Service is great. We randomly pick it as it’s closed to our hotel and have good review. The deep fried artichokes is crispy but a bit oily. Seafood risotto is Roman style, more seafood stock based and won’t be very creamy. stracciatella di manzo is a new try to us.

Easily the best meal we had in Rome! Exquisite ravioli with sliced truffle. And amazing balsamic rosemary sauce in the beef filet! Highly recommend!!

A welcoming restaurant with kind & attentive staff. We had fried artichokes for a starter and then taglioni with asparagi and ravioli with broccoli and caccio pepe . It was all perfectly cooked and delicious. We left happy and content.

What an amazing dinner! The food is literally perfect! The staff is very sweet and friendly. We had dinner here and we took the lovely waitress’s advice. Do check the day suggestions.

We had dinner there. It was a geat place but the futccini felt a bit basic, they were home made but they laked a bit of flavor. The pizza has a great dough but the cheeses was a bit flavorless. The waiters were great

This place is just alright. It smells kinda musty in the basement. But the pizza is disgraceful. I am from Connecticut in USA and we live near New Haven known as the second pizza capital of the world. Coming to Rome the pizzas were great and delicious until I came here. Unfortunately this was my last meal in Rome and it was my worst. The pizza was not fresh, it had no taste and the cheese tasted like rubber. It had barely any sauce and the “crust” was burnt to a crisp. The waiters were very awkward they were waiting around us and we felt pressured. The waiter seemed to have asked for a tip but I don’t know if it was the language barrier. It felt like they were taking advantage of us. This place may be alright but all i have to say is “ DONT GET THE PIZZA.”

Outstanding pastas - loved the lobster pasta, the fennel and anchovy pasta and the carbonara. The antipasti were delicious, highly recommend the zucchini and calamari fritti and the truffle bruschetta. Lovely and friendly service. Highly recommend’

We were looking for a nice restaurant to dine in for our dinner and chanced upon this little beautifully lighted entrance from across the street. It is a cozy restaurant which has beautiful atmosphere and the staffs are very helpful and friendly. The food is also nice! We ordered a variety of them as you can see from the images, as we are a big group, and everyone is satisfied with the food. It is one of the nicest pasta I have eaten in Rome. There's a few other delicious pasta places which I've been to in Rome too, but this pasta is not as salty as some of the others, which I prefer. Also the staffs are all very nice and it makes the dining experience a whole lot better.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner because it was right across from our place. It was surprisingly a very pleasant meal, one of the best overall meals while in Italy. Started with some wonderful garlic bread. The salmon appetizer, flatbread pizza, and fried calamari and shrimp were some of our favorites. The pasta and ravioli were both solid choices too. The steak had a good sauce to it. The octopus carpaccio was my least favorite. The tiramisu and berry dessert cake were an excellent finish to our meal. Service was spectacular. Chef even came out to meet and greet us.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and not too crowded. Always appreciate a place when you see some locals. The Caco De Pepe is very good. Good wines at very affordable prices! Skip the truffle bruschetta!

Yelp
This was my last meal in Italy before I went home and it was definitely one of my favorites. I got the cacio e pepe and it was phenomenal! My travel buddies came as well and also loved the food. We stumbled upon the place by accident looking at the place across the street but decided to stop here instead and we were glad we did

Yelp
I was walking around Manzoni/Vittorio Emanuele subway station area around 2:30pm with an empty stomach and decided to stop by here. I ended up coming back twice to have dinner with my family. This place, in my opinion, delivers the quintessential Roman hospitality and food that they are proud of! It's been 50 yrs since the restaurant opened! DRINKS: Had whatever they had by the glass for the wine. Sparkling rose really hit the spot for me with cured fish. SERVICE: This is a family run place. The grandpa made his proud fried artichoke that was just out of this world. I have never had artichoke that's just so tender inside and pleasing when I bit into it. VERY friendly and any English speaking visitor can comfortably order food here. I just so wished I spoke Italian to be able to speak to the grandpa about food! DECOR: Beautiful Roman architecture with round arches in the basement restaurant. great display of antipasti for the day on the table and REALLY clean bathroom. PRICE: Basic pasta dishes are 9 Euro +. Specials are 12 Euro +. I think it is just about right. Pizza dishes are also about the same. The Secondi - meat and fish dishes are 12 Euro and up. Please refer to the footnotes in the pictures for the details.

