La Tradision

The atmosphere is decent and pleasant, but the service is quite slow when it comes to processing orders. Unfortunately, many items from the menu were not available at the time of our visit. That said, the food we did manage to try was very good — the lasagna, eggplant Parmigiana, and arancini were excellent and definitely the highlights of the meal.

Great spot tucked a block or so away from the Arena. Fairly loud but not in a bad way. There is a patio at the back which might be a little chilly for some. The lasagna was delicious, though the portion size was a bit small. The cod croquettes were not pleasant, pale, very fishy ( not in a good way) and over salty….there are other choices for appetizers, give them a try next time

I absolutely loved this bar! It was so cozy, the food was so delicious, and I loved the variety of drinks and spritzes. We came in the late afternoon when it wasn’t that busy, and I ended up picking up and they asked if we could move tables and we said yes, and they gave usa free round of wine, which was very kind. I loved the environment and the high ceilings, I would definitely come back here. The music being played was so vibey!

I would have never gone here since it is in the very touristic area but we were super hungry and decided to try. We were pleasently surprised by the quality! We ordered lasangas, caprese salad and aperols. The food was very good quality: tasty and well baked lasagna, caprese had nice fresh tomatoes and delicious buffalo mozzarella. Drinks were good and came with chips.

We stopped for a couple of cold drinks after walking around the city, hence I could not rate the food. Ambience was great, great background music, a good vibe to the place. Service was friendly and efficient, the wait staff come to your table to take your order which was good. We certainly had a relaxing couple of drinks before having to get back to the train station to go home.

I could say that this place is a hidden gem of Verona. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the Arena di Verona. The staff are very kind and helpful — they genuinely want you to feel good, not just take your money.

I absolutely loved this place! I came here at least 3 times whilst in Verona and loved it every time. Great atmosphere. Excellent drinks and food. Fast and friendly service.

We bumped into this place when we were looking for a nice outdoor terrace to have a spritz and it didn’t disappoint. It was quite full but atmosphere was great, we had some nice aperitivos and they have good food options. Definitely recommend

Nice neighborhood bar with lots of appetizers. They start you out with complimentary potato chips. The vegetarian poplette options were spinach/cheese, cacio y Pepe and mixed vegetables and weren't all that great. However, our pastas were both good. I had the spiral pasta with spicy tomato sauce and olives and my friend had the spaghetti with ragu.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant was great vibes, huge drink selection, and perfect foods! Not only is this spot aesthetically pleasing and has great food and drinks, but it's also super affordable! Prices are amazing for the wonderful quality they offer. Would recommend coming here in a heartbeat. We came for lunch, but were tempted to return on the same day for dinner! Their house bruschetta is amazing and I love their buffalo soft mozzarella--it just melts in your mouth! Their drinks are also fantastic, there's defiantly something for everyone. I would recommend the spritz Hugo if you're into something fresh and sweet tasting! Definitely on my list to revisit if I'm ever in Verona again!

We stopped in for a bite and a glass of wine and we're not disappointed. It had a nice ambiance inside, the patio out back was full were most guests requested to sit. We'd definitely go back!

If you are sick and tired of the tourist trap restaurants that serve you subpar pasta at an insane price, this small hole in the wall is an absolute breath of fresh air. Their charcuterie board was phenomenal. Fruit juices, bruschetta, paninis, and absolutely delicious pasta. I cannot stress enough how great this place is.

Popped in for a light lunch on Saturday just before midday. Left at about 3pm having grazed on absolutely smashing food and had some wonderful wines. Exceptional value for money. The staff were terrific with helpful suggestions and were really attentive despite the fact the restaurant filled up quickly. If you are after snooty staff and pictures on a plate, go elsewhere. A wonderfully quirky place with brilliant food. I visited with friends for the opera. It would have been worth the visit just to eat here. Recommended - artichoke risotto. Charcuterie board. And ask them to mix a cocktail of the barmaid's choice. Mine was wonderful!

Wonderful food, great service and so nice to be in a place that feels "real", not a resturant that caters to tourists with overpriced food and bad attitudes. Thank you!

It was just fantastic! Such a kind and warm welcome. The croissants were delicious and the drinks refreshing. The meat dish was abundantly. A perfect place for a break. We definitely will visit this place once more during our holiday in Verona.

Wow! Set back a little from the town center and coliseum is La Tradision. Go there. Have lunch. Try anything because I'll bet EVERYTHING is fantastic. Including the service and the music mix! We had a salad with dried beef and a small mix of meats and cheeses with pickled veggies. OMG. Ate too much. Fantastic. Wow!

Really good alcohol (and cheap). The food is kind of so-so but we came here to drink.

Stopped in for cocktails and tapas late afternoon. I recommend the Spritz Tradision and mixed plate of tapas. Really excellent and great prices.

Cheese and meat board heaven. It's a small unassuming place steps from the arena. Stop in for an expression for only .90! Amazing wine collection too.
