10/10! After watching the Sopranos we needed some Italian food to scratch the itch. The lobster ravioli was the best I’ve ever had & the spaghetti with meatballs was great, the meatballs were bigger than my hand! Loved the atmosphere and thanks to Katrina and Chris we had a fabulous dinner!

Had such a lovely dinner here! The vibes were super warm and romantic low lighting, great music, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay and sip wine all night. I ordered the eggplant parm and gnocchi, and both were incredible. The eggplant was perfectly crispy on the outside and so tender inside, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The gnocchi? Light, pillowy, and coated in the most delicious sauce definitely some of the best I’ve had. Our waiter, Chris, was amazing too. Super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and gave great recommendations. If you’re looking for a cozy Italian spot with great food and great service, this place is it. Definitely coming back!

This is the prettiest resturant in pompano. The hostess Rose was so impressive. She had a very detailed , extensive knowledge of everything on the menu, not to mention the wine list. She was very personable and engaging in conversation with us. The carbanara was authentic as it gets...not cream in this dish....just pure egg yolks like it was meant to be!!! The in house lemoncello recipe was the best most refreshing drink I have ever had. Thank you to you and your staff for a great experience. Rose even talked us to coming back this weekend to enjoy the live music they offer on the weekends.

First and foremost: The lamb, AMAZING! 😘 The staff, superb, especially the host. His energy was so welcoming and personable that it was like greeting a friend. The ambiance was the icing on the cake. That courtyard took be back to Verona. ⚠️ One piece of advice, if you do not want your photos to be washed in pink, use a flash, Lol. I wore a fuchsia pink dress and ended up with zero contrast 😂

We recently moved to the area, so decided to give this place a try! Beautiful building and always wanted to check it out. Amazing food, from the octopus, steak, snapper,, wine, expresso martini! But above all, the service, the staff was impeccable! Attention to details, what a memorable evening!!

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I would!! Let me just start by saying thank you! Thank you to the staff and chef for such a wonderful dinner. My husband and I came here for the very 1st time last night to celebrate our anniversary and it truly was amazing. From the atmosphere, to the staff and the food! It was all around amazing! Our waiter Johnny was phenomenal, he apologized to us more than he needed to for the long wait but it honestly was not a bother to us. Gave us more time to talk, relax and enjoy the night. Not to mention, the wait truly is worth it once the food comes out and you take that first bite! The food was made to perfection, the drinks were refreshing and tasty and the dessert, boy could I write a paragraph about the Flan! I have never, in my 30 years, tasted a flan that delicious. Every single bite was better than the last. Kudos to the chef!!! Rose was so wonderful and sweet. She recommended “after dinner” drinks that were delicious. Johnny, not knowing my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, came out with a “Happy Anniversary” plate with the desserts we ordered which really made our night. Again, thank you all for making our first experience a phenomenal one, you guys are amazing! We most definitely will be back.

La Veranda is a must-try! We were greeted so warmly it felt like we were old friends catching up, and once we mentioned it was our first visit, they went above and beyond to give us the perfect table. We had a great view of both the live show and the charming courtyard. Our waitress was a true professional—very knowledgeable and efficient. The food was delicious, and the freshly made pasta was incredible with generous portions. The drinks were strong and well-made, and our food arrived quickly. This spot is a blend of cozy, romantic, and to our delight had unexpected rock-and-roll edge. It's truly a unique and special place. We'll definitely be back soon.

Google
went for date night it was OK the food took extremely long and on top of that it was very salty… waitress kept making sarcastic jokes that weren’t funny at all. Other than that drinks were good just not worth the $20 tag in my opinion. Other than that some positive , really nice ambience , had live music.

Yelp
This place apparently is a staple and well known place in pompano beach. They say they are under new management and you can tell. Part of the restaurant is a dark classy dinner place. The other part is like a lounge? I'm not sure what it is but they play live music and the decor is very much different. The food however was so good and be prepared to eat because the portions are so large! Even the desserts. The drink was good, except that it was so strong so the added more juice. The service was also great! I cannot remember our server I think it was Chris was but he was phenomenal. The only thing is the lighting it's so hard to see and I have 20/15 vision so I had to use my phones flashlight.

Yelp
First, second (and last x) = Slow & horrendous service. Foods ok. Will I give it a shot again? Nope.

