La Segunda Bakery and Cafe is one of our go-to spots for breakfast, and it never disappoints. You can never go wrong with the classic combo of Cuban toast and a café con leche; comforting, flavorful, and always made just right! The breakfast sandwiches are another solid choice…hearty, fresh, and perfect for starting the day off right. Whether we’re ordering in for the office or grabbing something quick, La Segunda always delivers quality and flavor. A true Tampa gem!

This place was way better than the one in Ybor. Fresh food and very filling. Parking was not a problem. Coffee wasn’t sweet from the caramel which is a good thing since I had a sweet pastry.

Superb experience here! Came for lunch with the company and was impressed. Cuban sandwich was excellent. All of their baked goods look irresistible, but I will highlight their Guava and Cheese. Will be back!

I ordered what I thought was a cuban sandwich. It was not pressed. It had salami and honey mustard! Cubans don’t put salami and honey mustard. It fell apart while i was eating it. Maybe these people need to go to Miami and learn how a cuban sandwich is made and how to properly press a sandwich. I paid $23 that’s with tip and it was not worth my money.

I try not to give five stars unless it's a mouth waterer. This my friends, this place and all their locations keep me satisfied and coming back with no regrets. The Mojo Chicken is my favorite with a Guava Cheese Danish to top it off and I'm in heaven!

I recently came here for breakfast. Here’s what I thought. Atmosphere: The bakery is simply decorated with odes to its original location in Ybor. When you enter, on the left you can order food to go or dine in. On the right side, they have a coffee bar where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. They also have an area where you can pick up any food delivered. They also have a nice outdoor covered seating area. Restroom: They have a single stall bathroom. I didn’t check it out while I was there. Service: Everyone I encountered was super friendly! Food: I ordered a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese. It was freshly made on Cuban bread. It was sooo good. I also got a cappuccino which was delicious! They also have a display case where you can buy fresh pastries and Cuban bread! La Segunda is a great place to come for an affordable, quick and delicious breakfast or lunch. If they were on the way to work, I’d stop in here for coffee! I’ll definitely be back. Horrible food/coffee and highly unorganized staff. Asked for two double espressos and received two half-filled cups of regular coffee which had an undrinkable amount of sugar, and one cup even had some kind of creamer (which I didn't ask for). We also order two pastries, which were extremely dry and cold, tasted like cardboard.

My sister requested La Segunda for their Cuban sandwich, and it was a good choice. Usually, while in Tampa, I would go to Alisia bakery.
