La Villeggiatura Maison de Charme

We had a lovely experience staying at La Villeggiatura. It was beautifully clean and the room was perfect. Barbara and Sunil looked after us incredibly well, Sunil with the breakfast and welcoming us when we arrived late and Barbara helping us with plans, journeys and restaurants. The location couldn't have been better, we would definitely go back there again.

This beautiful little hotel is a perfect place to stay in Venice. Barbara and Sunil are the perfect hosts, knowledgeable and keen to ensure you get everything you could wish for from your visit. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast plentiful and delicious. Barbara, being Venetian, is extremely knowledgeable and a fountain of enthusiasm for everything her beautiful city has to offer. We enjoyed our week long stay very much and thank them both for making it so special.

La Villeggiatura is the perfect place in order to enjoy the delights of Venice. Located minutes from the Rialto bridge it is easily accessible by foot to excellent local facilities, including shops and bars, immediately on the doorstep. The water taxi stop at Rialto Mercato, a few minutes walk away, gives access up and down the Grand canal.|The property is in a delightful Venetian building and offers beautifully decorated accommodation with spacious rooms ideal for couples or the family. The breakfast is fantastic and really sets you up for the day.|To top it all the staff are fantastic and really helpful and Barbara who manages the property is a delight and a font of all knowledge re Venice and happy to give advice on where to visit and where to eat.

Excellent stay. From arrival, Barbara could not have done more to make us welcome. She provided us with 2 x daily walking routes for our stay so that we could make the most of Venice.|The room was quiet and comfortable, good bed and en-suite facilities. Location is perfect near the Rialto Mercato and the street has a small selection of restaurants/bars.

Barbara and Sunil were wonderful hosts. Barbara made several great recommendations on food and attractions as well as helping book if needed. They made our stay in Venice comfortable and easy. I highly recommend staying at La Villeggiatura.

This accommodation was excellent and very central to all attractions.|A very large and pleasant bedroom with ample storage space.|The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the last morning which was very good value.|We would book this again.

Brakefast was not good at all. Eggs were cold , juices were of poor quality and very fee items in it. Room was full of mosquitoes and very hot despite opening of windows.

A wonderful place to stay in Venice. We really enjoyed being in a central location that was also quiet.|It was very comfortable and welcoming.