Yelp
VIBES: 2/5 FOOD: 4/5 DRINKS: 2/5 SERVICE: 3/5 VALUE: 3/5 This place has an old-school, traditional Italian feel. There was a live pianist, although lively is one of the last words I would use to describe this place. The focaccia bread was delicious, although the waiter did not bring out any more after I had asked a few times. The cocktails were all pretty terrible, I would not recommend any and would suggest a beer or wine instead. I enjoyed the food - I had chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti, although I think the overall vibes are really lacking here for me.

Yelp
Was just exploring the other night and came across this interesting restaurant. The outside had this purple lighting splashed across the front of the building. The inside was cozy. Decided to order a drink; wow, it took forever to get my drink and it wasn't even busy. Didn't order any food so can't comment on that area. Other reviews seem to be mixed, so I'm wondering the reason for the uneven experiences. The only thing I can come up with was that their standards are uneven across their staff. It was okay for me because I just had a drink; for folks dining it could be a disappointment. This restaurant has a lot of potential for great things; just have to up their game and standardize across their entire staff. They have the ambiance down, so the rest should not be a great hurdle. I wish them the best of luck.

Yelp
They have this cute entrance to take photos and then once you get to the back of the building is like you were teleported out of Florida! (Except for the heat ) It the nicest restaurant inside and out that I have seen in the area. It's the place for date night for sure! We sat outside that day and it wasn't as hot as I thought it would be and the service was great! The food was tasteful but expensive. It was definitely a romantic date night go to!

Yelp
We parked in the rear parking lot and saw the vespas. Then we walked in and saw the pay phone and knew we were in for a unique dining experience. We were seated quickly and given a table with a view of the alfresco supper room. Our server is Italian and welcomed us with water and basket of bread. We noshed on small bread bites and cut & airy, focaccia bread with hints of garlic dusted with parmesan cheese. Our server went over the specials in great detail. We were overwhelmed and realized we were not in Kansas, anymore. We started off with the burrata special. The pouch of mozzarella revealed a center of stracciatella and clotted cream that I last had at my local formaggiaio in Philadelphia. The burrata was resting on spring mixed greens, dashed with EVOO and chopped basil, surrounded by sliced wedges of tomatoes in red and yellow with a generous serving of reduced balsamic vinegar, thick and tasty. With each bite, my taste buds exploded with buttery, milky, and sweet deliciousness. Main course was salt baked branzino, served with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and sautéed broccoli rabe. Our server impressed us by cracking the salt shell open right at our table! The salt layer insulates and flavors the branzino from the outside while fresh herbs flavor from the inside. The fish, drizzled with EVOO, was melt in my mouth tender bites, full of flavor and NOT salty. The potatoes were creamy seasoned with garlic. The asparagus was grilled perfectly tender with dash of salt & pepper. The broccoli rabe sautéed with just the right amount of garlic chips. The chef checked on us to confirm our satisfaction but it did not end there...dessert. Our eyes widened to the choices. We wanted to sample all but resided on the Cassata Siciliana, "a sweet pastry with ricotta filling, almond and citrus essence with chocolate chips". In all my years of eating, buying, and preparing Italian foods, I have never tasted such creamy delight. It was a blend of almond, citrus, bite of cacao with a hint of sweetness. It was a perfect ending to a great evening. Grazie.

Yelp
This is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant. Second time here. Coming from 30 years living on Bleecker St next to Little Italy, NYC, this is the best Italian food we've had. Service impeccable and warm from Christopher. Staff all 5 star. Met owner and the chef-fabulous intimate ambiance. We can't wait to return. They do make you feel like family. The food was from heaven. The drinks were wonderful. Live piano, singer- you can't do any better. Check out the YouTube vid from PBS Check Please, S Florida Dining. Link on their website.

Yelp
Went here while on family vacation in pompano. The vibe of this place was awesome, we weren't expecting what we walked into! The comfy suede chairs, ambient lighting, all of it was great. Now onto the meals- we're a big Italian family so we were ready to see what this place was about! My family got a mix of pastas, seafood specials and filets. No one had a single complaint about the food and honestly, it might have been the first time everyone was quiet stuffing their face. I had the spaghetti and polpette and the meatballs were HUGE but so delicious. The whipped ricotta on top was the perfect touch. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
So fresh and so yum! Huge portions excellent service. The vibe inside is also romantic and inviting. Our first visit here and we were blown away. We have very high expectations with Italian food and based on this visit the restaurant exceeded them! We can't wait to return and check out their love entertainment and more menu items! Everything tasted fresh and homemade.

