakfast. In addition, restaurant uses fresh ingredients for their meals, bruschettas with tomatoes and mozzarella were wonderful, also lobster spaghetti from catch of the day fish - delicious! Very good seafood.

Perfect place to stay in Ischia. Everything was perfect. The owner - Amerigo is always willing to help. Very welcoming. When we came he asked if it was our first time in Ischia and kindly showed us the main attractions on a map and told a bit about them. The breakfast was great. Room was nice and clean. Beachfront is perfect, too.

Einfach traumhaft! Die Lage direkt am Meer ist unschlagbar. Vom Zimmer aus hat man einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und sehr gemütlich. Der Standort ist perfekt, man ist in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum und gleichzeitig direkt am Strand. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wie jedes Jahr ! Absolutely fantastic! The location right by the sea is unbeatable – you can enjoy a breathtaking sea view straight from the room. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the center and right next to the beach. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back! Hotel owner and staff are incredibly friendly, the food is super delicious, and having a cappuccino in the morning with a sea view is just dreamy.

Amazing place and the owners are the best people we ever met. Our first dtay in Ischia was amazing thanks to them. We booked boat and rent scooter without setting a step outside. We'll be back for sure!
