La Vieja Varsovia - Pan, Pizza and Bistro

Good local food place in nice location on plaza fundadores. Have eaten many things here - eat in and take out. Pizza is a go to but always ask for it well done. Like that they have a vegan cheese option. The pastries and breads are delicioso! Veggie and vegan options. People working there are so accommodating. Shout out to Juan he's always on the ball.

Not recommended. Good service, it was NOT slow, and the place was full on a Sunday night. Mediocre food. I had the lasagne Bolognese. Not authentic, and not very good. The pizzas looked like they would probably be better overall, but I certainly wouldn't go back to try them. They are all thin crust but soft, floppy. The toppings all look ok, but all of the pizzas look like they have very little sauce and very tiny amount of cheese, so nothing to hold them together. They looked undercooked. My Pepsi was not cold. The seating is at tables with umbrellas outdoors on a plaza. View of the church is obstructed. It's not level ground. There's no barrier between the plaza and the tables, so people begging and selling merchandise are able to walk right up to your table and disturb your meal. Not recommended.

The place is simple and small, it's near to a public square in downtown. They are great for veggie lovers. Staff is friendly and food is healthy and authentic. I liked it. The only bad thing is that they don't sell alcohol drinks.

One of my favorite places in Queretaro. The best artisan pizza I’ve ever had in my travels. Is always packed so it can be difficult to get a table and service can be slow but you are in a beautiful plaza so just enjoy it. The staff is very friendly. I miss this place so much! They had flamenco night once!

Panico-Comidor is one of our favorite places in the neighborhood. Located on Plaza Fundadores, it's a great spot to watch the world go by. Very fine breads and pastries (check out their bakery/coffee shop about ten minutes away), the salads are so good and healthy, definitely try the hummus and avocado sandwich, love the pizzas; the vegetariana pizza is, well, wow. Best flat white coffee ever. When we return from visits to the USA this is usually the first place we have a meal. Hot strudel with ice cream sound good for dessert? I could go on, but y'all just go!

I’ve had the pleasure of having a verity of things from here. First I tried their bakery section. They carry dense, delicious, flavorful freshly baked bread. To complement that they make an awesome cup of coffee. If you’re looking for something more filling. They have an arranged of pizza with several dietary option for toppings including vegan cheese. Everything I’ve tried was were better then good

I had the “de la montaña” and it was excellent. Just the right size. Had some kind of cream cheese and a little sweetness to the bun. I’d definitely have it again.

Excellent café for fresh juices, teas, coffees, and artisanal breads made by hand. The pizzas are delicious and everything on the menu is made with the finest ingredients. Highly recommended!