Yelp
Wow! Just wow. When you walk in you are taken through a small quaint what looks like an Italian alley way. Into the restaurant. The restaurant takes you back to someone's backyard but also to someone's cute romantic intimate stage restaurant. They do have live local bands Fridays and Saturday's. Service: The service started off a little slow but once we were attended to it was beyond amazing. The waitress presented us with all the options available and even helped us pair a wine with our food. Food: The bolognese was sooooo good! It was meaty and the red sauce tasted like it was made from Scratch. My boyfriend tried their pear pasta which was in a white sauce. SO DIFFERENT BUT DELICIOUS! who would've thought pear and cheese go so well together. It was like a stuffed ravioli. Ambiance: We went on a Thursday around 8pm. They allowed us to stay past closing time and even sang me happy birthday! It is vey intimate and not as busy on a Thursday. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I have eaten meals around the world, and I can say without hesitation, I had the best meal in my life. Stuffed artichoke, to the best (specially prepared) grilled octopus to the best lamb chops on the planet, beating any Greek restaurant in Chicago! (not an easy thing to accomplish). Owner was personable and the staff equally as nice. Anywhere in the area, DO NOT PASS UP LA VERANDA!
google avatar

Maria R.

Yelp
If you order a "special" be aware of the prices.....$58 and $68!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Food was good, not outrageous, service was terrible. Table of 7, none of us will ever go back. Used to be good!

Yelp
Such a beautiful restaurant for two ,alone or a party celebration. Good food, great service by Christine tonite and wonderful Sinatra type live music.

Yelp
"When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine, thats Amore "- That's Amore. Dean Martin Date Night is a warm feeling moved by taste, sound and ambiance- La Veranda met my expectations tonight. Chelsea was wonderful! Had reservation, seated right away close to the music as requested, however didn't realize it'll be too loud to have normal conversation. Owner happened to stop by, Hubby asked about table numbers in the back for next time, and he moved us there instead. Very unexpected and appreciated! Wine: Josh Cab Sauv Appetizer: Mussels/Red sauce paired with fresh bread. Hubby: Lasgna Della Mamma Me: Paccheri Shrimp/Vodka sauce We savored every bite, tasting each other's dish and finished the bottle. Ambiance: The move to the back/ left room to the stage, made it all the better. Music isnt as loud as it is close to the stage. The owner, i think his name is Giuseppe (if not mistaken) is a good singer/piano player - smokey & raspy voice..ill see if i can post the video i took with his bird-Gino (i think that his name) perched on his shoulder. Tricia Danieli has a wonderful warm full bodied voice as well, reminds of Amy Winehouse. Absolutely loved the experience and recommend to anyone seeking date night ideas. Good for groups too. Will be back to enjoy dinner in the courtyard.

Yelp
Two friends and I went here to celebrate a birthday. I loved the ambiance, with the dim lights, music memorabilia, and cozy atmosphere. They brought us bread including garlic and brioche. The bread was delicious. I ordered the wild mushroom risotto for my entree. It was a very large portion, but it was bland. I had some of the leftovers for lunch today and tried adding salt, but it was still bland. The price was $29, and for a non-meat or seafood meal, I expected more. My friend thought his meal was average also. The service was ok, but not great. The server was really friendly and sweet, but we waited a while to get service and I don't believe she checked on our meal after it came out. I think La Veranda would be good for a romantic dinner, however, I think the chef and management should look into the entrees and the service.

Yelp
Live locally and a few people have recommended La Veranada. Table for 4 a Tuesday night outside in the courtyard. Parking lot located behind the building with direct entrance just East of the building. Very Tuscany, dark and romantic. * Weekend they have live music after a certain hour, turns it a lounge/bar. Sadly, Maybe it was just the slow vibe on a Tuesday night but our waiter showed his boredom with his 1 tone for the specials, and a bland table talk. Our table had the bolognese, chicken francese and the pasta i calarmai. The pasta calamari was supposed to come in a spicy marinara but they missed the spice to the grain of salt. With additional disappointment we shared a $40 bottle of Josh Cabernet . In walegreens in a $7.99 dollar.... Everyone else's meals seem to have been enjoyed. I would recommend the chicken francese. I did not say anything about my meal as the other entrees were fine. I assumed this is the way it came and was very disappointed. I'll give this spot another try as it did come highly recommended.

