Everyone working here was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and each room is unique. We stayed in a suite with a balcony and separate sitting area. Our friend's soom spanned a couple floors and the bathroom was built into the rock. We joked about it being a cave. Very, very unique and interesting. There are many narrow stairs throughout the hotel, but if you are coming to this area of Italy, you should already be prepared for all the stairs and hills! We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

We loved staying at La Torretta. Service was great from check-in to check-out. We really enjoyed our welcome drink. We also appreciated the hotel's personal recommendations. The hot tub was amazing too. Great to enjoy during a hot day (the water was cool). Breakfast was incredible. So tasty. Great variety of foods. The rooms were neatly decorated and comfortable. The AC unit wasn't super effective so it was hot and humid in our room but we managed. We also enjoyed escaping the tourist crowds on our private terrace. The location of the hotel is great because it's away from the main crowds. It's a little up the hill but the view is worth it!

So clean, so nice! The perfect stay in Manarola. Can’t say enough of how clean the room was kept during our stay! Highly recommend. The location was perfect - a little bit of a walk uphill from the train station but still close enough to restaurants, the shops and the train. Also you are right near the start of the hiking trail.

We enjoyed staying here. The room was simple but adequate and had a lovely view over the town, hills and sea. The staff were courteous and friendly. After lots of walking on both days we enjoyed the fact that we had two lovely places to have dinner at really close by: La Regina de Monarola and La Trattoria dal Billy. |Our room did not include breakfast so we enjoyed breakfast one morning in Vernazza and then just outside the hotel at Cappun Magru.

My husband and I were greeted very warmly when we arrived and enjoyed a glass of prosecco on the terrace, while we getting checked in. The views are absolutely spectacular! Our room was just off the terrace and while the room was quite small, the view from our window was stunning. We sat out on our own private terrace and enjoyed the sunset after a strenuous hike to Corniglia. The location is perfect. A very steep, but manageable walk from the train station.

A very well kept, cozy inn. The owners are so gracious. The view is amazing!! Rooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms, and sitting areas. We had a patio to ourselves overlooking the sea. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with fresh fruits, pastries and made to order eggs. Loved our stay.

This hotel was a DREAM! Manarola is a rustic beach town, but La Toretta made these unique cliffside dwellings into the most perfect stay! Yes- you have to take your luggage up to the top of town upon arrival, but the trek is not far and there will be a hill wherever you stay in Cinque Terre. Much better to do the hill on the way there and enjoy heading down into town the rest of the stay.
The fabulous concierge Barbara greeted us by name with champagne upon arrival and let us sit on the lovely terrace as she made us dinner reservations in town. The room was quaint but clean and thoughtful. Our bed was made every time we left the room. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning with kind staff and delicious food. Would definitely recommend staying here to enjoy the views and hospitable culture of Manarola!

Located near the church at top of town. Great views of sea and town below. Very friendly staff with great service. Lots of steps to/from rooms but that is Cinque Terre. We stayed in Room 2. Nice size living room, large bedroom with king bed, and big bath room with huge double shower. Very nice. Loved included breakfast on outdoor patio with nice views. Food was great. Staff carried luggage to/from rooms which was super helpful. Place would be challenge for physically challenged. Highly recommend private boat tour of area. Trains and 5 towns were packed with tourists during daytime. Nighttime they clear out. Be prepared for major walking and step climbing when you tour Cinque Terre. But well worth it! Great way to work off the bread, oil and pasta!
