La Susana is truly a beautiful experience from start to finish. The beachfront location in José Ignacio creates a stunning and relaxing atmosphere, especially at sunset. The setting is stylish yet comfortable, with great music and a warm vibe. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the seafood and grilled dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a classy evening with friends. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

Perfect place for get together with friends. You will be seated in a table on the beach, so he prepared to have sand on you feet. They have quite good sushia and asados, and a fair wine list with great offering of VIK wines

I had wanted to visit this place for a long time because it has a very good reputation, but unfortunately my experience did not live up to the hype. To begin with, they were unable to serve a simple tomato salad as a side dish, even though tomato salad is listed on the menu. That was surprising. The waiter offered bread a second time, we said yes, but it was never brought to the table. We also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice. When we asked if it was freshly squeezed, we were told yes, but later it turned out it had been made earlier in the day. As everyone knows, orange juice should be freshly squeezed at the moment of serving to preserve its properties and flavor. What disappointed us the most was that smoking is allowed throughout the entire restaurant. There seems to be no consideration for guests who have allergies or who are sensitive to smoke, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. Last but not least, the music was very loud, making it hard to talk comfortably. Overall, I truly wanted to enjoy this place, but sadly the experience did not match its reputation.

We got coffe and it was great . 9 usd each And another night had dinner . Melanisea was perfect.

Great view on the near edge tables, loved the octopus and lentils salad, chocolate cake was also perfect. Service is attentive and quick. Expect 35% higher prices to simular setups, we save it for special dates.

Have been in Uruguay for three weeks and the first time I genuinely enjoyed the food. Combination of ingredients is very clever. The first time I’ve seen green buckwheat with chipirones, very creative and beautiful combination, my hats off to the chef. The best chipirones I’ve had outside of Spain. Also one of the best octopus I’ve ever had - amazingly crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. More expensive than La Huella but sooo worth it. Ask to be seated in Sofía’s zone and make sure to chat with Magda the sommelier.

Good place overall, as any a bit funky in Punta del Este or Jose Ignacio. Cool to have a dj. Nonetheless the place need to chose if it is a restaurant or a night club. If you come for have a meal you need earplugs as you won't be able to have a chat due to the unnecessary loud music.

Very nice ambiance with the beach view in Jose Ignacio. One of the priciest places in Uruguay. The good was generally delicious and the service was great. Good for a big group of people
