Steak and frites done absolutely right. The steak was cooked to a proper medium and was flavourful and satisfying. The frites were perfectly crispy and well-salted, none of that bland potato sadness. Since they’re unlimited and very addictive, we kept asking for more. Dessert is served from a charming cart, and the two we tried were delicious. The restaurant itself has a cozy, relaxed feel, making it a great spot for a casual date. Just note that there’s no menu here. You’re getting the steak, frites, salad set for 68. Simple, focused, and very well executed.

I was so excited to hear that one of my fave spots from HK had made its way across the shores to Singapore and it delivered - they do one thing, and they do it well. Everyone gets salad, steak (cooked to your preferred temperature), and unlimited fries. The salad is excellent - bright, vibrant, moreish. The steak - we get ours done to medium-rare and would argue this is the best way ;) - was perfect, and comes served on a heated tray (kept warm with candles), and their house sauce (plus ketchup for the fries). The seasoning on the fries is so addictive, but I do really like that they give you the option to go for less-seasoned fries should that be your preference. I was excited to try the house wine again but unfortunately, it hadn't arrived yet - our waitress recommended an alternate which was also very good. Dessert cart was also fabulous - the creme caramel was excellent, and my partner enjoyed the profiteroles. One tiny nitpick - you can book online, but can't cancel there too, you have to call instead. It would be nice if there was an option to cancel or reschedule online too.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday here and the food was really good. The steak was delicious and I really enjoyed the free flow fries. I wish the staff was more prompt in topping up the fries but I appreciated their energy and enthusiasm in celebrating my friend’s birthday. The place was almost verging on uncomfortably loud though.

Was there in Nov and made an appt on a weekday lunch. Basically theres only 1 set menu and food is so awesome! Service is great, they are all full of smiles and when we request for additional bread, they were very happy to oblige. The only thing is table is a little small and distance between tables are a little tight, so you can kinda hear the chit chat from others, which makes it kinda noisy, so the ambience was kinda ruined in this sense. Nonetheless, I will be back!

Hands down one of the best steaks I’ve had this year. With such a focused menu, La Vache truly masters what they do the steak was cooked absolutely to perfection. (We got it medium rare) The free-flow fries are a great touch, and the service was outstanding: attentive, proactive, and always there even before we had to ask. You genuinely get your money’s worth, and the atmosphere feels almost like stepping into Alice in Wonderland 🤣🤣. Would definitely come back!!

The restaurant is very cosy and a little loud; but still able to talk. It seems to be a popular location for birthday celebration where the service staffs (esp. Glen) are super friendly. The wine selections are good and the beef is cooked nicely which paired nicely with the unsalted fries (the salted fries are a bit too salty for my liking). Overall a good experience and worth a visit - 值得! *Small note: Covered shoes and long pants are recommended for guys - the environment is suitable!*

From the moody lighting to the low-slung leather booths, I love-love this place. Meats had great marbling & a rich, beefy flavour. We were seated unfortunately, directly under the restaurant's A/C zone — food turned cold pretty quickly. Be great if steaks are kept warm on a cast iron. Note that desserts are a separate charge!

Perfect spot for a quiet date with my partner! Very understanding and accommodating staff who had seated us first at the bar (as we were >1h early due to changes in plans) and then shifted us to a proper table. Fuss-free menu with just the entrecote paired with glorious free-flow fries. Had the cheesecake to wrap up the evening - which came with a fun surprise from the staff who knew it was a special occasion for us. Will definitely keep coming back for the food, the service and the great vibes!
