Fantastic value & good quality food. A no-fuss set menu choosing courses you prefer. We are not dessert people, especially not for lunch so we went for the Formule Gourmet for €46 wt mise en bouche, entrée & Plats. You choose your courses from the accompanying alacarte. You’ll be spoiled for choices as all the 4 starters, 3 fish & 3 meat mains were all “choosable”! We had the seabream & langoustine starters & the turbot & pigeon for mains. It was all so good we sneaked in another course of foiegras in between to share. We had a glass of champagne to start & a bottle of really delicious Limoux for a very reasonable €34. They had a really good high-quality wine list but priced very affordably. All in all, a wondrous meal. It’s all quite old school wt gentlemen in uniform & white tablecloth. Very attentive. Great meal, great value & great ambience. Highly recommendable.

Very good experience with my husband and teens. A fancy restaurant that serves nice food and wines with reasonable price. You could never be let down by their dessert. Oh, the platting is fabulous as well. Would come and try their set lunch menu next time!

Sitting in the restaurant as I type! Excellent food, exceptional service from a friendly and helpful staff (very important as my French is extremely lacking!). The panda cotta was a culinary work of art! I have eaten in some excellent restaurants, and La Table Kobus is right up there, at a very reasonable price. If you’re in Epernay I would highly recommend a visit!

Nice restaurant in Eperney, great location, very nice presentation, cosy interiors, amd good staff. We ordered fish, lamb and white chocolate desert. They were fine. Rosé wine was delicious. Recommend it.

Was so looking forward to it! But to be honest I was (a bit) disappointed. Have been here before and expected much more. Starters were okay-good, mains were very disappointing, plates were cold, fish was over done, sauce to thin and watery making it all a bit tasteless. Black Angus steak was okayisch but to much other (tasteless) stuff on the over crowded plate. Deserts were good. Wine list disappointing too, would especially expect more champagnes. Service was great and very friendly.

A great dinner in the heart of Epernay. Very cozy restaurant with a variety of meat and fish options, and beautiful presentation. The sea bass tartar was incredible!

Lamb was amazing. This is the best lamb I have ever had. It was nice and fresh one which was perfectly cooked. Crab tartar was also very good. I had 3 course menu which has various kinds of option. Amuse was scallop with watermelon and ginger sauce. I chose the crab tartar as appetizer and the lamb as the main. Dessert was cheesecake which was also nice. Everything was perfect. Great value for the money. It won’t be my last definitely and come back again soon.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about my experience here. I'm hoping maybe it's because we came later in service (about an hour before closing) but I did notice other tables come in after us and the table next to us had just sat... So it's cute place. Feels like your rich friend's grandma's "parlor." You could be wearing a cocktail dress or a sweater and dark jeans. The menu is nice and features many coursed meals along with a la carte. We chose the two course. I wasn't a huge fan of either of our starters but the foie gras was interestingly presented I guess. My beef was good. The service was extremely lacking for what is supposed to be a nicer place. I should not have to literally yell excuse me across the room to get my check. If you are going to give things out gratis like breadsticks and mignardises, please make sure they go to every table. I couldn't help but feel excluded.

Yelp
If you are in the champagne region of France, you must go to the La Table Kobus. It's not too formal and not too casual, just right. The food is modern with fresh ingredients. It is 65EUR for 4 courses, such a great deal. My favorite dish was the pumpkin with scallops and Iberico pork. I would've never thought pumpkin will go with scallops, but it worked. The sweetness of the pumpkin complemented the sweetness and saline qualities of the scallops. Creative, without going to far. It's all about the balance of flavors.

Yelp
It's a nice setting, if a bit loud, but appropriately upscale yet not too formal. To start the meal, I have to say it was disappointing that half the Champagne list was marked off as unavailable and then the first bottle I tried to order was also out of stock. Seems strange for an upscale Michelin-recommended restaurant in Epernay and most of what was available was the large houses, with a typical markup of 2.5-3x retail which is high. On the good side, food was excellent, we went with a 3 course meal and were able to try most of the options - everything was really good though admittedly we ordered seafood on every course but dessert. True, Epernay isn't near the ocean but the distribution system in France is so good that you'll always get good product. And if you're American I would suggest generally avoiding beef in France - it's fine and all but just not the same and most folks in France will tell you the same. At any rate, Le Table Kobus is a great option in Epernay and I believe it received a Michelin Bib Gourmand designation which is usually just my style - not overly formal but very good at the finer points of both food and service. Quite well done at La Table Kobus.

Yelp
Wonderful wait staff, atmosphere, and food overall. The starters were fantastic, I had a shrimp dish and my wife ordered a crab dish. Presentation was splendid and starters were delightful. I had a cod plate in a perfect sauce, however, my wife ordered the flank steak which was less than perfect. Overall the experience was good, but, honestly, we ate at better non-Michelin rated restaurants in Paris.

Yelp
A typical, slightly uppity French bistro, started out well with a nice comped appetizer and salad. But the duck breast was too tough to eat. When I told the waiter, who had been friendly, up to that point, he just said "oui" and walked away!!!! No offer to fix it, or replace it with another dish. I got out of there as quickly as I could. Other people seemed happy with the bad duck! Not me!
