Terrible service!
I don’t normally write reviews but I’m doing this so perhaps the management sees it and takes action.
Last Saturday, 8th of November, I went to La Terrraza with 3 friends to have a good night… all good up to the point where we went to the bar the get drinks and the bartender starts pointing and screaming at me saying that I had ordered 2 drinks one hour earlier and left without paying for them. I then calmly told them I had in fact paid for the drinks and showed the transaction on my bank account. He insisted I had not paid for them (still shouting). Then his colleague said “it’s ok”.
- It’s not, as they were accusing me of stealing, but I didn’t want to make a scene out of it as I wanted to enjoy the night.
Well… about 30 minutes later my friends and I were in the smoking area, when my friend tripped over a fence and it fell. We went up to tell security of what had happened, and a female security person grabs my arm and said “you have to go, now”. I obviously said: “look, this was an accident, MY FRIEND tripped over the fence and we were going to tell security”, to what she replies “I don’t care who did it, you’re out”. She proceeds to radio who I assume is her manager, who asks me to go downstairs (back to the smoking area) to chat. I go with him, who initially seemed to be a reasonable guy, and explain what had happened again. Out of NOWHERE, this guy starts shouting at me “YOU HAVE TO GO, YOU HAVE 30 SECONDS”, to what I say: “I didn’t do anything”, he shouts “10 SECONDS”.
I am smart enough to leave the place before I get punched, but nonetheless this was a horrible experience. I hope this helps the venue to better train their staff, please don’t use violence when someone is not showing any signs of aggression towards anyone else.
Note: Once outside, another customer of theirs, which looked completely sober by the way, had already called the police because he believed he was unfairly evicted of the place too!
