La Sosta Restaurant

If I could give a 6 star, I would. We recently dined at La Sosta for their Italian-inspired fine dining course, and all I can say is—WOW. It was truly one of the most memorable food experiences I've had so far. As someone who deeply appreciates good food, this is a meal I'll be talking about for a long time. The service was impeccable; the staff were not only attentive but also highly knowledgeable. It's very clear that the chefs are masters of their craft. Their flavor pairings were unique and inventive with clean, honest flavors, really reflecting their passion for what they do. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, creating a romantic and charming atmosphere. We will most certainly be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

Nothing special. Just a place to spend the night. Owner never bothered to make an appearance. Breakfast server friendly. Breakfast average at best. Room blah without design appeal or comforts. I would not stay there again. Overpriced for the product.

What is great place to stay with a fantastic kitchen and amazing staff. Worth a weekend trip to enjoy the lovely hospitality and great service of front of house staff. The kitchen is great, a very well executed modern take on Italian food, delicious and top notch fresh pasta (will be hard to find any better in the cape). If you stay the night you can look forward to a fantastic breakfast. 100% recommendation with very good value for money.

Truly a hidden gem, the food, wines & atmosphere are just incredible! with the friendly staff makes for a perfect dinner place! (Go with the wine pairing!)

La Sosta really is an unmissable place. Our room was spacious, nicely decoraded, with a king size bed and very well appointed. It was in a quiet position, with a veranda facing the garden behind the main house.|Dinner was exceptional, from the home baked sourdough bread with fig oil & butter, fantastic beef carpaccio to capeletti - star quality!|We chose the scambled eggs on toast for breakfast & it was masterfully done - I would love to take a class with this masterchef!|Thanks also to Karel for his attentive service.|We will have to make more stopovers at la Sosta in the future!

On arrival, the location of reception is not immediately obvious. The rooms are clean, neat, private and adequately laid out.

Beautiful food, friendly service, great wine. Very knowledgeable staff. 10/10 all around
