What a wonderful cafe to visit in Naples 🇮🇹 which is run by a family. We had the pasta, which was made in cheese and lemon served with black pepper on top. It tasted very good. The star of the show was the pasta with potatoes and cheese, which was just amazing! Lastly, we got the fried battered cod, which was tasted super fresh, and many people asked us what this dish was. Absolutely recommended 👌🏻

Sweet Christ on the cross. Wow. Everything was absolutely biblical. Both pasta dishes were exquisite. The fish trio was so unbelievable. The anchovies + ricotta dish is a must. The charcuterie board is also an absolute must. Rick Steves (dad) did it again. I left so full (like Sean).

We came here on our first night and had an amazing intro to Naples, we loved it so much we returned 2 nights after. If you love offals you have to try the soffritto napolitano! Again, thank you to the lovely team for their friendliness ! True tradition and slow food ethics - a must try in Naples !!

An absolutely wonderful find while in Napoli, I had the spaghettone al limone and it was fantastic. It's not the cheapest place around but it's still affordable and absolutely lovely and well worth the extra couple of euros compared to a super-cheap place. I paid €20 for a wonderful main course, 1/2 litre of wine and some sparkling water. The restaurant is family run and the kitchen is open, so if you're looking for authenticity look no further. The staff were also very patient with my terrible Italian 😅 but they did have an English speaker there, too. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

A very friendly family run tavern. The food though was mixed, their Ziti alla genovese was tasty but had a lot of chewy leathery bits in it which ruined my appetite. But then the dessert, their amazing Migliaccio was nothing short of finger licking good! Lastly the atmosphere felt cheap and wasn't cosy at all with weird decorations on the ceiling and walls. Also the nails and holes in the walls didn't help this cold feeling. Overall I would recommend this but not for a fancy or romantic dinner.

We enjoyed our experience here in this small quaint restaurant tucked slightly away from the tourists. Recommend making a reservation. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly, helpful if not native, and you will likely find more French and Italians here than others. While here we had their Ragu and Tonnerello with pepper and aged provolone cheese, and for dessert the soufflé. All dishes were amazing. Grab a liter of their house red wine and you will leave one very happy customer.

Ziti al ragù napoletano was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had in my life. And they soufflé al migliaccio is unique, don’t miss out.

Yelp
Come here for the cozy vibes and good food. Service was okay but the food is what we came for. We didnt have a reservation and were lucky enough to walk in. The bread was ok but the pasta was AMAZING. The lemon and cheese combo was delicious. Didn't get a chance to try a dessert. I really wanted to get the soup but they ran out :( It is tourist friendly- a ton of americans on the bottom floor with English menus.

Yelp
Good food, limited wine list. Service is good too. We had an antipasti that was absolutely HUGE with meats and cheeses. All local. Pastas were excellent. The Genovese was cooked all day - you can tell. The depth of flavor was fantastic. They serve the house wine by half liter or liter. We did opt for a bottle of a natural wine that ended up being quite good. This place was recommended by the B&B we had stayed at - I can definitely see why its on their list.

Yelp
Happiness in Slow Food form! A place worth seeking out - the food is unctious (the pasta e patate is a carb bomb tho!), the portions satisfying, the safe friendly and welcoming, and, basically, they care! So yeah, even if toure not in the hood, it's worth making your way here (We'll be back the next time we're down in Napoli)

Yelp
Be aware that this restaurant will not seat you unless you get there at least an hour and half before they close. There was a table for 4 open when we got there, and the woman wouldn't seat us. So they are still completely uninterested in customer service or getting new customers. We have found that Naples is deservedly not on travelers' radar.
