La Villeggiatura Maison de Charme

A sincere thank you to Barbara and her staff for the best possible stay in Venice! My brother and I spent several days at Barbara's wonderful B&B, and we loved every moment. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is great! The coffee in particular was exceptional. The location is great for exploring, and Barbara takes great care to ensure you have plenty of information for seeing the city. She goes above and beyond for her customers on every occasion. Our favorite meal in Venice was a restaurant she recommended to us. Next time we are in Venice, we will absolutely be staying here! - Jenna and Daniel

La Villeggiatura is a wonderful find - v central and excellent value. The rooms are gorgeous, quiet and v comfortable. Barbara and Sunhil are v gracious hosts and are able to recommend good restaurants close by. This was our second visit and we will return. Highly recommended :)

Fantastic location 5 mins from Rialto Bridge and walking distance to anywhere on the island (but vaporetto stops are only minutes away when needed). The room was lovely, really spacious, and as in the photos. Barbara and Sunil were so helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. The BB is very close to Ponte di Rialto. Barbara and Sunil were very helpful. The only drawback is there is no lift we have to walk three floor. But apart from the great place to stay.|If we visit Venice again in future we would love to stay here again.

The location was excellent. Close but not directly in the most touristy area with restaurants and shops and the main canal close by. The room was large enough for 3 people and the breakfast and cold water right outside the room was very convenient. The only cons were many stairs and 4 different keys to get into the Guest House which wasn't a major issue for us but could be for some people. Our biggest issue was the air conditioning was not sufficient for the very hot and humid weather we encountered in Venice. With the air conditioning running and a large fan, it was still warm in our room.

An excellent week-long stay. Barbara and Sunil were so hospitable and warm, with great communication and local knowledge. Location was central to everywhere and so convenient as a home base, and the room was luxurious, comfortable, and clean. Lovely decorative touches everywhere you look. Highly, highly recommended for anyone going to Venice.

Really nice staff and nice room, which made possible a wonderful stay. The room and bath room are both very large. Barbara and Sunil made an extra effort to accommodate my dietary constraints at breakfast. And the location is really central !

Very large rooms, especially for Venice. Very nice breakfast. Host was very helpful and welcoming. Bed and pillows were not comfortable, that’s one thing that could be improved. 3 mins walk from the Rialto bridge!
