La Suite

The hotel's view is spectacular, and then it is very private. Bedrooms are facing the sea and decorated in colors with characteristic perfumes. That raises a fantastic and quite romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples wanting to share special moments. Breakfast was excellent and was served in the room. Also, the pool is stunning with its infinite board. Still, the water gets a little bit cold in the afternoon, when the sun isn't on it. Therefore, a warming system would be welcome. The facilities are rustic and fashionable. However, they need maintenance since, in our bedroom, we noticed the curtains were musty, and the floor woods were worn out. We had dinner on the rooftop, and it was remarkable. We ordered the tasting menu, and the food was excellent and in the right amount. The service is on-demand and works well. The staff is very receptive. Nevertheless, for a five-star review, they have to sort out the issues above.

A beautiful view overlooking the ocean, good food and spacious rooms. It’s perfect. The checkin process was very smooth, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great stay, even booked an extra night.

Excellent experience at La Suite, my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We were greeted by Daniel, who was a very warm host and provided us with two excellent caipirinhas as welcome drinks. The setup itself is amazing- it’s like staying at your own private mansion with amazing views. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service phenomenal. Pro tip: ask for your breakfast to be served as a “floating breakfast” in the pool. They put it in a floater and it makes for amazing photos! (Doesn’t cost extra). Staff is phenomenal and amenities are very nice. Fair warning is that it’s a little off the beaten, but that is perfect if you are truly looking to “get away”.

Really enjoyed my 4 days here. The view is incredible and the property is well kept. While you feel away from the city, it's still an easy Uber ride away. The team makes you feel like you're their only guest. The food is great with a variety of fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back again.

I had a great stay at La Suite overall. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the view is just sensational. The pool was enjoyable! Although our room was huge and had an amazing view, some parts needed renovation and a deep clean.

Lord!! This freakin place is a destination itself. We loved the place, their hopitality, location, food, and comforts so badly that our group of six want to go back to Rio again and do nothing but stay at this place to totally relax and walk to nearby Joatinga beach which is another gem of a place. Don't miss the sunrise if you are staying here. Oh my!!! What a breakfast they serve. Tropical fruit heaven!!! I enjoyed Sweet Apple after almost 20 years.

Marvelous place , iconic views , superb cuisine and a crew always willing to make your stay an unique experience. Perfect place to celebrate special occasions.

Amazing hotel. Eclipses any of the ones we stayed in in Copacabana or Ipanema. Staff very friendly, great rooms and beautiful pool. They let us have breakfast on the heli pad one morning. You get the piece and quiet of Joa with all the main attractions of rio only a 20 minute uber ride away.
