La Ruka Hostel

This has been one of my favorite hostels. There are really affordable dorm rooms, which are kept clean daily. But what I loved about this place was all the outdoor space to hangout and socialize and meet new people. There’s a pool table, little couches to snuggle the cats on, a big outdoor kitchen, a smoke shack. It’s an easy walk to town but still away from the noise and a little more secluded in nature. I highly recommend staying here, the staff are all lovely and it was really easy to make new friends.

La Ruka Hostel was a wonderful place! Beautiful green spaces to hang out, several peta that are sweet and chill. The hostel staff and especially Viola made efforts to give me a wonderful stay and helped when I needed anything. They are definitely a must-stay. The location was also just far enough to be away from the town center chaos. I certainly recommend La Ruka hostel!

Well this Hostel is the first place I ever solo traveled 5 years ago. It’s a home far from home. If you want a safe place to dip your toes into backpacking culture and meet other kind travelers this is a place for you. The vibes are unbeatable, they keep the place clean and green with a nice kitchen in the back. Ownership/team are all kind and caring. I feel that only the most amazing people end up staying here if you stumble in enjoy the hammocks❤️

Feeling of home far away from home. Cool vibes, very social and clean. I returned back to home but still missing my time there. Everything is simply great there. Highly recommended !

Amazing Hostel! Staff was really kind and helped us organize everything. The kitchen was clean and hangout area spacious. I definitely recommend!

Great hostel! The location is perfect and they have good bike rentals. I loved being walking distance to both the town and beach. The rooms are comfortable. Fortunately it’s close enough to the ocean that it cools down well at night.

Nice hostel a little outside of the town. Enjoyed my stay here but if you’re wanting a more social environment there’s maybe better options in the centre.