Yelp
We had dinner here twice in the last 6 months. Our 1st experience was absolutely fantastic. The food, service & ambiance was the best. My wife said the eggplant parmigiana was the best she had ever had. Our 2nd experience was not so great regarding the food but the service & ambiance were great. My wife had the same eggplant parmigiana which came out cold. I had the Cioppino which was really kind of bland. I doubt we will go back. We have many other Italian restaurants to go to that have consistency with their food that was lacking here.

Yelp
So happy we discovered this spot! My husband and I always love a date night spot that has a fun atmosphere, and this place hits the mark. We arrived around 8 on a Friday night, but we were able to snag a table after only a short time at the bar. The inside area near the lounge is a great spot to sit, especially when there is live music. The singer was great, and the volume was perfect to still enjoy a meal and conversation. However, we were also near the courtyard, which is beautiful. The cold was pretty good. We started with the culmination, which was perfectly breaded and paired with a great sauce. The homemade pasta is excellent, and my husband really enjoyed his bolognese sauce. The Bronzino was pretty good, although the sauce was a bit heavy. Overall, the atmosphere here can't be beat, and we will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
We thought it would be fun to try this restaurant as we drove by often. Checked online before and it seemed to have plenty of openings for reservations so did not officially book one. We arrived and were seated outside in the garden even though we asked for inside but were told it was busy. Hmmm. Overall the experience was meh. Service was average to absent. Caesar salad was fresh and tasty but we were not offered anchovies and I missed them. My husband's lasagna was excellent. The Linguine Positano marinara was dry and we thought the shellfish was off in freshness and an odd fishy taste . I asked for extra sauce and it came out cold. The bread was tasty. Honestly I'd like to thank Rose at the bar and Christopher the new waiter of 3 days who made an extra effort to make us feel appreciated and thanked us for our patience. Thank you.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at our favorite "first date" restaurants. We were delighted with the food and service. The look has been updated and the food remains exceptional. Our server John was very attentive and quick to bring any special requests. I had the Pappardelle Boscaiola and my wife had the Oreccchiette Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. Both were delicious and very nice portions. Everyone was very nice and made our anniversary celebration special .

Yelp
As good as it gets. It's not just dinner. It's an experience. Live music !!! Go on Friday to be amazed by Tricia DANIELI's voice. BRAVO !!!

Yelp
The restaurant had a beautiful atmosphere, but the food was absolutely horrible. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer the menu says crisp, it came out soft. We sent it back and it came out hot but not crispy. For the main course we ordered a sea food soup. The squid was hard and very very salty. On the side, we ordered an order of pasta with marinara sauce. The pasta was so uncooked, and the marinara was right out of a can. I didn't even taste like it had any seasoning anything it was very very bad. The waiter never came and asked if we'd like cheese on the pasta. We would not recommend or go back again they need a new chef.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant tonight for my aunt's birthday and WOW. The absolute best authentic Italian restaurant I've been to, and I'm a South Florida native. The vibe and ambiance of this restaurant was so incredibly unique, the service was impeccable, and the owner- I mean seriously, by far the most personable, humorous, welcoming, & friendly guy. The food was absolutely outstanding, you're really paying for a real, authentic Italian dish. The best part of the night was the live music. Everyone was singing along, dancing, we had an incredible time and we will absolutely be back!

Kathleen R.

Yelp
I was in town to see my son and we wanted to go somewhere special. La Veranda was a great choice. The presentation of the lobster fettuccine special was amazing. Christopher made this a memorable experience... Will definitely be returning!
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
The patio was pleasant but it ended there. The service from Johnny was less than terrible. Waited almost 2 plus hours for a pasta dish and chicken dish. Asked multiple times for bread it was finally brought out after 50 minutes. When inquired with Johnny why tables that came in well after us were served dinner he got very argumentative. Told us for an hour the food was coming. As we just got up to leave after a 1:50 minute wait the manager offered a drink or dessert. At that point the manager seemed to get after the kitchen with a week excuse that the chicken was prepared yesterday so it was a problem getting it made last night. Then why was it offered as a special? Overall food fair service absolutely terrible. Always like to try new places while I'm here for the winter this is a 1 and done.

