We just got married at La Ventura last month and it was an absolute dream! The owner and team are kind and professional, and they work hard to make sure your wedding runs smoothly. I was slightly worried about the compact nature of the venue, but that ended up being one of our favorite things about it on the wedding day! The space feels personal and intimate, and the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces flow together seamlessly. The colors and the lighting at the venue make for incredible photos, and they even bring you down to the beach for photos, which was so fun! La Ventura has their own bar and food catering and it is both convenient and incredible. The food was so good, and our guests have been raving about the dinner, drinks, and service of the staff. We are so glad we chose La Ventura as our wedding venue and would recommend this beautiful space to anyone looking to get married in San Clemente or Orange County!

Consolidated Contracting Services, Inc. has hosted multiple corporate events at La Ventura Event Center, including our annual Company Christmas party and key company-wide meetings. I cannot recommend this venue, its staff, and its location highly enough. The space strikes the perfect balance between elegance and professionalism, making it ideal for both celebratory and strategic gatherings. The team at La Ventura is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and attentive—consistently ensuring that our events run smoothly and exceed expectations.

La Ventura Event Center is an absolute dream for weddings! The Spanish-style architecture, intimate courtyard, and warm lighting create the perfect romantic backdrop for photos. As a wedding photographer, I appreciate how seamless the venue flow is, making it easy to capture every special moment. La Ventura is an absolute hidden gem. We were looking to have a micro wedding with only 50 people and this place had the perfect package. They also accommodate larger regular sized wedding. The venue is so beautiful on its own. Such incredible backgrounds for wedding photos. Amy, Mackenzie, and the team were so incredible to work with. I felt like a princess on my wedding day - everyone so nice and willing to help with anything I needed. We received so many compliments on our venue and the food and cocktails were incredible. The space is so accommodating to any type of vendor you want to bring in for your wedding. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and would recommend this venue to anyone getting married!

Our school just had our annual gala fundraiser for the 2nd year in a row at La Ventura and it was wildly successful both years. The attendees love the venue, it's beautiful and can be turned into anything you can imagine. Makenzie is a pleasure to work with, she's responsive, supportive, easy to reach and provides super helpful suggestions for a successful event. The event staff was pleasant, helpful and made for a super enjoyable experience for everyone. Highly recommend this venue!

We had our wedding here in August 2022, and truly had the best experience. Our friends and family had the best time, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to host our event at La Ventura. Would recommend! With the pandemic postponing our original date, La Ventura and the staff here were so accommodating and helpful. The team here is so genuine, positive, warm, and caring, and truly know how to deliver and guide you through the whole crazy wedding process. Communication with them was so easy. The venue is beautiful, so you don't need to do much at all in terms of decor. The catering/food was delicious. They have great attention to detail. The staff / team they have are really great and friendly. Parking is limited, so valet is required for larger events. Also you do need to factor in additional cost for rentals (flatware, linens, etc), but they contract directly with a company which at least makes it one less thing for you to do. All in all, well worth it!

I cannot say enough good things about La Ventura. Amy, Makenzie, and all the other staff are amazing. They were all so professional and friendly from when we booked the venue back in summer 2022 till after the wedding was over in November 2023. Amy was honest and upfront from the beginning: no surprise fees or weird caveats in the contracts. She was also very frank about what add-ons we might want (or not want!), and we never felt like she was pushing us to spend more money or make any decisions we didn't want. During the wedding, there was a pretty significant hiccup with one of the other vendors, but the La Ventura staff handled it like champs - my husband and I had no idea there were any issues until they mentioned it after the wedding, as they kept everything running so smoothly. (Major kudos to their catering manager, whose name I can't remember...!) Plus the food was SO delicious. Our DJ even mentioned that he loves doing weddings here because he knows he'll get a great meal out of it! If we had to do it all again, I'd pick La Ventura without a doubt. 10/10.

Just had my wedding here last night and it went absolutely amazing! Amy and Havila were super helpful getting us set up with what we wanted and Sean crushed it as our officiant/bartender! The night went great and the entire staff was amazing and I wish I could totally do it over again and again because it was that awesome!

