La Vache Qui Vole !

The food was good but expensive. Splitting the bill was a disaster. They could only split it evenly which has not been out experience with Switzerland and France.

Excellent food. We went on a very warm day and the gazpacho trio and poke bowl were absolutely perfect. Others were eating traditional dishes like perch and entrecote, and it looked great too. Bonus.... great singer/guitar player on the night we were there. An almost perfect evening.

The place is okay, there was some live music playing, we had a table immediately. Starters were decent, raw fish assortiment was good even. We shared a main with two people that was unfortunately not worth it (Ris de veau), and a limoncello sorbet as dessert which was okay again. It was a bit expensive for what it was, and although the food was delivered quickly, the rest of the service was quite slow. Nice setting, but not the best restaurant you can find here in my opinion.

Dont try and have a light meal here, you are not welcome!!! We went hoping to have a few starters and a bottle of wine but were told after we had sat down and waited for 10 minutes that we needed to be spending chf40 per head or it wasnt worth serving us!!!!

I was looking for a cool restaurant with my son. And we came to La Vache qui Vole. He ordered the burger and I never saw him eating so fast, everything and his eyes told me he adored it The pasta was homemade and delicious ! We will be certainly back next time we visit Martigny

Friendly service. Execution of main dish not in line with the price. The bottle of filtered tap water comes at 7,5 CHF.

Too expensive, usual mediocre Swiss food at ridiculous prices. The cafés and restaurants in Switzerland should think carefully about how they want to proceed coming out of this crisis.

We had a really good lunch at this restaurant. The food it's so good. They had a special menu for new year's celebration. The place is cozy and the service is good. Also I like the music ambience.

As good as it gets. If you're looking for a restaurant for your after-ski session during the winter then you hit a home run. La Vache Qui Vole is a great restaurant located in the center of Martigny and will suit anyone who enjoys exquisite food. The few times I've been there were a great experience. Cozy atmosphere, great music and enjoy the view over the park. Food wise, anything related to meat is a must-try. Their specialty is beef entrecôte with fries. They have an extensive list of wine as well, having even a Chateau Petrus. A must-try!

Great restaurant !!! With original menu. I took various dishes like Eggplant lasagna, Vaniglia Scallop Risotto, Frog Legs Risotto, Wolfish, etc... And everytime, everything is PERFECT !!!

Excellent if you look for a nice place with regional cooking it's the place to go in Martigny I had some roe deer filet as a main dish and that was as fantastic as the rest of the menue (e.g. Pasta with black trufels). Try some of the local red wine! I had one recommend by the young and very friendly waiter and it was just great. My advise make an early reservation for there are not a lot of tables!
