From our arrival until our reluctant departure two days later, we were deeply impressed by this hotel. We were shown consistently charming and very thoughtful service from concierge, housekeeper, and wait-staff. The food was served outdoors or indoors, as we requested, and was unfailingly delicious. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The public rooms are very elegant. There are many wonderful, well-run facilities. We will return to this hotel whenever we can.

A beautiful hotel within the walled town, close to everything, yet lovely and quiet. Classic French hotel vibe. The room was huge and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in that garden and setting - wow!! The indoor pool is a good size and was the ideal temperature, it could do with a little love, as the tiles were chipped here and there and the shower was out of order, but other than that it was a perfect stay.

I rarely leave reviews but I believe this one deserves your attention. |My family has owned a house in the area since 5o years and we have been regularly dining in various places across the region. |We used to like Mazarin and many of our seasonal dinners would be hosted there. |This past July I decided to gather the family for my 50th at the Mazarin. |We had a very bad dinner experience from the beginning to the end. Shaky instable tables, slow service, absolutely incompetent server and where do I stop. The main course was served to many guests while some did not even get their first course. The server was making bad jokes and was paying attention to the requests. My wine order was forgotten and I had to go ask myself for wine which was ultimately served at the end of the main course. The main dishes were complex but tasteless. Huge disappointment all around. No more.

Well this hotel right in the middle of the stunning walled city of Aigues-Mortes was an absolute find! ||Villa Mazarin is a quaint little hotel. It was absolutely perfect for us as we drove down to Southern Spain and needed an overnight pit stop with our little pooch. ||Lovely large rooms - ours had great views onto the garden area. The staff were really helpful and there is underground secure parking too! Location was wonderful and we’d definitely return to Aigues Mortes! ||There’s a swimming pool too which we just didn’t have time to use! I’d thoroughly recommend Villa Mazarin!

My stay at this hotel was my gift to myself after receiving a promotion at work, and it was everything I wished for. First of all, it's in a 17th-century building on a quiet street inside the city walls of this extraordinary town. I was lucky to be given a spacious room in the historic part of the hotel. The whole stay was a dream come true. Just a few highlights: the heated pool all to myself, the garden/courtyard with tables and lounging chairs, the special touches like a little bag of cookies and a hand-written note to welcome me, the kind and helpful staff especially Jean-Pierre, the local rosé wine, the expensive soaps, the baroque sitting room with the massive fireplace... I will definitely be back!

Beautiful Villa in the center of the city. Service was very nice and helped us to bring the bag in the second level. Otherwise amazing pool area with whirlpool and clean rooms! Absolutely must if you are in the area and you like the feeling of being a king in a middle age place.

My husband booked us two nights here as a way to end our honeymoon after a road trip through France. And I am so glad he did! This hotel is breathtaking! It even smells so great - woody and fresh. The staff at the reception, restaurant and room cleaning are very friendly and very helpful. Our room was simply stunning, huge and very comfy... also very French!. The pool and sauna/spa was also very nice and much needed. The crowd is usually older and quieter, which was ideal; no kids running around, no loud teens. The garden where we had breakfast was the perfect start to the day. The restaurant is delicious and the overall furniture and decor of the place is very elegant. This was definitely one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed at and I can't wait to go back again. It's safe to say we were very sad to leave...
