La Ventana Azul Surf Hostel Gran Canaria

This has to be the best hostel I ever stayed at. I booked room Gofio and I got lucky enough to be able to choose one of the king size beds. I would totally recommend coming here. The place was really nice and very cosy plus the activities planned by the hostel made it super easy to connect with other travellers. I didn’t meet a single person that gave me bad vibes here. Everyone was extremely friendly and quite chill. I will definitely come back in the future :)

It was such a nice experience staying at this surf hostel! 🫶🏻 The people were really nice, the beds were comfortable, and staying in an 8-bed dorm with a sea view was so cool because we could hear the waves from our room. If you’re traveling solo, it’s a really good choice to come here—they have activities and a rooftop space where everyone gathers, making it easy to meet people. Thank you so much! 🏄🏻‍♀️❤️

I've been to La Ventana Azul for a solo travel and loved it. The place has great standards to be a hostel, it's quite friendly for digital nomads. I liked it so much that I stayed more than initially planned.

I stayed at this surf hostel at the end of August and had an amazing time. The location couldn’t be better. It’s literally right by the beach. The girls working here (Greta, Zoja, Selene, Vera, Lola) are super friendly and always willing to help, and the manager (Paul) was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even nicer. The place is well maintained, very clean, and the kitchen is modern and spotless. It’s also really easy to meet new people here and spend an awesome time together.

Rooms: The rooms at La Ventana Azul are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged to give you that relaxed, beachy vibe. The bunk beds are comfy, with individual lights and lockers, and there's always fresh air thanks to the ocean breeze. The rooftop terrace dorm is a unique and beautiful experience — waking up to the sound of waves is something special! Service: The staff here are absolutely incredible — warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making you feel at home. Whether you need help booking a surf class, tips on local spots, or just good conversation, they’re always available and happy to help. You can tell they love what they do. Location: The location is unbeatable — just steps away from Las Canteras Beach. You're right in the heart of the action but still feel tucked away in your own little surfy oasis. Cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, and surf schools are all within walking distance. Perfect for solo travelers and digital nomads! This hostel truly captures the spirit of Gran Canaria — relaxed, welcoming, and full of positive energy.

I loved my stay at this hostel!! It was so welcoming and relaxing and right by the beach. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cute place to stay. The people were also so kind.

Phenomenal hostel! I stayed in the women's bunk and it was super nice. They have a great system for guests to arrive. The staff (Paul, Merit, and Anna) are all very professional and kind. The kitchen is complete for cooking. The bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day and function well. The location is extremely close to an amazing beach. There are many places to buy food in the neighborhood.

This place is an absolute dream! The structure is amazing and it's just a few steps from the ocean. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed like family and the atmosphere is always warm and full of good vibes. It’s very easy to meet people and make new friends (also because of weekly hostel activities). The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. It's the kind of place where you feel at home and never want to leave. I’ll definitely be coming back!🥰
