La Sucursal Hostel

Absolutely fantastic hostel. If you are in Cali, this is the best hostel over the board. They organize amazing activities and the hostel is very social. The beds are nice, with my only point of feedback being that a wall would be nice to separate the bunk beds in between. The staff is extremely helpful and open, as well as the volunteers. The private salsa classes from Antonio were also perfect! And just… so many more things I haven’t talked about. Thank you for making our time in Cali so wonderful❤️

Previous review: I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience at this hostel. While staying here, my belongings were stolen directly from a locker in my room. Even after filing police reports and repeatedly reaching out to the staff, the hostel has done absolutely nothing to support me or address the situation. Basic security and guest safety should be the minimum expectation when booking accommodation, but unfortunately this hostel failed on both fronts. The lack of accountability and complete disregard for helping guests after such a serious incident is unacceptable. If you are considering staying here, please think twice. Colombia has many other hostels that prioritize guest safety and take responsibility when things go wrong—this one is not among them’ In addition to this it is worth mentioning the volunteer staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful with translating & generally the hostel is a great vibe. We just had a very sad experience here, unfortunately.

Best hostel in Cali! Very social but still chill. The kitchen is spacious and clean but what really stood out were the volunteers! Special shout out to Kirsten, Luis, Grainne, Brooke, Yona and Nita :)

Amazing hostel in Cali, perfect vibe and location! This hostel was one of our favorites during our trip! The location is perfect, in a safe neighborhood and just a short walk from Calle del Sabor, where the street parties on Fridays and Saturdays are incredible. They offer free salsa classes every day, and they’re honestly really good, a great way to learn and meet people. The atmosphere is amazing: the hostel organizes something every evening, from small get-togethers to bigger nights out. We even went clubbing with the manager at La Pergola, the biggest club in Cali, it was unforgettable! The place is clean, spacious, and airy, with a great layout that makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and there’s a great sense of community. It’s the kind of place where you arrive for a few nights and end up wanting to stay much longer. The food is delicious, the beers are cold, and the cocktails are great. We absolutely loved our time here and would recommend it to anyone coming to Cali!

I really enjoyed my stay, the vibes were amazing, the place clean, its really social and in a nice area! the volunteers are amazing, especially kirsten and luis!
