La Villeggiatura Maison de Charme

Our stay at La Villeggiatura was very special. The room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Everything was very well thought out and immaculate. Barbara and Sunil took care of all of our needs and made sure that we had the best transportation to the hotel and back to the airport. Using the water taxi, we arrived in twenty minutes directly from the airport and the hotel was virtually a few steps from the dock. With only 6 rooms at the hotel. it is very quiet and feels like home. Can't beat the location with only a 10-15 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. There were several restaurants on our street as well as a place to buy supplies like bottled water.

We spent 4 fabulous nights at La Villeggiatura. Barbara the manager went above and beyond our expectations to be sure our experience in Venice was exceptional and it was. The property is spacious and grand. Our room had everything to make our stay comfortable including a remote controlled skylight and mini fridge. The location is absolutely perfect with short walks to major attractions like the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square but away from the noisy tourist areas. In the morning we joined the other guests for a large selection of delicious breakfast items. We often skipped lunch because we were still full from breakfast. We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful B&B and highly recommend it as one of the best choices for your stay in Venice.

The beautiful rooms and shared spaces are magnificently designed. Very well-curated. Bathrooms are so Italian in design. Very contemporary coupled with old world tradition.Perfectto! Service for rooms - did not take away dirty tea cups at end of each day. Very well located!

A lovely place very close to the Rialto Bridge, the markets, and not far from Piazza San Marco. Although situated in an old building, the apartment has been exquisitely refurbished making it very comfortable. Our room was big with comfortable beds. Breakfast was lovely! Barbara, our host was extremely helpful and accomodating.

Our second time here, same impression: great location, amazing services, best place for exploring Venice. Barbara, always a pleasure to chat and look for advice, Sunil, ready to help on anything regarding breakfast/housekeeping. We’ll surely be back again!

A sincere thank you to Barbara and her staff for the best possible stay in Venice! My brother and I spent several days at Barbara's wonderful B&B, and we loved every moment. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is great! The coffee in particular was exceptional. The location is great for exploring, and Barbara takes great care to ensure you have plenty of information for seeing the city. She goes above and beyond for her customers on every occasion. Our favorite meal in Venice was a restaurant she recommended to us. Next time we are in Venice, we will absolutely be staying here! - Jenna and Daniel

I would highly recommend La Villeggiatura! The staff are incredibly friendly and exceptionally helpful. They genuinely care about their customers and went above and beyond to provide any service they could. Their response times were fantastic—very quick, even replying at the end of the day. They also gave me excellent advice on travel from the airport to the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

La Villeggiatura is a wonderful find - v central and excellent value. The rooms are gorgeous, quiet and v comfortable. Barbara and Sunhil are v gracious hosts and are able to recommend good restaurants close by. This was our second visit and we will return. Highly recommended :)
