La Villa Luz Adults Only

Lovely little peaceful, relaxing b &b in Zihutanejo. Just a 5 minute stroll to playa la ropa & all the restaurants & beautiful beach. Our room was on the top floor which we highly recommend to get the best views from the balcony. Beautiful landscaping throughout leading up to your room. Dramatic entrance hall into the room separating the big lovely bathroom on one side & a smallish bedroom opposite. Minor grumble.... bedrooms need a place to put your clothes. Only a handful of hangers provided. We kept our clothes on top of our suitcase. Breakfast one morning the cook was a no show. A bit disappointed but there are loads of places to find breakfast on the beach. Lastly, if your room is on a higher level be prepared to walk up & down spiral stairs. Final verdict....we loved La Villa luz & would stay here again....9 out of 10.

The entire 5-person staff is wonderful, super friendly, attentive, and good at their jobs. Booked a junior suite. The room was clean, tiny, and basic--bed and a couple built in drawers, not even a chair. Food was great, we had breakfast there a couple times. Sadly the street noise was awful. Super loud. The windows had no glass, only built-in wooden shutters and screens. The hotel is on a busy road and you will hear every motorcycle and truck that roars by. I wouldn't stay here again due to the noise.

A beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful detail and lovely comforts. The room and bed were super comfortable, the room was full of considered luxury details, the pool was divine, the breakfasts were excellent and they had lots of great tips and advice of what to do in the area. All that and a 3 minute walk to the beach! I couldn't fault this hotel. We will be back for sure!!!

Amazing experience! If you're thinking of a unique stay that feels like you're at a family's beach house, BOOK!! Breakfast was unreal; get the chorizo eggs - my mouth is watering just thinking of them. They made us cocktails and brought them to us while we were in the pool. The beach is super close, and staying here had us feeling like locals. The property is extremely well designed and build well. The staff go above and beyond with support - got us Mexican Coca-Colas and helped with exchanging USD to pesos. Reminder to bring bills for tipping and dont stay here if you're wanting a more traditional hotel.

Gorgeous property, a 2 minute walk to Playa La Ropa with extremely friendly, helpful staff. Fide served a very tasty breakfast each morning with a huge smile, the manager Ania was always available for local advice and recommendations leading us to restaurants we might not have found, Antonio is a master gardener, Esa oversaw the property at night and BV kept our room spotless. Thank you all - really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at La Villa Luz (small boutique hotel) for six nights during our visit to the Zihuatanejo. The hotel is located a couple blocks from the main area beach Playa La Ropa, a beautiful, safe swimming beach. We had a room in one of the upper levels with a balcony and view overlooking the beautiful grounds, swimming pool, and beach neighborhood. |Our room, the common areas, and grounds were always very clean, well kept, and maintained. The hotel offers a breakfast option every morning cooked by a local chef, Fide, and was absolutely delicious. The entire staff, Esther, Erica, Fide, and Irving, were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. Muchas gracias a todos ustedes!

The “Luz” is an awesome place to stay in Zihua!.It’s an eight room boutique hotel. Each room is amazingly decorated.The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained. It’s a short 2 minute walk down to Playa la Ropa. The best beach in Zihuatanejo! Ania who runs the hotel and her great staff ( Isaias, Isael, Erika, Fide and Miguel) do an awesome job of giving each guest a memorable experience.I can’t think of any other place i’d rather stay than at the “Luz”. Ania was amazing with the help she provided booking tours and making suggestions on dining or places to visit. This was my 4th time staying here and i can’t wait to go back! If you’re coming to Zihua don’t hesitate to book La Villa Luz.You won’t regret it. You’re home away from home.
