La Tremoille Hotel

My colleagues and I stayed at the hotel for a few nights during our business trip and I would say that the service was one of the best I’ve ever encountered. Despite not being a 5-star luxury resort, the hotel management and staff gave us an absolute 5-star experience. Super polite and professional team! Whatever I asked for, I received promptly. The hotel’s spacious rooms deserve further admiration. Thanks a lot for the service and our great stay! We will definitely be back again :)

We returned to Hotel De La Tremoille after spending our honeymoon there 36 years ago, almost to the day. Our experience was excellent in every way! The staff was amazing to us, particularly Walter the Concierge who recommended great restaurants to us almost every night and answered all of our questions. Also wonderful was the front desk management who handled our reservation. The rooms were really big and clean, and we loved the daily breakfast which was quietly left in our hatch next to the door of our room so as not to disturb us. This is truly a hidden gem! Room was not ready for check in at 3 pm. Sunday. At 5 pm a fire alarm went off. Staff at hotel couldn’t turn it off. All guests came|To the lobby. Bedlam. ||Was great place 20 years ago but it is not a high standard anymore. Alas.||Let’s hope it’s just the remodel. And that service will return to the former standard.

We just returned from a lovely stay at the Tremoille. The location is perfect - right near many of the attractions but on a quiet street away from the noise. The concierge was extremely helpful with reservations and suggestions and greeted us every time by our names. The downside of no restaurant at the hotel was totally irrelevant in our opinion because there were so many options for a nice breakfast or quick coffee just minutes from the hotel. So because of that it makes the hotel more affordable for a beautiful place to stay in the best area of Paris. We ended up upgrading to a larger room and our rate was still less than many comparable hotels for a basic room. We highly recommend this hotel!

Just got back from our trip and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. The location is fantastic, the staffs from the moment we checked in to all my inquiries from concierge was nothing but one and beyond service. The care my daughter and I felt during our stay from the staff was unbelievable. Even before my stay, every time I emailed with a question or request for reservations, I received a response back quickly. The room was very clean and spacious and we had the room on the top with a beautiful view and balcony. Highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again on my next Paris trip.

Paris is probably the most difficult city in the world in which to evaluate hotels, since the price and number of options of truly luxury accommodation are eye-watering. Reviews that claim that this is "not a 5-star experience" are correct insofar that this isn't the Ritz or the Bristol - no, there is no pool, no bar, and there was no open restaurant at the time I arrived. If that's what you want in Paris, go for it and pay four or five times more.||That said, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great hotel experience that would be top-of-the-line in any other city in the world. My room was very large by Paris standards, clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. The location is spectacular for the vast majority of tourists, yet still quiet and peaceful on the street. And I was very pleased with the service - the front desk even lent me their phone charger when I foolishly left mine at home.||I believe - believe - the hotel may have been recently renovated, which may explain its relative lack of recent reviews. Don't worry about this - book with confidence and enjoy a reasonably priced, 5-star experience that is just a tier below the truly elite Paris hotels. Well worth it, in my view.

Very nice cute and small hotel, amazing and very hospitable staff, we visited when parts of the hotel were under renovation, there was no restaurant. However the staff made up for everything... Very neat and clean rooms. The location is absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Excellent location and superbly professional, pleasant and helpful staff! However the rooms, though big, are in a shabby condition. The quality of furniture is poor. The bathroom is surprisingly small, especially given the size of the room, and the shower leaked badly. This is not a five star property. There is no restaurant and the breakfast option is totally unsatisfactory. Stay only if you are getting a great deal and don’t mind compromising. We paid top dollar and were quite disappointed.

