La Stella Italienische Apericafè - Gastroshop

A friend showed me this place after visiting the Albertina. As he said, after something elevated, you need to ground yourself a bit. It’s an Italian fast food spot, and there’s always a line. The place is small, so the queue often extends outside. Here, you can try different types of focaccia and other Italian dishes, both sweet and savory. Focaccia was amazing. It’s one of the few places I visited twice during my trip. Try it and discover something new!

Such an underrated spot - amazing paninis with excellent ingredients! Prices are also very attractive. Italian ambience, nothing is rushed - just enjoy the good quality that you get.

Amazing sandwiches! Made me want to move to Vienna just to frequent this store. A great spot to grab lunch before a walking tour.

The sandwiches (panino) are really really good. If you want paninos with good, high quality Italian meat, then this is the place to go. Also, it is open on Sundays so another big plus.

That’s great place to buy Italian cheese and sausages, or pastry, or just to have a drink with some sausage plate. They have Few tables outside

La Stella is an authentic Italian shop with a wonderful selection of gourmet dishes and groceries. The pastries are delicious and the espresso is top-notch. A great place to enjoy a little taste of Italy and pick up some quality ingredients!

Amazing stuff here! We always go for the focaccia sandwich. They are hot and filled beautifully with different cheeses, cured meats and vegetables. Waiting times, despite the queue, are not that long and service is friendly. If you didn’t come here yet: What are you doing???
