La Serrurerie

Another hidden gem, recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Behind the unassuming facade is a vibrant restaurant with a beautiful atrium. Food was delicious and plentiful. The café gourmand was a treat and more. Definitely will revisit.

It was amazing 😍 I loved "Oeuf cocotte" along with the "Ceviche de bar", it was so Yammy. The person who welcomed us was so nice and made sure we were will served. If you ever go to Poitiers, it's the address to go to.

A great and decent cafe/restaurant. In the week you can get a nice breakfast or a pain au chocolate & coffee. At weekends the pastries are not around. All week in the daytime there's a very good selection of beers, wines and spirits, oh and soft drinks, milk shakes, teas and coffees. In the evening, from 19:00, it becomes a wonderful eatery with a very full menu. It's busy, but the service doesn't suffer. The prices are decent for city centre. Staff are friendly. Couldn't ask for better.

Incredible culinary craftsmanship. The chef clearly puts thought and passion into each plate. Perfect for date night or special occasions.

We loved this place, we had a Poulet Noir and à Parmentier Boeuf Bourguignon and they were both verry good. The prices were very reasonable. Considering the fact the restaurant was packed for lunch, the service was prompt and very polite. The interior decor gave it a cachet of the mid 1950s, warm and pleasant. I recommend it.

Visited as a group of 8, made a reservation earlier on in the day due to the party size. Imagine smaller groups/couples could also walk in without reservations. Food and service were excellent and there were options on the menu to suit some dietary requirements (vegetarians). Atmosphere and decor inside was good as well.

Phenomenal! The service was absolutely fantastic-quick service, staff friendly and cheerful. Food was so so delicious-best dinner we had throughout our stay in Poitiers. Bustling atmosphere.

A very cool place in downtown Poitiers for coffee, tea, wine and beer and casual dining. Chalkboard menu, a glass ceiling in the back, a wall filled with vintage and brocante items of all sorts in wall filling display cases. A one of a kind place, very French. Fun to be in and enjoy a drink and/or something to eat.

Amazing place, I went here multiple times while I was on my exchange year and I loved the food each time.

Excellent choice for a snack! Carafe of wine and escargots! Also had the Foie Gras to share. Very delicious. Service was good too. Definitely would stop in again.

Overrated - so-called fish and chips: fish was inedible, chips were fine. Nice service.

Great food, great service, and right by the city centre! I love this place!
