Charming café seating at the plaza. the service was excellent. They worked hard to accommodate my husband celiac limitation. The food was outstanding. Fois gras sauce!!!

As a coeliac, i was very impressed by the service and meal at this delightful little restaurant in the centre of historic Strasbourg. The manager and chef were very positive and helpful ensuring I had a delicious gluten free meal. Highly recommend!

Amazing lunch in a small courtyard of restaurants in Strasbourg. Only 6 tables inside with more outdoors for good weather. Service was wonderful and the food amazing. I ordered a warm goat cheese salad- something I always enjoy when in France, and hubby had an incredible lamb stew with spaetzle. I don’t usually care for lamb but I shared the dish with him it was so good 😋 Highly recommend!!

Great place! We had a lovely evening here. Spare ribs were amazing! Also goose liver pate and shrimps with tomato muss. Vine and desert were delicious as well. Waters speak English

Great Alsacian food, great service and atmosohere! The restaurant has a small and cozy dining area (during winter time). The service was more than very friendly, and the food was Michelin grade, no less. We ordered the pork cheeks (the sever's recommendation) and deer stew and were blown away! For dessert we had a semolina pear cake, which was delightful. The chef was so friendly, and explained about the dishes, and shared his profesdional history with us, truly a delight. This is a restaurant not to be missed!

We found that really cozy restaurant by accident during our walk through the city. Passing by we made a reservation for the same evening, not knowing at all about the location and quality. Summarizing the dinner and evening - we had an extraordinary satisfying evening. The waiter is superb, always seeing if you need something, and not too close to the guests. Perfect. Wine recommendation was also very good. Food: excellent, perfect, well done - what else should we say? Pricewise: definitely worth every Euro and Cent Location itself: cozy, very nice, beautiful atmosphere. Having warmer temperatures it must be perfect as well if sitting outside. Nice little restaurant located at a square in the middle of Straßbourg old town. Unfortunately I only can give five stars! We had duck and salad with goat cheese. Courteous service, nice wine. Exactly the mixture you need having a quick stop over.

La Table du Gayot Our hotel recommended La Table du Gayot. It was a good recommendation. We arrived a bit early so we had our choice of outdoor tables. The restaurant is located on a nice tree filled square. We ordered a salad which we shared, followed by a meat and fish main course. Both main courses were nicely prepared. My wife really enjoyed meat dish special with spätzle, I enjoyed the fish with rice (both pictured). Service was excellent. We also enjoyed a bottle of rose - the wine prices are excellent throughout Strasbourg. Highly recommended.

Petit bistrot donnant sur la place Gayot. Nous l'avons choisi parce que nous voulions pouvoir maintenir une distance physique avec les autres clients. Il y avait aussi une terrasse, étonnamment pas mal fréquentée alors qu'il faisait 3 degrés dehors. Moment agréable. Nous avons aimé l'ambiance musicale des années 90. Lieu calme et agréable. Happy Hour pour les bières de 17 a 19h. J'ai pris un cocktail Hugo que j'ai trouvé très goûteux. Très bon moment.

Very good food - we were lucky enough to eat outside on a beautiful summers night in the square which added to a great atmosphere. Reservation was a must, even for a table for 2. Would definitely recommend

First class steak restaurant- fantastic filet steaks with great sauces and to die for scalloped potatoes and vegetables. Nice environment in a pleasant courtyard. Nice local wines by the glass. Would definitely recommend and return.

We just finished our 10 day France and Swiss vacation. We stopped in Strasbourg, Interlaken, Beaune and Paris. Throughout our trip we had good meals and service and a few that were not that good. All of our dinners were 100-150 euros. Realize that I am in the foodservice industry - studied in Switzerland and worked in hotels, restaurants and food industry for 35 years. This was a fantastic dining experience. My initial review was 4* because I thought my daughters meat was drier than it should have been. I was way too critical. I would suggest you make this dining experience a must. Our kids can't stop talking about it.

Delicious. Great location in happening Guyot Place (square/piazza). Wonderful specials and regular menu. We had the duck and the lamb. Local Alsace white wine topped it off (and then a marvelous house made dessert! Chocolate mouse and a a red fruit parfait. Yum ! ) Good service. English available if needed. Def recommend.

We actually found this place with the help of yelp and I'm very thankful for it. The food is just fantastic. Someone in the kitchen knows what they're doing. I think this is just the place to come if you want to taste regional cooking done well.