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing. The food is out of this world. My boyfriend and I love coming here on dates. I also make it a point to bring my family when they visit from out of town. I 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Wow. Everything homemade. Everything delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. I recommend this place for anyone looking for an intimate, romantic date night. Service, food, atmosphere. Check. Check. Check. Nailed it. We will be back.

Fran P.

Yelp
Very slow service. The waiter kept saying the bread was in the oven and took time.... Unacceptable.... And then we never saw the waiter . Ambiance in patio was breathtaking however too too slow. Owner was very rude when approached politely to offer feedback. Never recommending this place and should've believed the reviews.
google avatar

Mel P.

Yelp
Very old school Italian. They are doing the food and service right. Homemade pasta, tasty sauces and meat cooked to perfection. Inside was a little dark but seating is also available on the patio. Live music starts in the later evening. Very accommodating but definitely more of an old time feel. Portions are extremely large. I would almost prefer a smaller portion and a slight price cut.

Yelp
This place is incredible. Really enjoyed our meal here. Drove passed several times on way home from pier in pompano and the look of the building was intriguing. Finally said let's go to a new place for anniversary dinner and chose La Veranda. Really great decision. From the moment we walked in we were told it was going to be a special evening for us since my wife was asked when making the reservation if it was going to be a special occasion. The service was efficient and friendly. Server was always on top of it and made sure we had everything we wanted. The hosts who I believe to be the owners, also make sure everything is perfect. Enjoyed our multiple conversations as the rounds were made. The food was incredible. Delicious. Homemade pasta. Spaghetti carbonara was so good, you can taste and know that the pasta is home made. Veal chop cooked to perfection melted like butter when eating. And a happy anniversary song with a piece of cheesecake was also a very nice and delicious way to cap our time there. The musician was talented playing the piano and the ambience made me feel like I was very far away from home. Very cool. This will now be our Italian spot. Really happy about everything and can't wait to go back again. Thank you La Veranda for making our special night PERFECT. 5 Stars easily.

Yelp
I love the ambiance here! We ate outdoors due to COVID. I made the reservation through Yelp and recieved an email confirmation for it. The service here was impeccable. I loved my meal! I had the rigatoni alla vodka with chicken. The sauce was delicious and the pasta is homemade. My boyfriend had fiocchetti (pear with four cheese). It was so good. We were there for Mother's Day with my mother. I would recommend coming here, particularly for the beautiful outdoor area.

Yelp
I have waited all my life to eat here and tonight we did. We were celebrating my godsons/ 2nd cousins birthday. He chose the spot. We sat at the bar and had a drink before we went to our table in the courtyard. The weather was beautiful. The have either indoor or outdoor dining and a swanky velvety piano bar lounge. We ordered three appetizers. I had the clams oreganata..they were good. The clams were fresh and covered with bread crumbs (I cant say I tasted any oregano at all in the clams or the bread crumbs), an order of snails (escargot) were also delicious and plentiful. There must have been 15 escargot in the bowl they brought to the table, and an order of the bruschetta. All were very tasty. The bruschhetta had several different toppings. I loved the roasted rad pepper topping the most. While we waited for our entrees the manager and our waiter Johnny brought a round of Limoncello shots. Thanks they were very good! Then out came our main entrees. I chose the veal saltimbocca . Veal medallions covered in a brown sauce that tasted like carrots..topped with mozzarella and spinach. I personally didnt like the tastes of the sauce. My guests had the veal chop which was huge and delicious, the chicken Francese and that was tasty and the oso bucca (veal shank) with risotto which also was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entree. I didnt and they removed it from our bill. We ordered dessert and I got the panacotta which was delicious creamy pudding topped with berries that was delicious, casada cake which was outstanding (cream and cake is always delicious), and the flan which was also delicious. The service by johnny was 5 stars! The food was a 4 star and the restaurants ambiance was a five star! I actually didnt notice the wait between our appetizers and the entrees but my guests did and they thought thast is why the manager brought us the complimentary shots. All in all the night was great despite me not liking my entree. I am a picky eater and the taste of carrots in the brown sauce ruined it for me. You may like it, I didnt. Everything else was outstanding! After waiting 40 years to try this south florida landmark I wasnt disappointed i just didnt like the taste of the sauce on my veal. I would recommend La Veranda to anyone looking for a good meal. Just remember the sauce tasted like carrots on the saltimbocca veal dish. Just not one of my favorite tastes but not bad at all. Go in and try La Veranda for yourself! It was good! I will say that.

