We just stopped off here to have a drink and a small bite to eat. This place can get really busy, and you can wait for tables. It tends to have groups of five or ten people. The service was excellent. The staff pulled some tables together for another group near us. They're very helpful to customers. And we enjoyed the simple dish that we ordered.

In the terrace you won’t think you are in the center of Madrid! Perfect for a drink and dinner with colleagues. I definitely recommend their homemade cider, the pineapple and pear one it’s worth trying. For eating we tried the homemade hummus with dried tomatoes and the empanada with tuna and peppers, so tasty! I would come back with no doubt 😇

The backyard space was so nice. Apparently going on a Sunday meant they were out of a lot of menu items. Still the food was pretty good and the service was great.

Google
Super cozy place with a great atmosphere, lovely terrace in the garden where you can escape from the heat❤️ The food was great and the staff is very lovely and friendly. The Patatas Bravas much recommended!

I had a quick coffee with a friend there. Lovely cafe. It's very chilled especially the outdoor area. The location is very central, at the chueca area side of Madrid.

Very casual. Servers didn’t seem interested in serving. Burgers were delish!!! I wouldn’t go to Spain to eat burgers but if you must have one they were really good.

Google
Great place, super nice staff. Very reasonable prices. Server was super kind and dealt with my poor Spanish. Would recommend to anyone great place for a bite and drink.

Great place to have a few drinks and food, their outside area is so nice and we loved their sidras, the strawberry one was delicious. We didn’t order any food since we went there after lunch time but it looked really good. Honestly, the prices are not that bad, and the terraza is so nice that it wouldn’t really matter. It’s was like 3-4€ for a beer/cider. We loved it and will for sure be going back.

Yelp
You would miss this place unless you were looking for it. Beautiful patio in the back - just keep walking through the door. The menu has typical croquettes, burgers, and tapas. The sangria comes from a can. Service was average.

Yelp
LTR looks pretty empty and ordinary when you walk by or walk in, but once you walk through to the outdoor seating it turns into a whole new world! Here are some thoughts... --the place is packed : ) --it feels like there are a lot of smokers. --they have the best hummus (5+/5) I've ever had (olive oil & rich taste)! --they have the best french fries (5+/5) I've had in Spain! --their smash burger (4/5) was good, has a subtle but nice mustard flavor. --they have really cool outdoor seating (5+/5)! Highly recommended!

Yelp
I went to this place last Monday with my friends. We wanted to meet and have some tapas and beers. Apparently, this restaurant have become famous during the last months, so we wanted to try it. We sat inside because we wanted a table and it was cold outside, although the terrace/backyard looked really nice. The service was good, even though they took a little long to get our food orders. We decided to share different appetizers, such as "pulpo a feira" (octopus), fingers de pavo (turkey), patatas(potatoes with spicy sauce) bravas and nachos. If I came back, I'll probably do it, I would go for the fingers, octopus and braves, but not for the nachos. Moreover, I'll try a burger or mini burgers. They looked delicious!!

Yelp
Awesome environment with exceptional service. First time in Madrid and I really enjoyed the veggie burrito. Additionally the cider is amazing!! Hope they sell it in the USA

Yelp
Looking in from the street, chances are you won't be lured in. That's because the real crowd (at least when I came) can be found on the beautiful patio out back. We saddled up on one of the high-top stools and were waited on immediately. The first that that caught my eye was the long list of interesting drinks from tinto de verano made with white wine to cider sangria. Everything we tried was refreshing and came in their own can, making it more special. I didn't find the food too bad either. I was impressed by their wide array of salad choices, something not too common here in Spain. Once I saw that 2 of their 3 "menu del dia" options included your choice of salad, I knew I would go with that. Their tapas are unique- with many things coming encased in a mini bread bowl. To top it off, the food is served in a chic brown box and our waitress knew just how to arrange all four of our meals to fit just right. Sure the salad was doused in too much dressing but I can get over that. Outside on their nice patio on an afternoon day, this would still be one of my favorite spots in the area.

Yelp
The back patio is beautiful and the food was amazing! It took 7-10 minutes for the waitress to actually come and take our order but after that, everything was quick and smooth! They even gave us a free pretzel!! I ordered a burrito and it was very good, and for an appetizer, we got nachos which were also very good. 9/10 recommend! :)

Yelp
La tita Rivera is a really good restaurant to try. We had the burrito, croquettes and taco piña. So good! Inexpensive too. And a good portions. Convenient location, near gran via.and friendly staff. The place is really cute too. They have an outdoor patio.

