La Scibina

Our apartment was very spacious, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, with good sized living space. Balconies on ground and first floor and very good air conditioning. Breakfast was great with local home produced offerings. The pool is immaculately clean. Beach and Restaurants all walkable. All the staff were delightful and extremely helpful.

We returned to La Scibina in 2024 with 2 kids after having been there in 2015 before our first kid was born. ||The property remains in perfect condition inside the rooms and in the common areas. The rooms are amazing for families with eqch bedroom having an en-suite bathroom. ||All rooms now have smart TV and the WiFi is decent speed. ||Breakfast and pool service very friendly and accommodating. The staff speaks perfect English. ||The property has a secure on site parking and is just 10 minutes to a nice beach club. ||All in all highly recommended.

We stayed at La Scibina at the end of September 2024. Our self catering accommodation was very good with a terrace to sit outside. The pool was excellent and cleaned each day. My wife had an accident in Marina di Regusa and the staff were absolutely brilliant in helping us out, including arranging an ambulance to the hospital. A member of staff from the hotel came with us and provided invaluable assistance as our Italian is limited. They then helped us out with accommodation until we could return to the UK. The staff were always very friendly and provided advice on places to visit and whilst my wife was recuperating helped with everything we needed. We would thoroughly recommend La Scibina and will definitely return in the future.

We were a group of 16 spread across the beautifully appointed flexible accommodation. From the minute we arrived we were so well looked after. We had requested La Scibina to provide a set meal for two of our evenings. So delightful to be by the pool area in the evening served superb local delicacies. Being able to use their BBQ was also so easy and relaxing with the apartments kitchens providing what was needed to knock up a few salads. The staff were all so helpful with advice about local trips.The beach and town and easy stroll away. We all agreed that we would love to return. PS. The mattresses were very comfortable!

The most delightful place to stay, set in beautiful garden and kitchen garden, the accommodation is perfect, comfortable, spacious serviced apartments contain everything you could possibly need for self catering, although breakfast and lunch will be provided in the small restaurant/courtyard if desired. There is also snacks, hot and cold drinks and ice creams available at the pool bar daily. |The owner and staff truly cannot do enough for you, we missed this level of service and hospitality after we moved on to Taormina. |The pool area is spacious with plenty of loungers and seating with covered areas should you need. |Set back in a residential road, it’s only a 10 min. walk to nearest beach and closest restaurants and twenty min. walk along the front to the main square of Maria Di Ragusa, were you’ll find a selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, sights, bus terminal and bank. |This is an ideal place to stay to visit Ragus, Modica, Donnafugata Castle, Punta Secca and Syracuse.|We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

We, 2 adults and 2 kids (2,5 years old) stayed at this lovely place. Very good maintained facility with a large pool as well kids-friendly pool, spacious playground, pool bar, herbs garden. Facility is surrounded by a wall, so kids can not run away. ;-) Very nice and typical breakfast. The rooms are very spacious with a terrace and see view from a balcony. High standard in the rooms. Beach is only 10 minutes walk (when you have kids). Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in the self catering apartment with 2 terraces - one with a sea and pool view. This gave us additional flexibility. The hotel breakfasts were very good, the pool was a good size and well maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little walk from the bars and restaurants of Marina da Ragusa but it was a pleasant walk. I would happily stay there again.

Last month we spent 6 nights in this small boutique property, situated in a quiet residential spot less than 10 minutes walk from the coast. Thanks to the perfect service of all the staff especially Roberto we had a very relaxing time. We were upgraded to a duplex apartment style accommodation which had a small kitchen with dining area and sofa onto a terrace. Upstairs the bedroom was very spacious with a balcony with a distant sea view. Both floors had shower rooms. ||We had continental breakfast included which was served in the courtyard and local delicacies were served most days. ||The Pool and the beautiful surrounding gardens were a delight.|| If ever back in this area of Sicily we would certainly love to return.