Yelp
This is a very romantic location for a good authentic Italian meal. Be prepared to go on the weekends when you can have entertainment. Family run beautiful ambience a bit pricey, but well worth it.

Yelp
Great ambiance and great food. I went with my husband for our anniversary and they made the occasion feel extra special 100% recommend.

Yelp
We came here to meet the owner, Giuseppe, and to deliver tow beautiful Testi di Moro from Sicilia. The atmosphere and staff are stupendous - it's like visiting someone's home! The food is exquisite - my husband is from Apuglia and has a Sicilian mother - the food here is like a trip to the South of Italy! Just com where! Live music, too!

Yelp
My server Chris made the evening fantastic! He was attentive to everything we needed in the celebration of my friends birthday tonight. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I had the snapper oreganato and it was absolutely delicious. Christopher was my server and he was a Broward county native and told us all the hot spots in town. He was super pleasant to have. Thank you!

Yelp
The patio is lovely but it ended there. Service was awful. We were there well over 2 hours and all of the diners around us who arrived after us were served. I spoke to the manager who was indifferent and offered a free drink or dessert. As for the food the pasta didn't taste homemade and was smothered with a thick layer of gloppy cheese. My friend had the chicken special which was fair but very pricey for a chicken breast and a few roasted potatoes. There's lots of great Italian places around so skip this one.

Yelp
i absolutely loved the vibe of this restaurant!! it was such a cute little place and the decor and employees make it feel so homey! i would love to come back here one day! the food was delicious! the desserts were really good too and they play you a cute happy birthday song! was a really great and fun experience! i definitely recommend coming here!!!

Yelp
Celebrated our 20 year anniversary at this restaurant. Wanted to try this place for years. The ambiance was very nice with live music. The dim lights made it very romantic perfect for a date night. And the food was great. However the service was so terrible it ruined the entire experience for us. The waiter was horrible. Didn't go over any special or the menu at all. You can tell he was bothered and had an attitude. We ordered an appetizer which was amazing and not even 5 min later he brought out our meals. Set our food at a corner of the table and said that's what happens when you order the octopus. We rushed through our appetizer, so our meals wouldn't get cold. To top it all off there was a piece of plastic, from the top of the wine bottle, in my husband wine glass. When we brought it to his attention, his response was, yeah that happens and walked away. Had absolutely no conversation with us or apologize for anything. So many year wanting to try this place just to have a bad experience. Wouldn't go again

Yelp
While on vacation we went to La Veranda for the best Italian food I have had in a long time. Our personable server suggested Eggplant and for my husband escargot.. The food was wonderful and our server Christopher was personable and very knowledgeable The surprise of the day was that the entertainment was good with the piano player having a 3 foot bird on his shoulder the entire evening. The bartender was wonderful while we waited for our table. The ambiance and Christopher and the food was amazing we will definitely be back before we go home. Wow what a great time we had.

Yelp
We've seen this place so many time, but finally got the chance to eat there. The ambiance when you walk in is so pretty! The cute lights and landscaping definitely made it. They had a live singer who was in the Halloween spirit, so listening to some great old songs were perfect. We ordered the grilled octopus and were not disappointed. It was tender on a bed of greens with chickpeas and a light vinaigrette. The lasagna was hearty with lots of cheese. My seafood medley was abundant, and I tried eating all of it! The fettuccine bolonaise was amazing with lots of sauce. We ordered desserts, too. The tiramisu was light and fluffy, and the cheesecake was firm and tasty. Great drinks to choose from with the Halloween motif, and their waitstaff was attentive and so friendly. If you've been skeptical because of the old style building, don't be! Bon appétit!

Yelp
I really enjoyed everything we ate at La Veranda, our grilled octopus appetizer was delicious, great for sharing, we had a group of three people. The carbonara and the lobster ravioli were also so tasty. We came here for an early dinner on a Saturday night and it looked like they were setting up for a band/musician to come in later in the night so I would recommend calling ahead to make reservations during that time. They also have a charming outdoor seating area which looked so sweet and intimate. We'll definitely be back to watch a show and try more pastas!

Yelp
We had not been here on a Saturday night before, it was very busy but in a good way! The live music was great. Our service was attentive especially considering how busy it was. David, I'm not sure his role, but he was amazing! He came over frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and despite the busy environment, he was very attentive and cool headed. We will be back!
