La Taverna del Duca is cozy and casual, perfect for a hearty lunch. We sat outside under the whitewashed arches and had handmade pasta with local sausage and ricotta forte – rich, spicy, and unforgettable. The antipasto platter was massive and included fried polenta, grilled vegetables, and local cheese. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very fair (€25–€30), and the food was comforting and authentic. This is a great option for a midday break during a walking tour of the historic center. Loved the down-to-earth charm.
