These are the best galettes and crêpes that I've ever had. This restaurant has a very inventive menu, and it was really hard to choose only one dish. They also serve their galettes with a ketchup/wasabi ice cream, which was a special thing to try. The dry and the sweet apple cider were perfect and a must-try in Brittany. The restaurant transforms its dishes into a fine dining experience, and I would definitely return.

Best galette I have had (I had the Baby George), nice touch with the ice cream too. Nice vibe and atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a big stroller with us and the gentleman on the front desk helped us down the steps. Google score is a true reflection of this place. Highly recommend 👌

Very nice and cozy venue. Upscale restaurant. Loved the crepes, great sauce on the ham, egg, and cheese one. Delicious dessert crepes as well, the meringue was very tasty. Good wine selection. Fast service.

A really great creperie - good food and unusual decor that really enhances the experience. They were very happy to make any of the gallettes without meat for the two vegetarians in our group.

The best crepes and galettes in Rennes! A friend recommended this place to me and everything I ordered was delicious. Beautiful restaurant and very friendly staff. My favorite was the crepe filled with apple and fresh cream on the side.

Tasted very good, good deal with the formule for lunch, nice atmosphere in the old building and kind staff that was patient with my French & made the galette vegetarian. Would have loved to give five stars but there was one thing I wasn't sure how to communicate and would have like to send you a private message, but there is no contact information to send one to, so here: the top of the glass bottle for the tap water seemed to be broken, but I only noticed after drinking a glass of the water with what looked like tiny pieces in it. The top of the bottle was not smooth, more uneven like broken or chipped glass. So perhaps check that please to avoid next time.

Yelp
The headline for my review of La Saint George is "This is a super place for fancy crepes!". I am cleaning up some review drafts I started before COVID hit. I visited La Saint George's pre-pandemic while on a business trip to Rennes. I totally enjoyed myself and my meal. The atmosphere was classy for a crepe joint, but probably only average classy ... by French standards. La Saint George was busy on my visit and seemed like a place the locals visited frequently. The cuisine & menu is all about the crepes. The restaurant had French and English menus. My party of 2 Americans and 1 Canadian went for some crepes that were cheeseburger themed. There were cute names for all the crepes. We ordered some cider to go with our meal which was dry and delicious. We had salted caramel dessert crepes that were perfect. The service was exceptional, and the price and value received more than fair. I totally recommend La Saint George and would be happy to eat here again. Bon appetite.

Yelp
One of the best creperies in Rennes, and it's very upscale compared to your tradition crepe place. Of course, that means the prices are upscale too. But the offerings are wonderfully creative--I had the salmon crepe and it was extremely satisfying. The menu is surprisingly witty--every dish is named after a "George," so you can order a "George Washington," a "George Benson," a "George Sand," and even a "Boy George." The staff was excellent and happily conversed in English. For a memorable night out in Rennes, this is a great option.

Yelp
The name comes up often when asking locals about the best crêperie in Rennes. To be honest, the place is a little too trendy-looking for me. Lots of velvet and funky lamps made this place seem like a nightclub/lounge better found in New York City, not in Rennes. I will admit, all of these things made me hesitate when I walked in. However, their selection of galettes was truly unique. This would be my last galette in Rennes, and I had to make it count. Enter Le Giorgio Armani. Four pieces of magret de canard topped with foie gras and a bit of caramelized apple. It was around 17€ and the most expensive thing on the menu. But it was well worth it. I couldn't believe I had four pieces of magret de canard in addition to foie gras. It was like I'd died and gone to heaven. It took me forever to eat because I couldn't stop "Mmmmm" ing and "ooooooh yummmmmm" ing. If you are looking to splurge, this is what you should get. The previous reviewer complained of dry, cold galettes. I didn't have the same experience at all. For dessert, I ordered a speculoos ice cream and Nutella crêpe. It came with a piece of hazelnut chocolate with a flag of Brittany sticking out of it (nice touch!). I loved the speculoos ice cream, but the Nutella crêpe was not particularly noteworthy. Or maybe my expectations were just too high after my galette. Don't come here unless you want something unusual. This was a perfect last crêperie for my time in France.

Yelp
Good food, had a great Caesar salad here. Great location and outlook. The staff are great and the decor is very modern vintage and the place has a great feel. Food it not too expensive and neither are the drinks. A great place to sit and watch the world go by.