My wedding on 12/5/20 was PERFECT because of La Ventura! I could not have asked for a better day! The service and the attention to detail was beyond every expectation I had. I cannot wait to celebrate year 10 at La Ventura again.

We had to cancel our original plans for my sisters wedding 2 weeks before the event day. LUCKILY, we stumbled on La Ventura! They helped us pull off a miracle in 2020! The staff was INCREDIBLE, the setting is gorgeous, their suggested vendors were all simply the best! We all left saying we cannot wait to have another event there. Thank you Amy and staff - it could not have been more perfect!

I attended a Celebration of Life yesterday for a dear friend at the La Ventura Event Center. To begin with, La Ventura is a beautiful venue...but that is secondary to the incredible, professional staff. Everything was extraordinary. The food served was presented beautifully and was delicious. There were over three hundred people in attendance and there was not one single glitch, not one detail overlooked...simply amazing. Amy, you did a fantastic job as did your Chef, Bartenders, and Servers. You should be immensely proud. Thank you, for putting together such a beautiful Celebration of Life.

Our son and daughter-in-law had their wedding and reception at La Ventura this last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone commented what a super fun and well coordinated event it was. The food was excellent, they were incredibly organized and the staff was amazing. The bartenders were fun and did a fabulous job. Todd, the DJ with Epic Entertainment was such a low key and funny guy, and the wedding coordinator Ashley was incredibly patient and wonderful. We recommend this venue to anyone for any kind of an event.

Amy has been unbelievably helpful during our wedding planning period this past year during the COVID pandemic.  We originally had set the date for May 2021 but due to COVID and numerous guests coming in from out of town we had to postpone to NOV 2021.  When we asked Amy if we could postpone she was very open and flexible to our needs.  There were no change fees and she was very understanding of our situation.  It was a huge relief with her being so understandable because we have not had that from other business owners during the covid pandemic.  We are looking forward to our wedding later this fall in La Ventura! Thank you Amy and your awesome team for making this wedding planning season less stressful!

I had the pleasure of working with Amy and her team as a wedding coordinator and was truly blown away by how accommodating and personable Amy was throughout the whole process. Beautiful venue that has thought out every element that goes into welcoming your guests, wedding party preparation, ceremony, reception and locations for pictures. The menu is customizable and does not have that corporate feel, you get what you and your partner are looking for to represent the foods that you both love and the vibe for your special day. We had our daughter's wedding here two weeks ago and couldn't be happier with our experience. Amy was great! We had Melanie as our coordinator extraordinaire! She handled everything with grace and ease. The venue was lovely. We are still smiling!

My husband and I held our intimate wedding here a month ago, and it was absolutely beautiful. After our first visit to La Ventura we fell in love with the stunning venue. The staff was so easy to work with, and everyone was delightful. The food was truly memorable, and our guests said it was the best they ever had. Everything turned out amazing, and I cannot thank LV enough for such a memorable occasion.

My Wedding DJ company Diamond Entertainment just worked at a wedding at the La Ventura Event Center, and we have nothing but great things to say! DJ Steve was the DJ and reported loving working with Amy and her team! We are looking forward to working with them again in the future!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at La Ventura Event Center this past November. It was wonderful! Lisa, the owner, was so easy to work with and always very responsive throughout the entire planning process. Iva Lee's was our caterer and Lisa's team over there is phenomenal as well. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were efficient (as far as we saw and heard from our guests). We had 174 guests and the dance floor got pretty packed, so just keep that in mind for capacity when you are planning. The facilities themselves are perfect for a wedding - the outdoor courtyard with fireplace, the foyer to the bridal suite and even the restrooms. One thing we were initially concerned about when booking LV as our venue was the fact that it is located right on El Camino Real, so when touring we heard all the cars going by. During our cocktail hour, with the music and chatter you couldn't hear a thing on the street! My husband and I definitely recommend La Ventura for anyone considering holding their wedding or reception in the San Clemente area!

