Wonderful B&B in beautiful quiet location. Lovely decoration. Excellent shower & bed. Great breakfast with sweet & savory options. The owners recently opened the Les Grange restaurant & wine boutique just round the corner. Excellent dinner. Perfect stay all round

Such a wonderful stay at this lovely bnb! We were in Sauternes in March and so happy that we were able to stay at Didier and Pascale’s place. They were so kind and we really felt like this was a treat to stay. The bed was so comfortable, we had the room with the habbam which was so nice, and the breakfast was lovely. Pascale sent all the check in instructions to me the day of and these were very easy to follow, as well as suggestions for dinner. We can’t wait to return and stay here again!

The location, the room, the bed and the breakfast were all excellent; and we enjoyed picnicking on the terrace in the evening. |If you are a light sleeper, do ask for a room in which the smoke detector does not light up frequently during the night.

Just a one-night stay but would have enjoyed longer. The self-check in instructions arrived on the day and were clear and easy to follow. We’d been allocated room 2 on the first floor. Large, nicely furnished and with a view over the garden it was quiet and very comfortable. The building is centrally located in the village of Sauternes and is charming. Particularly good in-room bathroom (partitioned with glass). Breakfast was served in the small dining room by co-owner Didier and was more than adequate. We met some really interesting other guests over breakfast before hitting the road again, reluctantly. Very good value. Eat dinner at the Auberge des Vignes across the road.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean, with a fantastic shower and very comfortable bed with high quality linen. The breakfast the next day was also fantastic - again full of high quality goods. Easy communication with the hosts. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Just had 2 nights stay here, wish we could have stayed a lot longer. Pascale and Didier made us feel very welcome, great hosts. Our room was amazing with a wonderful steam shower room. Great after a hard day's cycling. We had both savoury and sweet options for breakfast, sat in the courtyard. Soaking up the village atmosphere of Sauternes village must be done, great atmosphere and really typically French. So relaxing. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely B&B in the heart of Sauternes. Closed when arrived but quickly replied to text with codes for entry, requests about what we would like for breakfast etc. Very nice comfortable room with kettle etc. Breakfast in the stylish breakfast room (we could also have eaten outside) was typical French - croissant, bread, jam and coffee. Cave de vin directly opposite to buy Sauternes wine and selection of restaurants nearby. We were only there for one night but would Recommend.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful small village amongst the vineyards! Everything was perfect with very clean and comfortable rooms, lovely decor & additional touches that are always welcome. We enjoyed an ample and tasty breakfast in the garden and received lots of very helpful information from our warm & friendly host. La Sauternaise is very good value and it comes highly recommended by us :)
