"Arguably Madrid's top beer bar, La Tape is a non-negotiable stop for beer lovers and home brewers, but even if you cheat and go for a glass of wine and a few tapas, you'll no doubt dig the unbuttoned, breezy atmosphere. The menu is crowd-pleasing through and through with dishes both Spanish—the most heavenly ensaladilla rusa (tuna-y potato salad) in town—and international (think pesto-slathered burrata and artichoke tempura). Amazing gluten free menu with many different options to choose from. I always recommend this place as the food and service are simply exceptional. Looking forward to try their morning brunches soon :)

Not sure why this place shows up as one of the top tapas bars in Madrid. Food was ok-ish. Good selection of beers on tap.

I love their dark beer. The waiter is very friendly and helpful when it comes to their specialty beer selections. They also serve food and breakfast menu.

The crafted beer was very good! Also the food was very good and fresh, all home-made! The fish was a little oily but still had a good taste and the salad with the fish went great! The chicken was well made and the Ravioli with spinach and mushrooms sauce was amaizing! Also all the desserts were tasty and gluten free!

My favorite IPA beer was here, Tucan from La Virgin. There was a good selection of beers, and the staff was friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating in a local, low-key spot. The food was OK, so I took off a star. We had croquetas and patatas bravas. They had a creative take on the classic bravas, but it didn’t land for me.

Disappointing. The Ox Burger had more onion on it than meat. Once I removed the five pounds of onions, the burger was delicious. The truffle mashed potatoes smelled amazing but had zero flavor. The IPA beer they brew tasted more like water than beer. It’s a really nice looking restaurant with very friendly staff. I didn’t have dessert after the disappointing meal but they had some good options.

I’ve been only once (so far!) and we had the day menu which was delicious and very good value. I’m looking forward to come back to try the brunch menu!
