La Tropézienne

I’m surprised to see their rating is this low. The pastries are fantastic (all the ones we bought) and the staff are very friendly. Prices are fair, too. Worth checking out!

There is not enough space inside the shop to move around where is other people, and service is slow and not always with a smile. But the products are simply incredible. The baker is a genius. Everything is delicious, from the bread to the most elaborated cakes. And you come first and foremost for the food. So this is just an amazing bakery and where I always go first!

It is small but all is fresh and what we tried very tasty! You can also buy bread there! Or sweets or sandwiches 🥪 They sell also local sweets called Papalines which I recommend to try!

Very pretty shop with amazing treats. I have to stop myself from going in multiple times a week. Amazing cakes, pastries. The baguette is good but try the bread also, so good! Also, I don’t know why but their sandwich with cornichon & rosette is the best I’ve had. Always busy and nice staff.

LOVED every single pastry we got from here, but I personally will NEVER stop thinking about the tarte tropezienne! Each time the salesperson was lovely and the pastries superlative; ignore any "bad" reviews on the google.

The raspberry macaron is so delicious — you should definitely try it!

We liked a few of the items we bought here, from Paris Brest to Florentine. We bought a salad and a sandwich to our hotel. The salad was not dressed and no dressing was in the box. Annoying.

For a chocolatier, I didn't taste much chocolate. The clerk told me their top sellers, so I chose the hazelnut chocolate with a nougat filling and cookie base. It tasted so sweet it hurt my teeth. It tasted like a Ferrer rocher And quickly became redundant. The store and display look nice but it didn't deliver.

The tarte tropezienne is not the real deal. In fact the brioche was clearly from yesterday and the crème pâtissière was basically just whipped cream with vanilla. In addition, I found the staff very unfriendly and the tropezienne seriously overprized too. Don't go there! There are plenty of better and nicer bakeries around.
