Luigi and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts! We were fortunate enough to spend a few nights at this charming, family-run B&B during our travels through the Abruzzo region this summer. First, Pescocostanzo is stunning, and the central location of La Rua could not be better. ||The room was comfortable and well equipped with plenty of storage. Windows on two sides allowed us to enjoy the wonderful mountain air each night as we slept on the cozy bed. The town's borghi piu belli status is well deserved and the views out of the large windows felt like we were living in a fairytale. ||The most wonderful part of our entire stay was by far the breakfast each morning. On the first day my spouse enjoyed her tray of freshly baked pastries with a goat milk ricotta that was so fresh it was still warm. I have issues with dairy and the hosts were incredibly accommodating in providing other options, including plenty of fresh fruit. We hope to return again, perhaps for a ski vacation to enjoy the town in the winter season and would not hesitate to stay here on our next visit.

Pescocstaanzo is a beautiful town in Abruzzo, and this family run B&B an absolute gem. It's easy to see why it gets near perfect reviews - very centrally located, wonderful hosts Giuseppe and Luigi, terrific breakfasts (including Elisa's homemade cakes), and cmfortable rooms. We received a lot of good advice including rstaurants, excursions etc., despite the hosts speaking very little English and my Italian being rather rusty.|Just one suggestion - please look into the telecom network stability, when checking out the card POS machine timed out thrice after I swiped my card, and locked my PIN/card for further use, thankfully I had cash to settle payment.

Best place to stay, rooms were excellent, Luigi and Giovani treated use like family. Would recommend this place to stay for a refresh. Breakfast was excellent home made pastries. Nice small town to walk through and see the sights, could not ask for a better lace

I immediately felt comfortable in this homely and clean atmosphere.|Although I don't speak Italian, communication was easy. I was very well advised on hikes, excursions in the area and questions about the culture and nature of Abruzzo. And thanks to Elisa each day starts with a delicious breakfast with homemade local pastry. |Pescoconstanzo is a beautiful place full of history, great views, with good restaurants (Paolino!) and small shops with local delicacies.|

We've travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels and B&Bs throughout Italy, but when we arrived at B&B La Rua in the beautiful village of Pescocostanzo we knew immediately that this place was different. In this lovely family-run accommodation we were, ourselves, welcomed like family. Luigi took my husband off to find a secure place to park our car, while his brother Giuseppe and I set about mapping out a plan of what we might see and do over the next couple of days in this spectacular part of Abruzzo. Ten minutes in and we felt completely at home. Our room, with views down over the village, was sparkling clean, very quiet and extremely comfortable. La Rua itself is perfectly located, literally around the corner from the main square and only steps away from the best restaurant in town. A delicious breakfast including homemade jams, biscuits and cakes is a wonderful way to begin a day of exploring. Pescocostanzo is one of the prettiest villages we've visited and, like our hosts, the people there are warm and welcoming. The brothers' have lived in the village all their lives so you know their advice is based on experience. We spent two days discovering Pescostanzo itself as well as the lovely towns and lakes nearby but it wasn't nearly enough time. We can't wait to return to Abruzzo, Pescocostanzo and La Rua.

La Rua is a very special place!! I feel so lucky that we found it!!! The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, the breakfast is made by hand and with love every morning, and Giuseppe and Luigi go out of their ways to make sure your stay is memorable!! I can not wait to return to La Rua!! Pescoconstanza is a pearl of a town with beautiful views which we could see from our room!! There are fantastic bars and restaurants which were recommended by our hosts!! Luigi is a marvelous mountain guide and I had a spectacular day snowshoeing with him!! I could not recommend La Rua more!! Wonderful people, fantastic spot!! I miss it already!!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We selected B & B Garni on the strength of its reviews. We were not disappointed. Luigi and Giuseppe were terrific hosts. They were so helpful. They drove us to collect our luggage, organised a car park nearby, gave us restaurant recommendations, were very helpful with tips about a 20km trek we went on, chatted continuously in Italian with my wife, who appreciated their patience with her. The room was large and we had excellent views. Breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this lovely B & B and its really terrific hosts.

Stayed for one night during a trip through the area, wish I could have stayed longer. The owners are really friendly and helpful, we arrived late and they directed us a lovely, good value restaurant which was still serving food. The place is lovely with small alpine style rooms. Breakfast was amazing with freshly baked cakes and bread with good coffee. The town is charming and the overall experience was amazing. Would stay again, thoroughly recommend. Also ask about his fossil collection.
