We had finished lunch and were strolling through the city when we came upon La Trofea, my friend who is a bread maker here in the US and me, a restaurant owner, were drawn in by the incredible aromas and the pizzas showcase. The owner behind the counter was outgoing, friendly and welcoming to us. Even though we were full, we ordered 2 slices of pizza and the mortadella sandwich...they both were out of this world! Warm and the taste of coal fired I consumed mine instantly. So much flavor, freshness and warmth from the owner. Highly recommend it.
