La Villa del Re, an SLH Hotel

We enjoyed a near perfect holiday at La Villa del Rei, which we chose as our first holiday together as a couple.||This is a really special place. If you are after a pure holiday, where relaxation is the main aim, then look no further. It is easy to forget that the outside world exists when you are cocooned in such a lovely place. ||We made full use of all the hotel has to offer: the two restaurants (both of which are fantastic), the gym (a good range of equipment and in a lovely setting), the stunning beach, the pool and the surrounding areas to relax, the Infinity Bar (with the ability to order by WhatsApp meaning you never had to leave your sunbed!), and the superb evening music acts. We quickly settled into a routine of reading, relaxing, swimming, and short outings to the surrounding area, including the Costa Rei, Vilasimius, horse riding, and the nearby Araxi ‘e Mari restaurant, which offered an authentic Sardinian experience and was a nice dinner alternative for one evening. ||Whilst the hotel is of course fantastic, it was really made by the staff, all of whom made it their mission to ensure that we could not have felt more at ease. The service really was faultless at all times, and we really got the impression that those who work here are proud to do so. There were so many little touches that did not go unnoticed, but the common theme throughout was attentiveness, friendliness and excellence.||I have rarely felt so relaxed and well looked after in my life. It was pure escapism.||Thank you for a brilliant holiday. We hope to return.

Simply the best hotel we have ever stayed in - don’t hesitate to book! From the moment we arrived we knew our stay would be a very special one. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome from Alessandro who gave us a tour of the beautiful hotel and all its facilities. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The service is just incredible, nothing is too much trouble. It was my husband’s birthday during our stay and they surprised him with a gorgeous birthday cake at breakfast! We are already planning our stay next year and we can’t wait! Thank you to all the staff who work so hard.

La Villa Del Re is simply incredible! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome.... from a refreshing drink, to a tour of the property and even a room to change and freshen up prior to check in! The hotel is stunning, food delicious and beach ...perfection! We could not have had a better experience and I give the hotel a 10 out of 5! It was a vacation we will hold close to our hearts due in large part to the staff at La Villa Del Re!

Stunning hotel with everything you need for a relaxing escape. The beachside restaurant was a standout phenomenal food, 10/10 cocktails, and a beautiful setting.||The main hotel restaurant looked great presentation-wise but missed the mark on flavour. My husband and I both preferred the beachside lunch experience by far.||Only downside for us was the crowd when we visited in July 2025, it skewed much older (mostly 60+). As a couple in our early 30s, we didn’t find the atmosphere very lively. But overal 10/10 service

Fantastic stay. The service is extremely attentive, very quick and super friendly - really made sure we are having a pleasant stay. The hotel property looks so much nicer than on the website, only the rooms are small. The food is incredible, gym is great, and the private beach was beautiful. 5-stars through and through.

A Relaxing Escape ||Our stay at Villa del Rei was, in a word, wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in a calm, peaceful atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for. The staff were incredibly throughout, always friendly and eager to help, whether at the front desk or the beach bar and especially at Le Palme restaurant. ||I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the team went out of their way to make it extra special, a thoughtful touch I’ll never forget.||Villa del Rei delivered on every level: comfort, service, and that personal touch that turns a good stay into a great one. Five stars from us.

We had another wonderful stay at La Villa Del Re — our fourth time already! The service is always top-notch, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes us feel right at home.||Special thanks to Diego, who is dedicated, quick, and always adds a touch of humor.||We loved the shaded outdoor gym and the beautiful sandy beach just steps from the garden. A truly relaxing and elegant place we keep coming back to!

The property is gorgeous, the staff is incredibly professional and friendly - Francesca and Diego made our time at Villa Del Re an outstanding experience. The food is amazing, the pool is relaxing, and the beach is stunning! Also, a shout-out to Leonardo, Christian, Nicolas, and Noemi!