Yelp
Cozy, delicious, family-run trattoria directly adjacent to Vittoria Emmanuelle metro station and a short walk from Roma Termini. Cacio e Pepe and amattriciana were delectable. Our server was remarkably courteous and graciously switched to English when she quickly discovered our nonexistent Italian! A great spot for a quiet and affordable Roman supper.

Yelp
I stumbled across this place as I was walking around the city. The atmosphere seemed inviting and after peering inside I decided that this looked like a reasonable place to have dinner. The prices are reasonable and the wine is delicious. Whenever I dine out in Rome and try a place for the first time I always get the Spaghetti Bolognese because it's a simple dish that usually let's me know if the place is worth a second try. In this case, unfortunately, it's not. If the Italian restaurant your at can't make a decent pasta your wasting your time and money, especially in Rome. The sauce was watered down and they added too much cheese (this is obvious if you note the pictures I posted) and the bruschetta was too burnt on the edges. On a positive note the wine was great and affordable. The "San Benedetto" glass bottled mineral water was the best water I have ever had, however, this is not enough to save the meal as a whole. Also the server was very polite and helpful. This may seem like a harsh review but when you are dining in Rome you have access to the best italian food in the world. When a restaurant doesn't deliver it's a waste of a meal that could of been spent in a better restaurant and there are much better paces just a few steps away.

Yelp
We first ate at this delightful restaurant 15 years ago on our first visit to Rome. The food was excellent, well prepared and of reasonable portion size. There was an extensive wine selection at reasonable prices. When we were here 15 years ago we ate at this restaurant several times and became known to the staff who treated us especially well as as if we were old friends. In addition to the various seafood specialties they serve excellent pizza on a cracker thin crust with excellent flavour. The pizza with mushrooms and arugula was one favourite and the pasta with mussels was another. The porcini tortellini was one of my favourites. We heartily recommend this Trattoria.

Yelp
Family restaurant for 50 years, the owner so nice and helped me with my Italian (piccolo). The food was very tasty, great wine and the atmosphere is quite and nice. Perfecto !! I was very happy with the place and my family too. Thank you Renato!!

Yelp
Great food. They don't really speak English so it's hard to communicate...like when we had plenty of pasta left over, we asked for box but they just thought we were done and got rid of it.

Yelp
A bit hidden at the basement level of the street, this is a tiny, cozy family-run restaurant. My girlfriend had the (off-menu) spaghetti carbonara, while I had the steak with vinegar. We chose an assortment of bruschettas as appetizer. It was a bit pricier than some other restaurants in the vicinity, but the quality was great and we really enjoyed our meals and the excellent house wine. The waiter was also very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Let me start by saying we are from NJ/NYC area so we definitely have access to great Italian food but this place was hands down excellent. We ended up going here because the place we initially heard was great was completely booked but I'm glad it was because we wouldn't have come here otherwise. Service was great and the price for 1 appetizer, 2 meals and a bottle of wine was only $50. I got the tortelloni stuffed with mushroom and my husband got the carbonara, both were excellent. I would definitely come here again.

Yelp
Sadly, this was my first disappointing meal in Italy. The food quality was pretty good, but the portion sizes were small. The ambiance was quiet and family friendly. When I mentioned to the waiter that I felt that the portions were small, he became very defensive and unpleasant. Fortunately, there are a lot of other food options in the Roma Termini area.

Yelp
This is the second time we ate here. The first was 10 years ago. We had a dish of pasta with broccoli and we referred to this restaurant as heaven. Second time around was as good. Although the gnocchi were out-shined by a restaurant off via Cavour, angolo via Frangipane Iari The Vino. The mushroom ravioli in tartufo sauce was very good
