My husband and I and our little dog stayed at La Terraza for three weeks while my husband went to Spanish school. We had a little kitchenette and a large terrace. It was extremely comfortable for an extended stay. Fredy and Randy were so gracious and helpful. Also enjoyed the little bar down below with Andrew. Despite being in the heart of the Romantic Zone it was very quiet at night.

My wife and I loved our stay here. It's so relaxing and quiet. Great little plunge pool area and close to the beach. Freddy is an excellent host. Another bonus is the breakfast and lunch restaurant right at the entrance (the Porch). Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Puerto Vallarta.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days and absolutely LOVED it! The location is just far enough away from the Malecón that the noise doesn’t bother you but still accessible to everything. The hotel itself was so charming and the staff were so nice and helpful! Our room had authentic Mexican style with modern appliances and AC. Cannot recommend this place enough! We will definitely be going back!

This is a cozy and rustic little inn tucked away a block off the beach, and 5-10 minute walk from the heart of the action in Zona Romantica. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The owners are super friendly and responsive to all communications. Pool temp is perfect to cool down in after any amount of time spent out in the heat and humidity. The stairs really aren’t that bad to climb, so long as you don’t have any mobility challenges. There is a cute little cantina serving delicious coffee and drinks on the mezzanine level. A great alternative to an Airbnb and perfect choice for a budget conscious traveller. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! This hotel is such a gem, super peaceful, the room was huge, with a kitchen, and the view from our balcony was gorgeous. One of the highlights was the heated plunge pool, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is ideal too, just a short walk to the beach and tons of restaurants and cafes. Freddy, the host, is awesome! He gave us great recommendations for food and things to do, and we felt so welcomed. You HAVE to try the boozy popsicles! The tequila mango one was insane. We’re already talking about coming back. If you’re heading to PV, stay here.

The place was nice but NOT peaceful!! The Hideout PV is a business that operates from the hotel and plays loud music EVERY DAY from 9ish am until 8ish pm!! Last night, Sunday, the music did not stop until 11:30 pm!! Do not stay here unless you want to hear loud music ALL DAY LONG!

I am so glad for my first trip to Puerto Vallarta I stayed here at La Terraza Inn. We stayed here in early July this year. It was such a beautiful place and welcoming atmosphere! I chose it because it was so close to the beach, more of a boutique vibe and very affordable. Originally the standard room I had booked was under some renovations when we arrived…but we were upgraded to a new room with a kitchenette and it was so nice to have those amenities. This was definitely the right choice if you want to be steps away from the beach and within the romantic zone, very cozy and clean, but most of all Alejandrina was so helpful and welcoming! I really appreciate the service and hospitality from everyone at La Terraza Inn. They made sure we were well taken care of and we will definitely be back (soon I hope)!

Yelp
5 stars. The room was somehow quiet in a very loud area and as very well stocked (even with a dining room table), spacious, and super clean. The brother/sister owner/managers are very friendly and responsive. I've stayed in many places in puerto Vallarta, and this is one I'll look forward to going back to. Small (10 bedroom) property so don't expect big property amenities. It's also on a hill so you're gonna get your steps in. It was great and I'm lucky to have found it.

Yelp
This review is only for the restaurant. Great selection of breakfast dishes, both American and Mexican. Delicious food. My French toast was made to perfection with an awesome almond liquor glaze. Very good coffee. Great value. It is quite popular so tables may be at a premium during busy times. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Nice little restaurant attached to a hotel that is currently closed. Small patio. But good food for a quick breakfast.

Yelp
This is a great spot for a breakfast. We ordered the American breakfast special (two eggs, bacon and potato) for $79 pesos and the cinnamon french toast with almond liquor for $79 pesos. The eggs were basic fare but cooked well with tasty home style potatoes and tasty bacon. The cinnamon french toast was wonderful and was moe in line with a high end restaurant. Lastly coffee was very good with great service where they were quick to top your cups off. I cant say enough good things about this cozy friendly spot. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Our days started by having The best breakfast during our Two weeks stay. Fresh OJ is very yummy so are the egg Benedict's, etc, etc, etc Friendly owner & staff. Must try if you are in the Romantic Zone. May get addicted. We'll back next year & hoping we are living in the new norm. A beautiful, Charming & cute hole in the Wall.

Yelp
The restaurant is a hidden gem! By far the best breakfast in Puerto Vallarta (of the 10 or so we've tried so far). My omelette was excellent and the French toast (artisan bread with vanilla/almond liqueur) is amazing! It's a small place, but they clearly have a talented and well-trained chef. The service is also great and I love all the small details, like the little aquariums at every table. I'll definitely be back.
