La Table de Yemma

Tried this Algerian restaurant after watching Mino from Bohemian Kitchen recommend halal spots in Paris, and I’m really glad we took the chance. My wife and I had never tried Algerian cuisine before, but this place made our first experience a memorable one. We ordered the beef mtewem, a rich, comforting stew, and the chicken rechta, a beautiful noodle dish. Both were incredibly hearty and felt like dishes lovingly cooked by someone’s grandmother—warm, filling, and full of soul. We also had Hamoud, an Algerian soft drink that was surprisingly refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming us warmly and making the experience even better. A lovely discovery, and we walked away feeling both satisfied and a bit more in love with Algerian food. Would definitely recommend to anyone curious to try something new!

We ordered the artichoke tagine and the ox tongue stew, and grilled kidney, heart and lamb, and hmiss. Everything was excellent! Only regret was we couldnt order more.

Warm welcome and friendly staff. Authentic Algerian food with generous portions and affordable prices. I went there with a French Lebanese friend who wanted to try Algerian food and he was satisfied. We ordered a Zfiti for one and the quantity was enough for two. Also had a delicious brick (bourek) and a merguez with meat. Everything was tasty. Great spot in Belleville. By the way, I did notice a small cockroach in the toilet but it did not affect the overall experience.

An amazing food experience. Authentic Algerian food, had all my favourites had a difficult time choosing. People constantly coming and going. Great atmosphere the regulars were singing along with the songs. Coupled with excellent service a must visit of you love Algerian food.

A fabulous place to feel the Algerian vibes in the heart of Paris. The food is excellent and the waiters. Are super kind . The atmosphere is stunning 😍 so much traditional details that reflects the Algerian culture. I really recommend this place 👌

First off, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The effort put into the decor is clear and it creates a fantastic, immersive ambiance. We were so excited to visit. ​Perhaps our expectations were a bit too high, but we were left wanting a little more from the food. It was perfectly fine, but it didn't have that punch of authentic Algerian flavor we were anticipating. The service was also a bit slow during our lunch, which took away from the experience. ​We're giving it 3 stars because it's far from a bad place, and the setting is truly special. However, for us, the food and service just didn't create the 'wow' moment we were hoping for.

A definite must if in Paris. The food was authentic and so so good. Would happily visit again! Highly recommended!

The food was really good and tasty but there was a huge wait line, we ended up eating on the terrace to go faster. But the waiter was nice
