Excellent lunch. We ordered the 7 tapas lunch set menu for 2 pax and every dish was excellent in both taste and presentation. It’s fine dining standard and price is not expensive at all. Cheaper than the lunch we had yesterday at the market by the river in Seville.

We arrive late and the kitchen was closing in few minutes, but they took us and we're very gentle without pushing on us to close. We stayed in the square under the trees with a special breeze. Very special dinner. The food was very tasty and fresh. Very recommended!!!

We have arrived for the lunch shortly after the restaurant was opened for the day which resulted in us being the only customers for a while (not a bad thing at all). This was not our first visit in 'La Tinaja' as we have learnt about this place two years ago. The first impression was so good that we have decided to come back this year. It is a finding the rare jewel sort of experience as the location of this establishment is further afield from the old town (still within the walking distance) and also from tourists-oriented places. Food-wise the choice was quite impressive so to simplify we went for the set menu. I need to mention that this is a fine dining like experience although you don't need to wear a tuxedo to be allowed in. Prices seemed to be very reasonable and the food tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly and polite and very professional. In essence you can try local cuisine as well as Spanish favourites with a twist. The portion don't seem to be big but withe a set menu you will have several courses not to mention a desert and a complimentary glass of PX wine. In a hot day I would strongly recommend to choose the indoor dining over al fresco for two reasons. One - it is usually extremely hot and this may somewhat ruin your otherwise pleasant dining experience. Two - the restaurant sits on the river bank and it looks like there are some sewers going to the river thus the aroma could be too much to handle. It is fine however to sit outside for late evening or night meal, quite romantic even. So if you are in the area and enjoy good, fresh food this is definitely the place for you!

Amazing dinner by the river with a nice patio!! We had the sangria, eggplant, steak, cod, and patatas bravas. The patatas were my favorite I’ve ever had!

A nice restaurant in a perfect location with river view. Maybe this advantage has made them a bit lazy? I found the quality really good and it could have easily been a lot better. Admittedly, they have many tables and things have be scalable. The pate definetely needed some sour component and the excellent croquetas would have benefitted from a micro dip.

A good place to have dinner near the river. The food was pretty fine, nothing too spectacular. The waiter could've been a bit more friendly.

Just superb! Easily the best meal I had since arriving in Spain and reasonably priced for what I’d say is pretty gourmet fare. Professional and friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. I would certainly go here again and recommend anyone else to go!

This place has really nice outdoor dining overlooking the Guadalquivir river. We had a creamy soup (mazamorra) with grapes, fried onion and tuna and cannoli with a mi-cuit stuffing (can't remember which).

Yelp
We came to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered several tapas portions of different dishes so we could try multiple things. We started off with two of their soups, the salmorejo and the almond soup. We had tried salmorejo elsewhere so we knew what to expect but we ordered it to directly compare it to the almond soup. I must say I'm not a huge fan of salmorejo but the almond soup was fantastic, so refreshing and flavorful. Additionally we got some anchovy toasts, clams, grilled octopus and a cold potato and gambas salad. The potato and shrimp salad was absolutely delicious, and along with the almond soup, the highlight of our meal.

Yelp
One word - Amazing !!! So glad we stop and had dinner at La Tinaja. Everything we ordered was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved this restaurant and totally give it a 5 stars. 100% recommend and for dessert, order la Abuela.

Yelp
This is probably the best dinner we had in Cordoba! We arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm and they asked if we had a reservation and while we didn't, they made allowances for us. The service was impeccable the rest of the night. The waiters were attentive, refilling our drinks, or replacing our plates after each tapa. The most interesting tapa was the fried aubergine with miel (honey). It was crispy, light, and slightly sweet. We also had the salmon tartar with spinach, good, but we didn't care much for it. The jamon wrapped in lomo and fried was tasty but very heavy for me, but my husband loved it. If you enjoy deep fried meat, this one might be for you! The other tapas we had were also very tasty and the fino and vino we ordered were top notch!

Yelp
Kind of a let down especially with the high reviews on google and trip advisor. The food was the same kind of stuff like anywhere. No real fresh mixed greens salads with fruit with a light vinaigrette...everything felt heavy. They didn't even have the specialty dessert and I'm for all the desserts looked the same without any layers and just this single thick layer cream over some bread/soft bottom crust. They don't even have the special cordoban cake here .

Yelp
Perfectly prepared tapas, helpful staff and an inviting environment. The family and I tried to get there our first night in Córdoba, but came too early (6pm). The kids were too hungry to wait, so we had to content ourselves with a little place next to our hotel in the Judería. The next night we arrived at 8pm and were the first ones in! We took seats next to the kitchen and began ordering raciones (tapas portions large enough to share with friends). Everything was expertly prepared, but I'll mention two plates. The flamenquines (little rolls of jamón ibérico fried gently in bread crumbs). They were exquisite. They were prepared with excellent ingredients and the breading was so light that it merely served to give each roll a perky crackle, but not enough to lend any oiliness at all. Our final tapa of the evening was a plate of percebes, which was not on the menu as they had just come in from Galicia. These are huge barnacles (not kidding), lightly steamed. They are funny little things, but if you like seafood, you really must try them. The table wine was also very tasty.