Attended a wedding on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at La Ventura in San Clemente, CA and had a great time. Directions to the location was easy. Valet service was very good. The courtyard where the ceremony was held was a good size and fit all the guests. The ballroom had plenty of room for everyone and nice dance floor. Restrooms were clean. The only negative thing I noticed was it's close proximity to the main road and a couple of roaring motorcycles can be heard during the ceremony and a lack of natural and water views being so close to the beach. But great food and nice staff always makes for a great time!

This place is beautiful, so ill give it two stars. However, the management and coordination are horrible to deal with. Before signing the contract to have our wedding there, I wish I would have known that they have a habit and reputation to change and go against their contract with you; they are not prompt with their communication. During the most uncertain time in all of our lives (the pandemic), they did not return our deposit nor even acknowledge that we were reaching out to cancel our wedding for the safety of our family and friends. After all, the venue did not enforce covid regulations. After speaking with our attorney, I have learned how poor their contract was, and frankly, I wish we would have had her look over it before signing it in the first place.

Beautiful venue! We had to postpone our daughter's wedding multiple times due to Covid. Amy was very patient and understanding throughout the whole planning process.

Amy and her team blew us away. We planned our whole wedding in less than four months and it's thanks to this team that made it so seamless. We toured one venue, this one, and knew it was right. After looking at so many online that had so many different variables + were so pricey for just the bare bones. La Ventura was an obvious choice. Beautiful and the exact Spanish Style I had dreamed of - close to the beach so we got incredible photos for our romantics. Amy and her team run this venue like nothing I'd experienced, her team kept the event running smoothly and seamlessly. We had the best day and I know so much of that is due to the work behind the scenes by the team at La Ventura. Food was incredible also - everyone loved it.

Although I did not rent this venue, I attended a wedding here and it was amazing. The property is a hidden paradise. Everything is high quality and beautiful. The reception area, dance floor and outside area were spectacular. Not the mention the bar tender named Sean crafted perfect drinks all night long! If I ever get married this is where I am tying the knot!

La Ventura is an awesome facility, at a beautiful location, with a wonderful coordinator and service reps. Every single person that worked there was so helpful and happy and provided exceptional service. The decorations and ambiance was beyond expectations. There was a huge dance floor that we filled all through the night (no one was sitting). Thank you La Ventura and Bonnie (coordinator) for an unforgettable event! My husband and I were the first couple to officially get married at La Ventura. We fell in love with the venue when it was still a construction site. The vibe of the building and Spanish romantic feel was perfect. We couldn't have been more impressed with the food (which is cooked onsite in their huge kitchen, major plus). They offer valet for events which was perfect and added a special touch for our guests. The staff is extremely friendly and very easy to work with. I decided to rent an alter at the last minute and they handled it for me. Everything from the lighting to the acoustics really set the mood for a fantastic wedding. We could not have been more impressed and happy with our choice. Believe it or not it is extremely affordable as well. If you're looking to wow your guests whether it be for an event or wedding this is truly going to become the new hotspot, so hurry up and book it ASAP! Thank you La Ventura team and to Lisa Wagner for making our special day absolutely seamless.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here on autumn equinox (9/22/18). I can't believe how many compliments we received about the venue. We had cocktail hour out on the patio by the fire. The reception was inside and it was the best day of my life! The venue is Spanish influenced and SUPER ROMANTIC. We still havent gotten all our photos from our photographer yet, so I just posted the ones I have from our guests. My sister was able to do a slideshow with their projector. Lisa, the manager, was incredibly accommodating. She helped me pin up my dress for the first dance when the bustle was too long. She also allowed us to come in super early to do hair and makeup when it was before the allotted time on the contract. Her recommended event coordinator, Bonnie, was also AMAZING. I have so many great things to say about this venue. Definitely check them out and book early because they book up fast! You wont regret it. Im still daydreaming about my wedding day today, and probably forever. Thank you La Ventura for making my dream wedding come true!!

The wedding reception as fantastic. The food and service were amazing. The place looked so beautiful at night. Lisa was such a pleasure to work with that I would recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding.
