Absolutely loved our experience in this restaurant, the food was delicious, the ambience quiet and nice and the server was incredibly sweet. We chose the Discovery menu it was delicious!!! Next time we will probably choose something else I have to say the crepe flambé au bleuet smelled sooo good. We will return another time.

We stayed at the hotel and visited for dinner and breakfast - very different experiences, but only breakfast would be recommended! For dinner, we tried the Discovery Menu, which was just fine - not worth the high price point (~$220 USD). Portions, while on the smaller side, were filling and tasty. I wish there was more storytelling that came along with these dishes given the restaurant's First Nations theme, but perhaps we missed out on this due to only speaking English. On the other hand, we greatly enjoyed breakfast on the lovely patio - prices seemed fairer, service faster, and every dish was delicious! Note that we were told the restaurant is reservation only - while the restaurant was fairly empty, service was a bit stretched thin and we had to wait for quite some time between our courses.

We went to visit the museum and decided to eat at the restaurant. We chose to sit outside, it was a gorgeous summer day and the atmosphere overall was great. We had a nice service, ordered Native sourced beers, the smoked wild boar sandwich which was delicious and the trout, which was so-so. The whole experience was fine but as soon as the restaurant started packing, service got delayed a bit. Nothing that caused stress or disappointment. The bannock was really good and in the end, we did a little walk by the riverside to enjoy the calming waters. Very nice place indeed.

Bannock bread is amazing, out of this world. It’s worth going just for the bread hahaha! Food is very different, but good. We arrived for lunch but the kitchen was closed for mains and we had to order platters (it closed at 2:30). Tried the fish platter and the signature platter, both were very good. I loved the bread and salmon jerky. Very unique and tasteful selection of toppings (the sauces served on the side). Good service, very kind waiters that offer you a more private experience by not hanging around the table as much and sort of going about their own thing. They will come quickly when you call, though, and are always at your disposition! The place has a wonderful atmosphere with many beautiful paintings and well-made taxidermies. Loved the bison and the moose; both are impressive! The view from the window side tables is marvellous too. Wide range of seating options, clean bathrooms, and nice music (very quiet and out of your way, allows for conversation). In conclusion, a solid restaurant!

The food was great, we tried the 4 plates menu. The portions were small but we were satisfied with our meal. I loved the ambiance. The whole experience was great except for our waitress, we had to ask for butter 3 times before getting it. She was short on her answers and seems in a hurry to go elsewhere. For a +$300 meal for 3 people, I would have expected better service. The Fish, the Fish was GREAT, I believe this was one of the best fish I have ever eaten.

A beautiful restaurant serving Wendat inspired dishes including game, wild mushrooms, berries, and the 3 sisters (squash, corn, and beans). Food was excellent. A bit pricey overall. Dinner was >CA$150 / person including 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, and dessert.

When we're done the visit at the wendat museum. Our first time this place. My meals: smoked salmon oshata, somethings creamy scallops with salmon and a main dish I forgot what's call it. Exquisite flavors on my palette, the joyful staffs with heck a humor and the relaxing ambient with some modernes native musics.

A wonderful experience with thoughtful menu choices. I enjoyed the generous wild mushroom appetizer. I chose arctic char -- delicious main course. The dessert offerings are wonderfully prepared.
