La Seine Café

Decent place but way too hot inside during the summer. There was a fan inside but it was pointed at the staff behind the bar, which is fair enough as they're the ones working but they could've set up another one for clients... As we left, someone who had drunk too much didn't make it to the toilet and ended up throwing up on my friend... A waitress was kind enough to help him get cleaned up as best as possible. But another waiter assumed my other friend was running away from the bar to get away without paying although he was running away from the guy throwing up. He then accused my friend of being a thief although he had just paid. I confronted him and he didn't think wrongly accusing a client of being a thief was a big deal. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, just a bad apple I suppose.

I highly recommend this place! We hosted an afterwork gathering for 40 people, and everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was great. The music was fantastic, and the food was delicious—especially the burgers and chicken finger foods. It was the ideal spot for our group to enjoy the evening.

Ok atmosphere of a local bar. We had a charcuterie board and fries, nothing great nothing bad. Servers were friendly and efficient. Average but ok local bar.

Went here for beers on my birthday and had the best time! The people are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and fun, the beers on tap are interesting and delicious, and Horace (one of the owners) is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! Will be back the next time I’m in Paris!

We were drawn in to Horace’s bar by the cool atmosphere and were welcomed so kindly by other patrons and Horace himself! They said it’s the best bar in Paris and it’s true! We had a wonderful time and will certainly return and recommend to all! Enchanting!

This was our favorite brasserie near La Bastille. Located across from the canal and a beautiful park, the service, drinks, and food were excellent. Very fresh ingredients! They also accommodated our twin toddlers very well for a late lunch. We will be regulars on our visits to Paris.