Yelp
It was food. A very bland burrito. Small tacos. The nachos were a highlight. The worst part was the bill came out to $40 USD (for which the currency was automatically chosen, without the option to pay in Euros). The patio also closes earlier than the restaurant so we weren't able to sit outside. :(

Yelp
Oh, Tita Rivera. You are in the middle of a busy shopping area, and a little hard to find to be honest. There is some seating outside in the front, but everyone goes to sit in the beautiful patio in the back. My friend and I entered the restaurant, not knowing if it was a seat-yourself kind of restaurant or a wait-to-be-seated, so we looked a little lost at the front. One of the servers gave us "are-you-stupid-or-just-tourists" look and told us to seat ourselves. LOL! It was a funny way to start our experience at La Tita Rivera. Fortunately, it got better from there. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and I could tell all of their staff was struggling to keep up with the many customers. Expect a wait for food, drinks, for your order to be taken, for the check, etc. This is a place where time gets lost and friends meet up to catch up. My friend and I both ordered the Estrella Galicia beer, and it was the best beer I had in England and Spain (boo warm flat beer in London). It was cold, refreshing, and perfect for a warm summer day. We ended up ordering the slider sampler with four options. I can't remember which ones we ordered but there are only 5 choices. One of them was a tuna steak and I thought it was not that great. However, the rest were fine. I would complain about the artisan bread used for the sliders though. They're not soft at all and were quite rough on the roof of my mouth. I get that it's local and artisan, but I would try to serve the bread warm or something. I wouldn't say this is a place I would return to, simply because there are so many great outdoor dining options in Madrid and have more interesting offerings than sliders.

Yelp
Granted we didn't eat here because we were on a tapas dive bar mission and this place is too fancy for that. Why? as the other reviewer has specified, looking in, it just looks like a typical restaurant, but moving to the back, the terrace is gorgeous! Unfortunately it was too busy for us to get a seat there in the back and for pictures, so we sat inside and had a few drinks. No free tapas besides some chips - but I really enjoy the ciders (not very expensive for about 2.50 EUR). All types of cider that's very refreshing and tasty. Their beer is on the expensive side at almost 5 EUR, so be careful. I heard they have a very good fixed price lunch menu; I guess I'll have to come back and check it out!

Yelp
Fun little patio in their back garden. Enjoy the outdoors with a bit less bustle than the cafe streets. Yummy food, I enjoyed the burrito and the Cerdo con Cabrales. Great selection of house ciders and beers, I enjoyed half pints of the Lemon Beer and Summer Ale. A lively scene .... but the service felt slow. Will still be back!

Yelp
The service was terrible. The nachos were terrible. The wine was subpar. The servers were talking about our table right in front of us.

Yelp
After a day spent trekking across Madrid on foot, this was a decent spot to kick back. The service was prompt and food tasty, even if the portions (the nachos especially) could have been bigger. Reasonable price though beer was a bit more expensive than expected. A place worth revisiting when the weather is more suitable for using the terrace.

Yelp
I stopped by La Tita Rivera with friends last week and I loved the atmosphere! The backyard was filled to the brim with other patrons, so my friends and I sat inside. We had a couple of rounds of drinks. I tried the house tinto de verano, which was very good. We didn't have any food. I will have to try it next time!

Yelp
I was there in summer time, and we had some drinks in the terrace. It is a very nice place for spend a nice time with your friends, to eat and drink. Terrace is very cozy and green. I would very reccomend this place for summer-spring-autumn time. The staff is also very nice and helpfull. Also people there looked all very satisfied. Just a great place! (For tapas you can get I think just chips, not much....)

Yelp
Average food at best, really slow to take our order --- Went for late lunch and the patio was packed but there weren't many people inside. We immediately got a table and a waiter came up, quickly figured out we didn't speak much Spanish, then offered an English menu. Then another waiter came up to ask for drink orders and we said we needed a few minutes to decide. Never saw him again. 20 minutes later after multiple waiters walked by our empty table we finally flagged down a waiter and ordered. Food didn't take long but was average at best. Got sangrias to drink and they were in cans, which is weird and lazy and they were not very good. Not impressed. I wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend to people visiting Madrid.