Hotel de la Tremoille is located in an area of the city that allows the visitor to walk to many of the sites of Paris. We had a deluxe room on the fifth floor that provided us pretty views of Paris streets. We were able to walk to the Marais district within an hour as well as the Latin Quarter. We were especially pleased with the concierge. They arranged for taxis, and even arranged some reservations for dinner and got us tickets to the Pompidou Center before we even arrived from the US. They were knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. In all, we were very satisfied and appreciative of the hotel staff and we would gladly stay here on our next visit. This was simply the best holiday vacation I have had in years. This Hotel.... beautiful and the STAFF..... amazing!!!!!!!! I can't stress enough how simply beautiful this entire trip was and because of the staff of this Hotel. They were willing to direct me to locations I wanted to see and always greeted me as I entered. Room, spotless and Hotel just steps away from all major Monuments. Beautiful!!!

AMAZING STAFF!!!!!! Walter and hugur (can't spell his name I apologize ) were the best very helpful !!!!!!! They made me feel super special and super protected during the whole trip!!!! Definitely coming back and staying here !!! Oh also breakfast was delicious!

Such a stunning hotel. The staff are there for your every night, and there's even a little hatch to have breakfast in bed without being disturbed. The rooms are beautiful and the choice of Molton and Brown shower gel is quite amazing. Has a really great location too.

Hotel de la Trémoille is a quaint little hotel about a block off Avenue George V. It has the sort of understated elegance that I appreciate in Paris. No pretentiousness or obsequience that serves no purpose other than to justify exhorbitant rates. My room was described as "quiet." It was very quiet. This meant it did not face the street and had no view whatever. It barely even had windows. If you want a room with a view and they tell you that they assigned you a "quiet" room, ask them for a noisier one. Bear in mind that this is not a tall building and is not located on a broad thoroughfare. So even the noisier rooms will not be all that noisy and will not have much of a view. I usually sleep with my eyes closed anyway, so the view is not a big feature for me. If I want a view, I will go for a walk. On that score, Hotel de la Trémoille is well situated off Avenue George V roughly halfway between Champs-Élysées and the Seine. The rooms are small, but this is pretty standard in Paris. At the Hotel de la Trémoille, at least everything works as it should. Having everything work as it should is definitely not standard for Paris hotels. I recommend this hotel. I regard it as a gem.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. If you've heard it once, you've heard it a million times. It's all about location, location, location! Since we had plans to meet family, we chose this hotel because it is a perfect location for touristy stuff. Close to the metro, close to the Champs Elysee and if you're on the higher floors (we were not) you get a smashing view of the Eiffel Tower. No matter, as we got a lovely view of it every day and night as we walked to the closest metro, Alma-Marceau, which is 3 blocks away. We were shown to our room , which was a bit small and dark, facing another building. As we walked down the hallway, I could smell stale cigarette smoke. Warning for people with allergies, cigarette sensitivities or those who just can't stand the smell. We asked for another room and got a much airier one. And the hallway on this floor did not smell of cigarettes at all. The room was small but cozy. The bed, very comfortable. The bathtub/shower had what looked like a Molton Brown Bar --- there were 6 different bottles of bath and shower gel to choose from. Definitely a nice perk. The wi-fi here...although free, was shoddy at best, so very frustrating if you are planning on doing some work. The staff here are extremely nice and helpful.

Great location. Close to restaurants and the Eiffel tower. The rooms are small and a bit out dated. The staff are RUDE in a very condescending way. Apparently the only way to get respect is to respond with an equally rude and pompous attitude. I will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

Great location, ​rooms and lobby. Still very ugly. With the exception of one concierge and the Englishwoman on the desk when we checked in the staff and vibes are really ugly. To wit: Come in late at night- no greeting from desk, doorman rarely​ on door and when they are​ rarely​open both sets of HEAVY doors. concierge​ and breakfast room the worst. One concierge told me "we can't be expected to know every bus stop and connection in Paris" after I asked a specific question. Very bad attitudes. Breakfast room, the food is excellent, staffed with sociopaths. No greeting, they try to avoid your eyes. It is a brunch but​ you need to order water​, ​cappuccino​ etc. Housekeeping OK but never follow requests. A charge for an extra day was made. I had to work to get it removed. No apologies no nothing. Perfectly unacceptable behavior. It's endemic here​.Too bad, with a change​ in training and management this hotel could be a winner.
