I chose this restaurant about 2 months ago when I knew i was going to be in Sitges a couple of nights in November. Having looked at the reviews on Google and Tripadvisor it appeared to be worth a visit. We arrived my partner and I 8.15 on the dot the time of our reservation. We were the first to arrive. Atmosphere non existent with the 2 on duty waiters in a grumpy mood. Ordering was not a straightforward issue with both waiters having a smug attitude as though they had to correct everything I said or asked for. Everything I said or ordered was in some way or other to be corrected by the two waiters it was annoying. We started with the spinach caneloni to share and although the sauce was relatively hot the actual caneloni wasn't and you could tell the it had been reheated probably from lunchtime.
For mains my wife ordered a vegetarian dish of mashed sweet potatoe with pomegranate and baby lettuce leaves. I'd give it a 4 out of ten ! I went for the paella for one which included 4 very small and dried out what appeared to be rock mussels and 2 dried out langostines. The rice itself was tasty although its only ingredient was rice and the dish also appeared to be and tasted like it had been made at lunch time and had been recasitated for our evening meal. I asked if they had any alioli to which I was told that normally it went with black rice which I thought made no sence and really if I want alioli with paella that should not be questioned. Anyway when you are used to eating a paella " recien echa " just made it difficult to eat one at least 5 hours old. I ate it and it was OK!
For dessert we tried what was the creation of the chef called exotica which had a hint of ginger and curry mango and pineapple puree with some kind of cream on top. Strange but surprisingly tasty. Bread and Garnacha ordered and enjoyed.
Overall not an enjoyable experience and although the food was of a decent level although it did not appear to be freshly made any real enjoyment which you normally get from dining out in a restaurant was somewhat spoilt by the 2 waiters on duty whose dead pan I know more than you attitude helped to make it an unmemorable dining experience ! Never mind !

El dia siguiente. Acabo de leer vuestra contestacion sobre la " review " que hize sobre la salseta y tengo que deciros que aunque todos tenemos nuestros opiniones os tengo que decir que con mis 71 anos se identificar una paella recien echa y lo dizes sobre los mejillones y langostinos no estaban recien echos porque no se quedarian tan secas. Por ultimo sobre la tema de los camareros siendo los duenos casi lo sabia por la forma de ser y como nos trataron como clientes casi como aqui vienen dos "giris" que saben poco de la gastronomia y no tenemos que esforzarnos ! Pues siendo los duenos tenian que valuar todos los clientes que pasan por sus puertas especialmente en estos tiempos y no tratar unos mejor que otros. Casi olvide mensionar los canelones que como dije aunque la salsa estaba caliente el canelono que solo era uno largo entre dos personas no estaba caliente aunque hay que decir estaba rico. Y tampoco no dije nada de que los canelones estaban picantes y el sabor era lo que me gusto mas de los canelones !

Michelin Guide must find and rate this restaurant. It is Big Gourmand! Much more better than Sitges “populer” places and delicious. Price quality ratio is top. I like what we tasted! Especially Ceviche, Octopus, Squid, Clams, lamb…

One of the BEST meals I have ever had in Sitges. Owned by a 3 Generation Family from Sitges that take pride in what they do.
The food is KM 0 (which means they get their ingredients from as close as possible). Also do not expect the typical meal you find in most restaurants. The meals are unique, healthy and delicious. A must go and return!

This restaurant offers very delicious Spanish food and a big variety of local wines. The service is very friendly and helped us decide what to eat and drink. We ordered paella for four persons, and everyone was pleased with this delicious Spanish dish. We also had a bottle of local produced red wine, which was a very good choice and matched with paella. I would highly recommend you visit this place.

Genuinely think this is one of the best places I've eaten in the past year? The dishes aren't complex, but every element was executed incredibly well. Dishes aren't cheap, but they also aren't expensive for the quality you get. Flavour combinations are chosen and balanced carefully. Service is friendly and knowledgeable! And space is very pleasant. Strongly recommend.

Salseta is simply the restaurant I prefer in Sitges. Each stay we go several times. Everything is perfect. Food and quality of the products are exceptional. Service is fluid, discreet and very professional..and smily. Ambiance is charming, Price is very fair with all that said. I'll repeat Salseta again and again.
