I feel very fortunate to have found and had done my 20 years renewal of vows at La Veranda. After staying 4 nights at the Regent Phu Quoc I was excited to give this property a try. I am so glad I did. I Had a traditional Vietnamese Dragon and lion dance along with blessings from a female monk. Sam and his assistant Nga are two incredible sweet and fun people. They help and assist you in whatever you need to have done very polite respectful and fun to talk with. Iris is the sales manager that put this incredible Renewal of vows together. She is the sweetest creative person and so easy to talk with. Had buffet breakfast upstairs at the main house and always greeted professionally with a beautiful smile by Sunny food & beverage Manager make it so welcoming. We are so happy how amazing the entire staff treated us with professionalism and care. The property itself is just beautiful its so hard to explain the uniqueness, Tranquility of this property and food is so delicious words cannot describe. I feel so sad to leave this property with only a 2 night stay. I felt I have been staying here longer because staff treated us like family. I will Definitely refer La Veranda to family and friends when they are in Phu Phuoc. And we will defintely be coming back and stay alot longer. So sad to be leaving.

I’m honestly speechless. If there were a rating higher than 5 stars, this hotel would deserve it without a doubt. From the moment we arrived, Sam and Lin went above and beyond to turn a stressful situation into an unforgettable experience. We made the mistake of booking through mytour.vn, and our reservation wasn’t confirmed. But Sam immediately stepped in, made us feel truly welcome, and ensured we were taken care of like family. He even prepared a beautiful surprise gesture for my wife's birthday which meant so much to us. This hotel feels like home. Every moment here counted thanks to the warmth, professionalism, and kindness of the entire team. They also offer daily complimentary activities like afternoon tea, wine tasting, and cooking classes, all beautifully organized. The breakfast is simply perfect, with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful variety. And let’s not forget the location, right in downtown, close to everything you need to explore and enjoy Phu Quoc. To Sam, Lin, and the entire team, you made our stay truly magical. I can only rate food here and interior as I did not stay at the hotel, just came for dinner. Beautiful hotel with a colonial vibe, something like Cuban. It is quite elegant but at the same time not too much so you feel good there. I went there for Vietnamese street food day everything was good, deserts were delicious. Staff is very nice, you have a ‘jungle’ there too - a lot of palms and trees so you feel like on Bali. Beautiful Christmas decorations too

This is an exceptionally good hotel.. I have stayed in good hotels across the world but the level of service. kindness and thoughtfulness of this one, makes it exceptional. Great location, good beach and pool and fantastic food. Staff and mangement go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We stayed in one of villa rooms. Quiet, well deisigned with a orivate outdoor patio with direct access on to the beach.Don't miss the eggs Benedict at breakfast the best I have ever had. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. We will be back.

Just a perfect two weeks at La Veranda. This was our second visit after a 13 year gap. We cannot over stress how wonderful every aspect of our stay was. Our garden villa was just so beautiful, really spacious, extremely comfy large bed, powerful walk in shower, great aircon and all kept immaculately clean by the housekeepers. The private beach is very clean and fine sand with plenty of spaciously spread out, comfy beds. There is a beautiful pool area as well with a large enough pool to do lengths in. Then there is the bar and restaurants, just wow. We ate at both the downstairs bar and the upstairs restaurant many times and the food was exceptional, no matter what you chose and it all overlooks the exquisite gardens and beach. There are complimentary wine receptions every Saturday, rum punch (note very strong rum punches!) on Tuesdays, yoga and meditation sessions every day and also the very wonderful afternoon teas done twice a week, all complimentary. We even had free cocktails each evening while we there by recompense for the maintenance work that was happening which wasn't particularly disruptive anyway and had to be done due to recent typhoon damage incurred. Now to the people who work incredibly hard to look after everyone WITHOUT EXCEPTION! The service is exceptional but the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone was at a completely different level. Whilst I cannot mention everyone, special thanks should go to Sam the Guest Experience Manager. Everyday he mixes with all the guests, checking in with everyone and making sure everything is perfect. He remembers your name and is just a lovely guy who works incredibly hard. Sunny, one of the waitresses, is just a joy! Always a massive winning smile and so enthusiastic about everything. Then there is the live band who play in the bar each night. Brilliant musicians and singers with a massive catalogue of songs. Joy and Stewart (named after Rod apparently!) are also just lovely to talk to as well and really friendly. Then there is the rest of the waiting team, the head chef who takes time to speak to all his restaurant guests each evening and all the beach/pool staff who were all just amazing. My new favourite hotel in the world! We won't be leaving it 13 years till our next visit. ❤️

We originally booked three nights at La Veranda and ended up staying a full week because we enjoyed it so much. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy. ||The airport pickup was smooth, the rooms were lovely, and every member of staff we met was friendly and genuinely helpful. We hired a moped through the hotel to get around, and they took care of everything for us. ||Halfway through our trip, our next destination Hoi An (in the centre of Vietnam) was hit by flooding, and we weren’t sure what to do. The team immediately started helping us look for alternative accomodation as well as giving us options to extend our stay at La Veranda. In the end, we chose to stay at La Veranda for another four days, and it was absolutely the right decision. ||A special thank you to Crislyn and Sonny, who were both incredibly kind and patient throughout, nothing was ever too much trouble. ||The hotel sits in a great spot, with restaurants and bars just a short walk away - you’re also right in the middle of the island so it’s easy to explore north or south. It’s a beautiful place run by wonderful people, and we honestly hope the owners know how lucky they are to have such a dedicated team. ||We’d happily recommend La Veranda to anyone visiting Phu Quoc.

It was the 2nd time in this hotel and again, it was a great experience.|The hotel is a cosy place, the main building is an ancient house from last century. The staff is amazing, super friendly, always looking to provide value and a good experience for the guests.|Rooms are good, we had a balcony, food is good, great breakfast!||What is a nice benefit: there are specific little events, such as cooking class, wine tasting, yoga etc. , good opportunity to meet and have a chat with other guests. |There is a private beach, as well with a super friendly service.

The resort’s 1920’s French colonial architecture evokes old world charm and is breathtakingly beautiful. We liked the many mature trees and flowers dotted throughout the resort which gave it a serene and very tropical feel. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights in a beach view villa, which literally was on the beach. We were lulled to sleep every night with the sound of waves coming into shore. Although the rooms are a bit dated (the resort is 19 years old) the paint was brand new and all the rooms were beautifully decorated. The swimming pool was a regular hang out spot for us as it afforded beautiful views of the ocean. Breakfast was a sumptuous buffet spread with Vietnamese, Asian and Western options. There were also ala carte options eg egg station, fresh soup noodles and french toast, crepes and waffles. We particularly liked the freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee and assortment of delicious pastries. For lunch and dinner, food served at Le Bar and the Pepper Tree, both Vietnamese and Western options were outstanding. We enjoyed the food so much that we hardly ate outside the resort ! Staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful, Nothing was too much trouble, from arranging tour guides to customising food options. In particular, Sam the concierge was always cheerful and available to assist us at any time, Last but not least, the spa is a “must do”. The treatment rooms are beautifully decorated and tucked away in a quite and calm setting. The therapists very talented at easing away all the stress and worries you may have.
