One thing I really appreciate La Tropezienne is that it stays true as an authentic French bakery, no scones, muffins, or cookies just delicious croissants, tarts, and baguettes.
I'm a big croissant lover and La Tropezienne's croissants are more similar to what you get in Paris than some of the American bakeries here. They are light, golden, and buttery. Not necessarily the crunchiest but definitely have nice flakes. La Tropezienne also makes twice baked croissants in special flavors like pistachio, which are tasty too. Another item I had and enjoyed is the dulce de leche, a caramel filled croiffin.
Overall my experiences here have been great. Service wise, the cashier lady isn't super warm, it's exactly the stereotype service one would expect. On the other hand, if it's the other guy, maybe the baker, behind the counter, he is the best, I like his direct, warm vibe.
