The most trendy cakes and pastries in St.Tropze so of course is a must try. I really liked my ice coffee with milk and also like they have variety of different pastries and sizes of the typical St tropezienne one. The service is not the best. Btw. If you take it on go the prices are different then when you sit there with the service (you have to take it with you or order from them but one guy next to us got his pastry from the “bar” inside and then sit by the table and was not allowed.

Wow …what lovely cakes and pastries they do ! Had to go in as it was pretty busy and that buzz around it and wanted to see what the fuss was about, do not regret it ! Very good ,fresh, delicious cakes!

Staff is kind, however the tarte tropezienne not that much. Too dry and the filling is eggy and not too sweet… If you need to try, at least try the smaller pieces, like mignons…

There's quite a few La Tarte Tropezienne locations around St. Tropez and I wish I had researched before our trip what a tarte tropezienne actually is and how famous it is so that I could have a taste of history :(. Nevertheless, I got to try something from this local "landmark" for breakfast while touring. Looking at the other locations, this one seems a bit smaller but it had an eclectic variety of treats. There's not much one might feel like having in the morning especially without egg in it. I settled for one pain au chocolat (square croissant with chocolate chips - 1.10 Euro), one regular croissant (1.00 Euro), and a hot chocolate. Definitely better than their McDonalds counterparts and if only I could have spent more time eating pastries, I would have!
