La Sala de Laura

Drinks were fantastic. Surprise tarot card with drink and ingredients from Colombia I’ve never heard of were a delight. Food was good but did not stand out like the drinks. King mushroom dish was very good. Vibe and service were superb!

I did the tasting menu + cocktail pairing here and it was amazing. The staff went above and beyond. I was a solo female traveler and felt completely comfortable my entire visit at La Sala de Laura. I tried things I wouldn’t have otherwise tried, and I liked everything except one thing. Just go!

Be sure to count your drinks and VERIFY the check!!!! We came here straight from the airport to make our reservation, and had a few welcome cocktails. They were very creative, although only one was truly palatable. We wound up enjoying their classic cocktails the most. We had a great kickoff to our weekend in Bógota — until the bill came. They charged us for several drinks we’d never ordered or consumed. When we asked about it, the manager told us he trusts his staff but would reduce the bill as a favor, then kept on adding additional gratuity. We insisted they roll the security cameras to count our drinks. Apparently they aren’t working? Because he refused to do a manual audit of our consumption when pressed. Eventually we paid for what we ordered (seems fair) and chose not to add gratuity. Very sad end to what had started out as a fantastic welcome to a new city, and a bar I was really looking forward to trying. And frankly pretty embarrassing for a bar of this supposed caliber. Ultimately the DJ was the highlight and it turns out the super nice bartenders aren’t so nice. The niceness and the miscount may have had something to do with their pupil size and erratic energy though, something we noted early on. I would avoid.

We had dinner with a cocktail pairing at Laura’s, and it was a fantastic experience. The concept was both creative and beautifully executed. The connection between the birds and the drinks was thoughtfully crafted and complemented the food beautifully. The service was attentive, warm and highly professional. A perfect night!

Amazing experience. Everything was great, the food, the cocktails, the service. We took the 6-course menu with cocktail pairing and it was so worth it. Each dish was tasty and well presented. The waitress explained each dish and its matching cocktail to the detail, which made you look forward to hearing about the next one coming. Totally recommend it!

Absolutely blown away by this place! Their cocktail pairing with food is next-level. Each cocktail was crafted with incredible depth of flavor, perfectly highlighting local ingredients. You can taste the creativity and passion in every sip. The food? Equally amazing—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and just bursting with flavor. Together, the food and cocktails created a dining experience like no other. If I could give 11/10, I would. This is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food and even better drinks!

Had a really great a la carte lunch here, everything was on point. It's a bit oddly expensive given the price point of El Chato, Humo Negro, etc, but I would still say a visit is worth it. I think the non alcoholic cocktails don't really live up to the alcoholic cocktail reputation (I would not bother, to be honest).

The staff is attentive and runs around but is also quite forgetful and unable to respond to normal customer requests. For a request to sample a spirit before ordering a shot, it took 2 waiters who forgot, 1 who was unsure and 1 manager, who came to tell me they don't do tastes. It also took 3 waiters to get my check. The food sounds interesting but is quite mediocre. Drinks are fairly interesting.
