Set in a beautiful tropical garden with its own beach , this resort was amazing . The main buildings , pool, yoga area , spa and rooms were wonderful . It’s also situated very close to the Main Street with a great laneway of businesses along this stretch. It was the best hotel/resort in PQ. ||One of the major positives was the staff. Manager Sam & his team including the lovely Crislyn were so friendly and helpful with Vietnamese hospitality and generosity. Nothing was too much trouble , and they were always available with suggestions and advice. ||We absolutely loved this resort and the complimentary activities during the week. I thoroughly recommend staying here !

Simply a beautiful resort located on the beach on the spectacular Phu Quoc island. This was probably my 6th or 7th stay so obviously I love the place. |The bungalows are large with huge 4 poster bed and a bathroom that includes a large shower and larger tub - big enough for anyone. |The whole resort is set on an old plantation with the bungalows nestled in amongst the greenery. All the usual 5* facilities are provided, huge pool, magnificent wellness centre(spa), breakfast buffet & restaurant. But i recommend having a few cocktails at beachside area which has a covered area as well. Staff are super friendly and professional with generally very good (basic) English skills.

A Magical Stay at M Gallery La Veranda Our stay at the M Gallery La Veranda in Phu Quoc was absolutely fantastic from the moment we landed. The meet and greet at the airport was a welcoming touch, and the check-in process was seamless and efficient. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and the front office team was incredibly nice, making us feel at home right away. We were then personally escorted to our room, number 701, which was even more impressive than we had imagined. It was wonderfully spacious and came with a thoughtful welcome gift. The view from our window was simply beautiful, offering a constant, soothing ocean breeze. The resort's restaurant was another highlight. The food was consistently tasty, and the breakfast buffet offered a huge variety of delicious choices. We also loved participating in the resort's activities, such as the massage workshop and cooking class—we highly recommend not missing them! The free shuttle to Sao Beach was also a great perk. The facilities were truly fantastic, and we can't wait to come back.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay in an ocean view room. Free airport shuttle, Martini welcome drink introduced by Shamir, the resort manager made a "Wow" and warm welcome, upon arriving the room refreshing lemongrass scent calming and soothing spacious room. We are lucky to join the wine reception and afternoon tea free activities. Despite the rainy weather, the pool and bar is perfect for relaxing. A truly boutique experience highly recommended for a romantic getaway. If given the opportunity we will surely come back. |-X&J

What a lovely place! First thanks are to those who took the trouble to portray such enticing comments on this hotel in these columns. I made my choice for a week long stay on the basis of those reviews and was more than amply rewarded. Not always a comfortable fit being a solo in a resort hotel but the very nature of La Veranda erases any such notions, and the genuine good nature of Sam the Manager pervades the entire staff, all so kind and hospitable. The welcoming letter from Madame Catherine, now in her 90's, the original owner and creator of La Veranda was very touching, her spirit still clearly providing guidance for this restful haven. The Pearl of Vietnam? For me there is no doubt :)

My first star ⭐ goes to the wonderfully friendly and diverse team members – always warm, attentive, and with a natural lightness that makes you feel instantly at ease.||The second star ⭐ belongs to the enchanting tropical garden, a living piece of botanical art .||My third star ⭐ goes to the architecture: colonial style revived in its simple, authentic elegance – never overdone, always just right.||The fourth star ⭐ is for the two unpretentious restaurants. No endless menu, but a carefully chosen selection of dishes and drinks – each one fresh & flavorful.||And my fifth star ⭐ is reserved for Mr. Duong – probably the best masseur Vietnam has to offer. ||Here, five stars don’t mean bling-bling or the next big thing. They mean accessible and casual luxury – the kind of understated elegance perfect for travelers who value authenticity over extravagance.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Veranda Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my experience truly exceptional. La Veranda Resort is a true gem, offering a blissful escape with exceptional service and surroundings that make you never want to leave. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay at La Veranda. 1) The resort offered airport pick up and drop off services and made sure to communicate with us ahead of time regarding flight details. All went very smoothly. 2) The manager welcomed us and provided a very personable walk through of the site that made us feel like home. 3) The breakfast had some good options and we enjoyed the daily soup a lot. 4) Hotel is centrally located - within 10 minutes walk we can get to various shops, market , nail salon and SPAs. 5) The balcony is very private and quiet, good to just spend a couple of hours sitting there and relax. Would definitely recommend this resort.
