We stayed here on our last night in Martinique/ St Lucia. Fodor's Choice. Outstanding food...FABULOUS "fine dining" breakfast. They were very accommodating when we decided to get their breakfast in-room, same day. The concierge was also extremely professional and helpful.|Best food of our stay on balance.

Beautiful room with jacuzzi on balcony and far reaching views across the bay. The kind owner gave us a lift to our mangrove tour and picked us up, when we realised it was further than thought. Excellent service from everyone, beautiful breakfast and suppers , especially good in the gourmet restaurant.||Travellers should be aware that this is a significant distance from Trois Islets village and local cabs are not available. However there are really good facilities within walking distance at Pointe du Bout, where there is a large marina, extensive beaches, shops and restaurants. Divers can dive off a large boat from here rather than a rib.

We stayed at La Suite Villa for three nights during our honeymoon, using it as a home base as we explored the island's distilleries and nature. The hotel was perfect - it was very clean, well maintained, and had excellent views of the bay. We loved the private hot tub and the restaurant downstairs - some of the best food we had on our trip! Highly recommend.

After having reserved a table by phone and indicated that we would bring a small dog, we were blocked entry by the head waiter who insisted that the size of our beagle puppy would be 'too big'. He insisted this rule was for the benefit of all other guests, which there were only one at a far table. This was unfortunate as the restaurant looked nice and the rest of the staff was very welcoming. Apparently it was only the waiter how did not understand his job depends on client revenue. So we took our money elsewhere...

La suite villa is a lovely little French boutique hotel. It’s got a lot of art and colour. Brings everything alive. The interior is very chic and modern. Our room was the ocean view king room with a beautiful jacuzzi bath out in the balcony. It was the highlight for us especially in the evenings as we would have some wine looking into the distance fort de France and the city lights soaking up the views of the bay and a salty bubbling warm water. It was very relaxing and super chilled after a day of touring the city. Staff were polite and friendly. The hotel doesn’t have a lift so if you have a very heavy bag or suitcase and you are upstairs, it’s difficult to navigate weight as the stairs are spiral as well and if not careful, it could be dangerous sometimes. The rooms all have a little quirky name and all look different and pretty. They are cosy and small. Our room was the marshmallows and we were greeted with some as well. There were a few issues with our room though. The phone was broken so we couldn’t call reception or reach staff. They changed it the next day. The reception staff are not there after 7pm so if you have an issue with your room, it’s the restaurant staff that help. And nothing can be done until the following day. Water in the coffee machine had algae in it which was totally disgusting and I had to wash it to use The panels around the bed were broken. But what ruined our stay there was the horrible stench that enveloped our lives coming from the shower sewage each day. Oh my God, it smelt so so bad. Though we reported it, it never got fixed and for the amount of money we paid for 4 nights, all we did was spray the room with air freshener and stay away a lot. It was a disaster. So I wasn’t pleased for spending £1600 excluding meals on a pretty room that stank each night for 4 nights and my partner and I were disgusted. The restaurant food was lovely but very tiny portions and was super overpriced- too overpriced that it didn’t make sense. I spent more money in the hotel than I would spend in a 4 star hotel in London. Bar experience was good too but again over priced. I am sure other customers had a good stay but we didn’t as if the room smell was sorted out, we wouldn’t have minded paying what we did for our stay. Oh and also you need a car if staying there to get about town. But overall pretty lovely ambience and great views.

I really appreciated the friendly service at La Suite Villa. All the staff were helpful and professional. The cook at breakfast was great. |I also enjoyed the calm here(very loud garden maintenance aside!).|The restaurant is very good and you can ask for more child friendly suggestions.|We had a villa and the bedrooms and bathroom/shower rooms were great but the kitchen/living area inside was cold and uncomfortable with vinyl covered chairs(hot weather and vinyl seats?!). It looked quite cheap. I felt there should have been some more thought put into this considering the establishment has 5 stars.|The timing of cleaning of the rooms and other maintenance was badly coordinated, we were out for easily half the time, nearly every day we were disturbed by gardening(electric hedge trimmers)or cleaning. |The hotel is in a residential area so you are overlooked by a taller apartment building. I was expecting to be surrounded by more nature. There was no view from the villa but the view from the restaurant is very nice, see photos.|We enjoyed our stay but I would probably rate this maximum as a 4 star.|

We arrived to stay for a night since we were due to fly from FDF the following day, and did not want to drive across the island early in the morning (curvy dark roads on the side of mountains, doesn't sound like fun at 6 am!). ||||This is a very hip resort set high up on a hill, with a fantastic main house and view of the town and water off in the distance. Service is very European, friendly, and prompt. Check in was easy. While we were there the facility seemed fairly empty, but it was in March, so it could be slow. ||||We rented a small 2 bedroom (T3) villa, which was super-cool. Nice kitchen and sitting area, dining table outside, good sized fridge, and the bedrooms both had very nice private bathrooms, so if you are staying with another couple you still have a lot of privacy. Plus, the villa had its own hot tub, which was super cool. ||||Only downside during our stay was the facility had no running water. At all. No shower, no flushing of the toilets, nothing. This was not the Villa's fault, apparently it happens in the city from time to time but normally only lasts for a couple of hours. For us, unfortunately, it was our entire stay. The hotel provided free jugs of bottled water, but we had to schlep them down to the villas ourselves. It would have been nice if they brought them down for us.

La Suite Villa was a cute, colorful, and fun place to stay while in Martinique. Our room was adorable and there was a hot tub on the patio with a view overlooking the bay which we used several times. Everyone who works here was really nice and helpful. The restaurant is decorated in a super fun and artsy way. We thought the food itself was good but not great. Overall I would definitely recommend this place!
