I stumbled across this place as I was walking around the city. The atmosphere seemed inviting and after peering inside I decided that this looked like a reasonable place to have dinner.
The prices are reasonable and the wine is delicious. Whenever I dine out in Rome and try a place for the first time I always get the Spaghetti Bolognese because it's a simple dish that usually let's me know if the place is worth a second try. In this case, unfortunately, it's not.
If the Italian restaurant your at can't make a decent pasta your wasting your time and money, especially in Rome.
The sauce was watered down and they added too much cheese (this is obvious if you note the pictures I posted) and the bruschetta was too burnt on the edges.
On a positive note the wine was great and affordable. The "San Benedetto" glass bottled mineral water was the best water I have ever had, however, this is not enough to save the meal as a whole. Also the server was very polite and helpful.
This may seem like a harsh review but when you are dining in Rome you have access to the best italian food in the world. When a restaurant doesn't deliver it's a waste of a meal that could of been spent in a better restaurant and there are much better paces just a few steps away.
