La Trattoria Restaurant

Great food and good service. The spaghetti pescatore was absolutely delicious. Very good portion and very flavourful. The carpaccio special was okay but I would have liked to try it on its own without the prosciutto. The Bellini was crisp and sweet without being overpowering. All in all, it was a good experience.

Our group of 26 (including 3 little ones) was easily accommodated, and everything from start to finish was seamless. Angelo was wonderful in helping with our reservation and even arranged a custom birthday cake for one of our guests—it was absolutely delicious! The food was phenomenal. Everyone at the table raved about their meals—from the fresh Caesar salad and brick oven pizzas to the incredible appetizers. Standout dishes included the tender octopus and the calamari, which disappeared in seconds. The homemade pastas were outstanding, especially the Ravioli Mona Lisa. A special moment came when my son asked if they could make an affogato (not even on the menu), and without hesitation, the waiter cheerfully said, “Of course we can!” That level of service was truly impressive and memorable. We loved it so much that we recommended the restaurant to fellow travelers on our cruise ship—who later sought us out just to tell us how amazing their experience was, too! As a fun bonus, we also purchased one of the signature chicken pitchers as a souvenir—such a charming touch that will remind us of this wonderful evening every time we use it. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our family gathering so special. We can’t wait to return!

I've been walking by the restaurant and not aware that it is such a beautiful establishment on the inside. A week ago, a girlfriend invited me to dinner and suggested this place, and boy, was I in for an amazing treat. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. They make their own pasta, and the menu have so many delicious dishes to choose from. I also hear they have the best pizza in town, but I'm still yet to try it.

This is a nice little gem we just happened into. It's located in a narrow corridor and felt little little italy. Everything is hand-made, and the staff are very attentive.

This is one of our favorite restaurants on the island! Some of the options are really inventive, yet still authentic. The staff are excellent as well and will go above and beyond to give you the best experience they can. We got to try a delicious freshly made ravioli last week, which we could see the chef making!

I ordered from this restaurant once and had it delivered, the food was phenomenal, I was only visiting the island from Canada however this lasagna was some of the best I had ever had ever. It was paired perfectly with their garlic bread which conveniently comes in packs of 3, warm and soft, with a slight crunch. I pray for the time I can return so I can enjoy this food once more. I wish I could explore more of their menu over a longer stay, perhaps even eat inside of the restaurant. It's truly a nice restaurant from what I saw when picking up take out orders to bring back home. 10/10 food, would recommend.

My BF and I were in Bermuda on vacation. We were looking for an Italian restaurant to dine at on our last night in Hamilton. La Trattoria came up on our search and was open until 9:30pm so we headed over for dinner. It was very difficult to find the restaurant because it is in an alley way in the Washington Square mall. The hostess on the phone was very nice and gave directions guiding us there. Upon arrival we were actually shocked at the brightly lit and outdated restaurant that actually looks much more like a random pizza parlor. We were puzzled by the atmosphere. We were seated, both ordered soup. The minestrone soup had no pasta in it and was basically a vegetable soup, the pumpkin soup was watery and flavorless. We both ordered chicken dishes (pesto and parmesan). The chicken on both dishes was old, overcooked and dry. The main courses were so bad we could not finish our meals. This is not at all an authentic italian restaurant and the food prices are much, much too high for the quality, flavor and presentation of the food you are served. We were still talking about how bad the food was the next day. The hostess was very nice on the phone but It’s in a hard to find location, the dining room is over-lit and has outdated interior and the food is over cooked, flavorless and overpriced. The table service was fair, the waiter was not very attentive, no water was offered, no drink refills were offered. Would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a real italian restaurant experience and high quality food.
