Simply a beautiful resort located on the beach on the spectacular Phu Quoc island. This was probably my 6th or 7th stay so obviously I love the place. |The bungalows are large with huge 4 poster bed and a bathroom that includes a large shower and larger tub - big enough for anyone. |The whole resort is set on an old plantation with the bungalows nestled in amongst the greenery. All the usual 5* facilities are provided, huge pool, magnificent wellness centre(spa), breakfast buffet & restaurant. But i recommend having a few cocktails at beachside area which has a covered area as well. Staff are super friendly and professional with generally very good (basic) English skills.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Veranda Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my experience truly exceptional. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for guests were evident in every interaction—whether it was the front desk team ensuring a seamless check-in, the concierge offering thoughtful recommendations, or the housekeeping staff keeping everything pristine. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask, creating a welcoming and personalized atmosphere that made me feel right at home.The resort’s landscaping is nothing short of breathtaking. The lush, meticulously maintained gardens, vibrant tropical flowers, and serene pathways created a stunning backdrop that instantly put me at ease. Every corner of the property is a picture-perfect oasis, blending natural beauty with elegant design. It was the ideal setting for unwinding and soaking in the tranquility.What made the stay even more relaxing was how conveniently everything was laid out. The resort is thoughtfully designed so that everything I could possibly need—dining options, the spa, the pool, and even the beach—was just steps away. This perfect proximity meant I could focus on relaxing without ever feeling rushed or far from anything. La Veranda Resort is a true gem, offering a blissful escape with exceptional service and surroundings that make you never want to leave. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay at La Veranda. 1) The resort offered airport pick up and drop off services and made sure to communicate with us ahead of time regarding flight details. All went very smoothly. 2) The manager welcomed us and provided a very personable walk through of the site that made us feel like home. 3) The breakfast had some good options and we enjoyed the daily soup a lot. 4) Hotel is centrally located - within 10 minutes walk we can get to various shops, market , nail salon and SPAs. 5) The balcony is very private and quiet, good to just spend a couple of hours sitting there and relax. Would definitely recommend this resort.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we absolutely loved it. Maybe a bit expensive, but you are treated well. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, the grounds are lovely, very lush and well maintained, breakfast is superb and the staff so friendly and helpful. It's worth mentioning they arranged for us transport to and from the airport. The hotel has a private beach with lovely sand, and they provide beach towels; we were aiming to get there early to get sun loungers under the shade of the palm trees. Things have moved on since we last went to La Veranda, a few small restaurants popped up nearby, also a huge supermarket! still, the resort offers a very tranquil experience and we hope we'll come back soon!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect, the place, the location, the food, the facilities but what really sets this hotel apart is the service! The staff genuinely understand how to make you feel at home, anticipating your needs with warmth and attention. The thoughtful activities like wine tasting, tea time, and massage lessons are just the cherry on top , all designed to make every guest feel special. I love the stay there. Everybody is welcoming. I do appreciate the service of Sam, Sunny and other adorable staff. They are truly excellent. The facility is great. The room was carefully cleaned up and full of carefully designed details. Although the beach was not very suitable for swimming at this moment. Everything else was fantastic.

The property is an elegantly designed and maintained ocean front French Colonial mansion recalling earlier days in Indochina while the hospitality is pure warm and gracious Vietnamese - attentive, polite and never intrusive or rushed. The rooms are located in separate bungalows that are large and well-decorated with a private veranda and all amenities. They are all connect by winding brick paths bordered by lush jungle vegetation and flowers. The property has a nice pool and a sand beach adjoining the property. The beach is nominally public but the hotel maintains lounge chairs and umbrellas for its guests. The hotel offers a shuttle to a private beach but we saw no need to take the time away from this beautiful resort. Great bar with an ocean view and live music.

From the welcome drink and service we received when we arrived to the farewell gift when we left, we have been in awe of La Veranda and cannot wait to return. All staff were outstanding and special mention to Guest Relations Manager Sam who was an absolute superstar and also to trainee Megan, Cara and Sunny who warmly greeted us every morning st breakfast. The hotel and grounds are beautiful with a stunning private beach. The rooms are traditional, well sized and cleaned immaculately every day, Staying at La Veranda really was the highlight of our trip to Phu Quoc. You are treated like family and not just a number like big chain resorts. The breakfast is both buffet with al a carte menu. All food is served fresh and well presented. It was truly faultless on all levels and all staff are an absolute credit to management. Thank you La veranda for making our holiday so memorable. Jeanette and Nick
