What a gem of a restaurant, set in a old tower building, you get the feeling you are dining in a restaurant set in the middle ages. Food was the highlight and every single dish we tried were delicious. Lard was a simple dish, but a decadent dish when paired with homemade honey. Risotto was simple yet with flavour and another dish of the day for us. Duck ravioli was such a homely dish, the meat was so tender and had such a great texture. Run by a family, you can see the perfection in each dish that's taken them years to horn in and it shows in every single dish. Such a great find in Pavia.

Such a lovely place and extra delicious food! Both the fish and the meat that we tried were extremely tender and just perfect. The dessert and wine selection is great as well. The design of the place is very interesting and respects the history of the building. The members of staff are very friendly. Overall, it was an amazing experience and would highly recommend

Excellent food! The gnocchi is to die for, the bread basket was top quality. For starters, the calamari and aubergine were all amazing. I got by with only speaking English but used google translate for the menu!

I’ve eaten here a few times on visits to Pavia. It’s quite busy, and I recommend a reservation, although they might offer to squeeze you in between reservations if you eat fast. There’s outdoor seating in decent weather. The service is super friendly and speaks English if needed. The food is good honestly the bread is probably the best part of the meal. Extensive wine list.

We had tortelli, gnocchi di patate, carpaccio and house red wine. All dishes were delicious especially the one with gnocchi. They literally melt in your mouth. At the end they offered us a little dessert. It was a pleasant evening. Definitely recommended for dinner in Pavia

Excellent place, actually one of the few open on Monday in the city center. Great service, exquisite menu and excellent proposals. Recommended to book given the 35 seats

Yelp
Very quaint, good food and service. We had a table in the entry way but the rest of the restaurant had a lot of charm. The owners bring you a plate with meatballs and bread. Also a complimentary plate of Easter cake at the end of they meal.
