La Terrazza

Expensive for Morocco but the food is delicious. The pizza has Moroccan cheese so the flavor is not 100% true but the crust is delicious. The salads are great too. Beer and wine are available. Second hand clothes are also for sale.

Actually a beautiful restaurant in the very best location directly opposite the Kasbah in Ait Ben-Haddou - but unfortunately only the second best pizza of two that I had during my stay in Morocco ... soggy base, little flavor and sparse toppings - but at three times the price. It may be that the chef comes from Calabria, but that alone is not enough to achieve much more than the level of a baked frozen pizza. There is room for improvement here and also with regard to the general service provided, which was characterized by arrogance and disinterest for the guest.

Real nice place with a great view on the old Ait benhaddou, service was good and fast. The food was also good. But my Italian girlfriend didn't allow me to give it 5 stars. Although it was really good; she complained about the olive oil not being good with the nice panino (also not so cheap... almost European prices, but understandable at sutch a lococation I'd say.) Beer and wine are available as well, but most importantly, good view, good food, good service. But Italians are sensitive about their food. If you are not Italian you would probably really enjoy this place.

As everyone else, we loved tajines but we’re tired of them. We are so glad to find La Terrazza and we talked to the owner-chef who comes from Italy. It was a good meal, pizza and pasta was amazing, even the salad too. We loved the home-made drinks (tea and lemonade) very refreshing for the weather. Very pretty place, hope more people would come!

A bit pricy but the meal is really authentic! A real Italian cuisine made by the Italian chef. The pizza was really delicious. 😋😋if you were tired having the tajine or couscous for every meal in Morocco, I highly recommended you came here for a change.🤣🤣

We were looking for a nice restaurant, and wanted something else instead of tajine. We came across a Italian restaurant, run by a Italian man, with his French wife. I ordered the Carbonara pasta (penne) and my wife ate a Pizza Blanca with gorgonzola, cream, onion, and bacon. THE BEST CARBONARA I HAVE EVER EATEN! The pizza was excellent!! Tiramisu and pizza Nutella were very good! Lovely couple, lovely restaurant! Also a great terrace with a view on Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou! (We did not use the terrace, because it was during the evening and it was dark, but the owners told us we had to see it next time!) Grazie Mille! Would have given 6 stars if possible!

La Terrazza in Ait Ben Haddou is an exceptional restaurant run by a welcoming French-Italian couple who bring genuine warmth and hospitality to the experience. The food is outstanding -- everything is beautifully presented. For those with dietary restrictions, the gluten-free pasta is particularly impressive, but every dish is a testament to the chef's skill. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a memorable meal. We loved it so much that we returned a second time during our short stay -- an easy, enthusiastic recommendation for anyone visiting the area.

Disgusting experience. We walked in in the middle of the day to have some ice tea. We were exhausted, it’s unbelievable hot. But a woman who isn’t local and definitely doesn’t know nothing about hospitality or service, said that we can have a lunch or go away. Drinks order wasn’t enough to visit this place despite prices. Restaurant was empty. So be it, I hope it remains empty.
