Excellent hotel! Highly recommend and will definitely book again. The pictures on the website are accurate. Very clean and safe. We rented unit 5, two big beds(firm mattresses), kitchenette with huge fridge and four burners. Separate bathroom from shower area, tv w/ English Netflix. Street view, partial ocean view on patio. Patio had a comfy two chairs and table. Delicious coffee included and filtered water. The owners and team were always available and soo nice. The pool was small but perfect for a dip or spot to read on a hot day. Walking distance to the beach, 1/2 block away.

I loved my stay at La Terraza Inn. It’s one of the few hotels that still keeps that traditional, colonial charm so typical of the Romantic Zone. From the moment you arrive, you feel a super relaxed and cozy vibe, with lots of plants, colors, and little details that make it feel very authentic. The rooms are spacious, clean, and were recently renovated, so they feel fresh but still have that classic touch. The bed was super comfortable, and waking up to the sound of birds and the ocean nearby was wonderful. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and lovely spots to explore, the location couldn’t be better. There’s a small pool, perfect for cooling off in the afternoon, surrounded by greenery that gives it a calm and peaceful atmosphere. But what really makes this place special is the staff, everyone is so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. If you’re looking for a charming, peaceful place that feels genuinely Mexican, this is the one! Totally recommend it, I’d come back in a heartbeat!

So beautifully decorated! Everything was just like the pictures and better. A little on the edge of ZR which made it very quiet during the night while still being super close to everything. Stairs can be a workout. Check-in and check-out went super smooth. The initial email with the key lock combo did end up in my junk so I would just double check that. They’re super fast to respond to messages though.

Home away from home!!! Been going to PV for over 15 years and stayed at this local gem last year. Centrally located - 1 block from the beach and walking distance to the restaurants, shops and Malecon (boardwalk). This place has kept the Mexican charm, has lots of vegetation and quiet. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. The owners are onsite and Rudy checks in with you on a regular basis. See you in less than a month. Daniel

Such a great stay. The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the rooftop terrace for morning coffee and sunset views. It’s my go to stay when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for many years, and I always try and stay at La Terraza Inn. This small boutique hotel is full of Mexican charm and the rooms are absolutely lovely. It really feels like you have an apartment in tropical paradise. I love all the tropical plants and the heated swimming pool is wonderful. The owners are welcoming and eager to please! This really is a very special place and it will ALWAYS be my number one choice for accommodation in PV. Its proximity to the beach and its old world charm, make it a true gem!

I wanted to write an updated review since I’ve stayed here so many times! I highly recommend this hotel! The rooms are a great size! The staff is accommodating and friendly! The mini bar downstairs is a great stop for a drink to go!

We loved our stay at La Terranza Inn. Fredy, the manager on site, was friendly and helpful. It’s in the romantic zone but tucked away from all the hullabaloo so it’s quiet. The room was generous in size and had everything we needed, with tastful decor. We thought the whole area was charming and we will be back!

Yelp
5 stars. The room was somehow quiet in a very loud area and as very well stocked (even with a dining room table), spacious, and super clean. The brother/sister owner/managers are very friendly and responsive. I've stayed in many places in puerto Vallarta, and this is one I'll look forward to going back to. Small (10 bedroom) property so don't expect big property amenities. It's also on a hill so you're gonna get your steps in. It was great and I'm lucky to have found it.

Yelp
This review is only for the restaurant. Great selection of breakfast dishes, both American and Mexican. Delicious food. My French toast was made to perfection with an awesome almond liquor glaze. Very good coffee. Great value. It is quite popular so tables may be at a premium during busy times. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant attached to a hotel that is currently closed. Small patio. But good food for a quick breakfast.

Yelp
This is a great spot for a breakfast. We ordered the American breakfast special (two eggs, bacon and potato) for $79 pesos and the cinnamon french toast with almond liquor for $79 pesos. The eggs were basic fare but cooked well with tasty home style potatoes and tasty bacon. The cinnamon french toast was wonderful and was moe in line with a high end restaurant. Lastly coffee was very good with great service where they were quick to top your cups off. I cant say enough good things about this cozy friendly spot. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Our days started by having The best breakfast during our Two weeks stay. Fresh OJ is very yummy so are the egg Benedict's, etc, etc, etc Friendly owner & staff. Must try if you are in the Romantic Zone. May get addicted. We'll back next year & hoping we are living in the new norm. A beautiful, Charming & cute hole in the Wall.

Yelp
The restaurant is a hidden gem! By far the best breakfast in Puerto Vallarta (of the 10 or so we've tried so far). My omelette was excellent and the French toast (artisan bread with vanilla/almond liqueur) is amazing! It's a small place, but they clearly have a talented and well-trained chef. The service is also great and I love all the small details, like the little aquariums at every table. I'll definitely be back.
